    6:27: just fyi, the RGB and Curl modes require an RGB texture, otherwise they default back to Gradient -- so bc you're using the B&W wood texture, they'll all do the same thing. if you try using an RGB noise texture, for example, you'll see different effects. Midge Sinnaeve gives a pretty in-depth explanation of how the different options work in this video: ruclips.net/video/w8jOBRMlaTU/видео.html

    I am wondering if you can help me with this, all the tutorials i can find have been about particle systems with charges on them but nothing much about rigid bodies with forces (charges), so here I have made 2 rigid body spheres (A & B ) added charges , have set a charge strength of 10 on A and -10 on B they just fall there is no attraction (tried setting both to 10)

    • @JoseWolff
      @JoseWolff 2 года назад

      same problem here.. trying to have Force Fields affect rigid bodies in motion but haven't been able to do it, they remain unaffected by the forces. and true I don't seem to find tutorials for that.

    Thank you for the tutorial! I have a quick question, on 4:55 when using the harmonic, how do you make the particles stay in the plane? Did you create a second plane and converted it into a rigid body or did you do that directly on the particle plane?

    • @PoMkAc27
      @PoMkAc27 3 месяца назад

      Particles are clinging to text surface. They will stay there if Damping is 1. Text should be a mesh with Force field Harmonic

    Thank you very much for the tutorial. If you have time for a question, I was playing with an explosion tutorial using a force object and a force field and saw that my simulation stopped at frame 240. I was wondering if this is normal or if there was a way to extend the simulation past this end-point. Note: I am finally taking the time to switch from Lightwave 3D to Blender, so I am still learning at this point.

    Could you explain the physics tab in Blender to me? I tried to read the documentation, but some of the words were too difficult for me to understand. Some words couldn’t even be translated into my language using Google. I don’t understand what ‘collision’, ‘rigid body’, or ‘soft body’ mean, among other things. After watching a video, I feel that I understand the ‘force field’ tab much better than when I was reading the Blender documentation
