2:43:36 About your comment of people not finishing Rebirth. Believe me, a lot of people have finshed it (I have consumed so much FF7 rebirth content that is probably unhealthy lol). The thing with Remake vs Rebirth, is that Remake is a more linear game, which captures incredible well the same section covered in the Original (1997), the city of Midgar. And Rebirth captures how the world opens up after you leave Midgar in the Original. Rebirth is more about getting to know the world, towns, and your party members. Rebirth makes room for the characters breath, imo. I feel like multiple content creators I watched thought Rebirth was going to have a similar approach as Remake story wise, but Rebirth has it's own vibe, different from Remake. Also, this only an assumption since I'm no content creator, but many content creators seem to feel that they "need" to finish the game so they can go to the next game. That's why some say there is too much content. As a regular person that only plays for himself, I find the side content relaxing, something to chill and do. I never tried to complete everything in one go, I can do it at a pace I like, because I don't have people to entertain. I hope you have fun with the game!
Remake came out on a console that most people had or was easily accessible. There's literally nothing about the ps5 to get excited about so I think alot of us had to watch streamers play it because there was no simultaneous PC release and there was no benefit to owning a PS5 (it's literally just a glorified ps4 upscaling machine). Hard to get excited when you cant get access to the game yourself imo But it is a really solid game combat wise and has a long play through if you go through all the content the game has. Sad that most of us couldnt experience it because of exclusivity deals
