I thought about doing the same but I realized there is significant value in purchasing something that has been manufactured and marketed as a method of compliance by another company. If a cop or state prosecutor is looking at you and wants to get your ass it’s much easier for them to discredit your “3d printed piece of plastic” as not legitimate especially when we all know the actual product itself is a ridiculous compliance method to begin with. By purchasing it you have the excuse that you were convinced by a 3rd party that this device would in fact be legal since it was marketed as such and have something to back your claims with. If CA is gonna play games then so will I.
If Juggernaut Tactical is going to pay for molds to be made and release a polymer grip, they should just partner with KE Arms to bring the KP-15 to market in California with a compliant grip molded into it, so you can have a CA legal monolithic polymer lower receiver. 10% of all Americans live in California, it's a big enough market IMO to warrant the investment, especially since it's currently slowing down their ability to ship orders quickly that need to be CA compliant to ship. It'd also help them with their legal fees if more people know about the product and can buy it in CA easily without modification. This would allow them to keep all the other design parameters of the system (namely the A1 length of pull) while still offering an actually comfortable, useable grip of sorts for your rifle, while keeping it as light as the original product with a standard Magpul style grip molded into it
id rather just have a maglok and a regular setup with forward hand grip. the new takedown pins only split the recivers like 3mm and the bolt catch works. 0 downside imo. i can reload it just as fast.
By nature of having to open the action to drop the mag I’ve seen all of them cause problems specifically when you close the bolt and the rear pin doesn’t properly lock the uppers up causing the bolt to not feed the round properly or miss it completely. Opening the action can also potentially cause the bolt to slip off the bolt catch and send the bolt home This causes the upper to open further. So you to have to then close the upper to continue your reload
@@RenoMay thanks for the report, i’m going to be sad running my first fixed mag setup with ARMaglock Gen 4 & Kingpin sigh. Might consider featureless if I run into a lot of problems consistently.
unfortunately this isn't legal in washington because rather than specifying that pistol grips are an "assault weapon" feature, the law here says any grip protruding conspicuously below the gun that isn't connected to the stock
Sounds like you could extend that Juggernaut trigger another inch lower, with a proprietary lower that extended the shelf, and have the exposed portion of the trigger be....I dunno...below the ring finger or so. Is a dumb idea. But then again, so is gun control.
I work at turners and absolutely no one is buying juggernaut tactical grip. ppl complain it's ugly and way too expensive. matter of fact there is dust collecting on the bulge of the packaging
Of course the CADOJ isn't going to 'endorse' this grip or anything else because #1 the CA authorities don't want citizens to have an AR in the first place and #2 they want to always reserve the right to point out any individual AR part they don't like and then say "No, this part or assembly makes your AR an 'assault weapon' and therefore it is illegal!" Another reason why a gun store might choose to not sell this grip attachment is because the profit margin for the item might not be as advantageous for them to stock it. Usually, not always, the more expensive an item is there may be more room between the dealer cost and the msrp so it might make sense to stock it. However now with the high demand for anything made from steel or aluminum items such as these may be out of stock. I got one for my ar quite a while ago, feels nice but it won't be suitable for certain AR stocks.
I use that grip on my gun and people who shot my rifle liked it. It’s better than having that dumb fin where you can’t get a good purchase on the weapon.
Are AR pistols that are on the CA roster being attacked by the atf with the "amnesty"? Or is that only if they come with the pistol brace/have one currently?
Its the best featurless grip ive found but have some fatter hands and its makes a hot spot between my thumb and index. Better than not having control with the fin but still creates an issue for safety
The price is what keeps me away from juggernaut tactical products. Can't justify buying jt when I can get bcm or geissele products for the same or lower price.
I keep my juggernaut in my range bag just in case. I normally shoot in a place where im pretty alone and can tell from a good distance if somebody is coming.
This is what I always did when in California. Unfortunately the environazis shut down all the good places to shoot in the Los Padres National Forest where I could see anyone approaching for miles before they saw me.
How do feel about California’s ridiculous gun laws…. Recently turn down a 2 yr contract @.$100 per hour plus 1.5x OT…. Nothing is worth giving up my right to bare!

@@canicolas3 I purchased from Amazon the Covert Clutch HexGrip - Universal Tactical Grip Sleeve. It’s $7. A challenge to put it on as its tight, but one on its a perfect fit and will not slide off.
On the same note and I know I sound like a broken record on this. The doj is expressly aware of forced reset triggers and they’ve not said anything to the places that ship them to California. People can argue the rate of fire thing until the cows come home but after extensive research I’ve not found one instance where they came out and said that it increased the rate of fire nor have they called it a multi burst trigger. I think they enjoy the fact that people self castrate their own balls and are too intimidated to buy one. I’ve heard many people say they’re waiting for doj approval. Works for me because that’s less people buying them when they’re in stock which ensures only the Californians that have a pair get one. Hell, I’ve even tried to explain to people on Reddit of its current legality but some of the gatekeeping mods won’t allow people to hear both sides of the argument and let people decide for themselves. I digress , but in cases like these. It’s good to be vindicated over time. It’s nice enjoying freedoms other people are too scared to partake in. I just won’t give up more freedoms than the government has already infringed upon.
One of the many many reasons the family and I are moving out of California is the crazy and absurd "gun laws" that stomp all over the second amendment. Vermont here we come . Absolutely love you're content and we own one of these grips and it was actually recommended by turners outdoorsman where we purchased our first AR.
Naw, I'm a wait until SOMETHING happens with the court cases. Hopefully St. Benitez pulls through and give us back our legal rights. May be a long wait but f*ck it.
Don’t tell anyone, but mine is adjustable! :P while I stay in California, it’s at that horrible horrible angle, but once I leave, I can unscrew, adjust, and re-tighten, for a normal grip angle. Kind of like it
4:50 Look bro, if a man is going to be attached to the back end of my, um, lower receiver, I think I would prefer that he does have erectile dysfunction.
The way I interpret this is these grips are essentially hunting rifle grips for your AR-15. So, you if they ban these then they ban just about anything with this style of grip. I wonder if Juggernaut would make a grip like this for AK variants. Because I would totally buy it!
That's like $2 worth if aluminum. No reason they can't get this in the $40 range after machine time and ano. Maybe I'll just CNC something like this at an affordable price for Californias..

Straight up ridiculous that you have to do anything besides buy it and use it. Thank God I live in a free state. Holy shit you poor bastards really get the shaft
Best legal advice I’ve heard all day!
i've been rocking this grip for a couple years now. Had to substitute a few meals with some beans and rice, but it paid off. very worth it if you ask me. you will maximize control and ergonomics with your firearm, all while having peace of mind in this stupid state. If CA is gonna play games then so will I.
Ya, if JT can produce and sell a $30-50 option, I would definitely purchase for all my ARs…but $80 is too much to outfit numerous ARs
This would allow them to keep all the other design parameters of the system (namely the A1 length of pull) while still offering an actually comfortable, useable grip of sorts for your rifle, while keeping it as light as the original product with a standard Magpul style grip molded into it
Holdamania makes a similar grip that is polymer and feels more comfortable, I have both and the weight difference is crazy
I don’t wanna spend 50 on a grip that I can 3D print for less than a dollar
@@RenoMay if I had a 3d printer I probably would of done that to
What if we made a rim fire 5.56? Is it possible and would that make it legal??? Sounded smarter in my head.
id rather just have a maglok and a regular setup with forward hand grip. the new takedown pins only split the recivers like 3mm and the bolt catch works. 0 downside imo. i can reload it just as fast.
Zero downside except for magazine capacity and the fact that some of the fixed mag setups cause jams by their existence
X2 what reno said
@@RenoMay which fixed mag setups are more prone to malfunction?
By nature of having to open the action to drop the mag I’ve seen all of them cause problems specifically when you close the bolt and the rear pin doesn’t properly lock the uppers up causing the bolt to not feed the round properly or miss it completely.
Opening the action can also potentially cause the bolt to slip off the bolt catch and send the bolt home
This causes the upper to open further. So you to have to then close the upper to continue your reload
@@RenoMay thanks for the report, i’m going to be sad running my first fixed mag setup with ARMaglock Gen 4 & Kingpin sigh. Might consider featureless if I run into a lot of problems consistently.
I went to the Monster Man grip, A2 stock for my featureless AR.
Ditto!
Thou you do have a CCW, That would show that you are trying to stay within the law and not a criminal.
If I built/had a Featureless, I would rather run a Sparrow Dynamics, even if it's expensive
The CA.DOJ. CA.DOJ.
Thanks for the update.
unfortunately this isn't legal in washington because rather than specifying that pistol grips are an "assault weapon" feature, the law here says any grip protruding conspicuously below the gun that isn't connected to the stock
Ca's "assault weapon" ban is supposed to be going back to Benitezs court room, next week or so. In a week or so this discussion might all be moot.
Tell me you’re pre-workout is kicking in with out telling me you’re pre-workout is kicking in😅
Waiting on that jt 15 ssp review for sure!
Sounds like you could extend that Juggernaut trigger another inch lower, with a proprietary lower that extended the shelf, and have the exposed portion of the trigger be....I dunno...below the ring finger or so.
Is a dumb idea. But then again, so is gun control.
The resergent arms grip is a good option as well
Out of business for years now unfortunately
Wait nvm I was thinking of the “liberal grip”
@@RenoMay sparrow dynamics makes one almost identical to resurgent arms grip. Both way more budget friendly. Maybe video reviewing them?
+1 on the Resurgent Arms grip here
I’ve done a comparison of all three
FJB
Every time I hear "Featureless" I think of "The Blank" from the Dick Tracy movie.
I work at turners and absolutely no one is buying juggernaut tactical grip. ppl complain it's ugly and way too expensive. matter of fact there is dust collecting on the bulge of the packaging
According to gunthot's you are still a lawyer
My ar is always “compliant “. it always does whatever I tell it to do . LoL 😂
Lmao “they/them 🏀 testicles”
Damn Reno that 'prework out' has you bugggggiiiiiinnnn. 😂
The 'jidders' is a understatement
meth is cheaper
Its the best featurless grip ive found but have some fatter hands and its makes a hot spot between my thumb and index. Better than not having control with the fin but still creates an issue for safety
The price is what keeps me away from juggernaut tactical products. Can't justify buying jt when I can get bcm or geissele products for the same or lower price.
I printed mine , it does make it front heavy with one hand. Although it is a comfy grip for prone shooting
When I lived in CA I used the Sparrow Dynamics featureless grip and thought it was very good!
How do feel about California’s ridiculous gun laws…. Recently turn down a 2 yr contract @.$100 per hour plus 1.5x OT…. Nothing is worth giving up my right to bare!
THEY THEM TESTICLES....hahahhahahhahah yo thats mad wild
Look at all the good little COMPLIANT serfs on your channel
Who in California complies with this, I'd like to know...? besides the rifles I lost on Cachuma lake, all mine are compliant but I miss my pistol grips.
Yo man thank you I appreciate you. Glad you are my lawyer and expert legal advisor
CA here and I’m running that grip and enjoying it. I put a rubber sleeve over it and it looks a bit better. I guess you can say its protection lol.
What rubber sleeve are you running?
@@canicolas3 I purchased from Amazon the Covert Clutch HexGrip - Universal Tactical Grip Sleeve. It’s $7. A challenge to put it on as its tight, but one on its a perfect fit and will not slide off.
2 years ago, I ran with this grip for all my featureless rifles. I hate the weight. Who sells poly?
No one currently. Printed only
@@RenoMay I appreciate the quick response. I will call my printer guy.
Some people want too stay under the radar
“They them testicals.” 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣
Thanks for the info. Great legal advise as usual. Not only great, but complementary.
grips you can wrap your thumb around (pistol grips) are the standard for creatures with opposable thumbs. nothing assault rifle about that.
One of the many many reasons the family and I are moving out of California is the crazy and absurd "gun laws" that stomp all over the second amendment. Vermont here we come . Absolutely love you're content and we own one of these grips and it was actually recommended by turners outdoorsman where we purchased our first AR.
I run the resurgent arms grip which works well for what it is and made of plastic material. Still lame we even have to do this in first place.
Same. RA grip is alright but I took my rifle out of state and made it non-compliant during the trip. What a difference.
That grip looks like it came from a rifle from Fallout 4.
Naw, I'm a wait until SOMETHING happens with the court cases. Hopefully St. Benitez pulls through and give us back our legal rights. May be a long wait but f*ck it.
@1:34 I love how he gets away with flipping off the screen.. I'm sure that was intended for those anti gun
i went with thordsen stock / grip... i like it.. customizable to length of pull 😁👍
I hope I live long enough to see California free
so what happens if you're out in the desert and get caught with a non compliant ar15? like a pistol grip installed?
Don’t tell anyone, but mine is adjustable! :P while I stay in California, it’s at that horrible horrible angle, but once I leave, I can unscrew, adjust, and re-tighten, for a normal grip angle. Kind of like it
Dude, when the CA compliant AR pistol vid coming?
Could you use use an enclosed grip like those Alien guns from The Avengers?
The biggest question about your AR-15 accessory. “Is it gay?”
I prefer thordsen customs grip stocks. Same effect. Looks less stupid
All you need with that grip is lots of rainbow keymod.
