I don’t like glazing artist. But my god. Kendrick Lamar is one of the best rappers out there no doubt about that. His flow is constantly better than most. He is a literal genius with his lyrics. He is so far the ONLY hip hop rapper to win a Pulitzer Prize (look it up if you need to, it’s crazy impressive for him to win that), and, his various ways of music throughout all his albums easily puts him in top 10 on every list you can think of. That last part is glazing a bit. But Kendrick is peak. I would consider DAMN, and a couple other of his albums to be in a top 15/less albums ever. His work is consistently good, and even his known not so good songs on his albums aren’t even that bad. He gets so much love that people really dog on him for his lesser work. This album was my intro to rap back at the time. Back then I didn't know how musically interesting raps can be. Feels so great to see another person enjoy these songs as much as I do. To me every song on this is a BOP

Kdot and MFDOOM are the only 2 artists I glaze in any way. When I compare some artists like (JID and Cordae) to KDOT some see it and some don’t, but those 2 are the future of hip hop

Damn is the only album that’s actually changed the way I look at the world. He has albums that are better and I prefer but what I felt at the start of Blood and end of Duckworth has never left me. I will always disagree with Fantano saying that this album is a 6/7 out of 10.
