They managed to get him to smile and did a side view close up of him. My heart melted. That cup isn't just enjoyed by adults, but kids also like seeing it.

Do you not watch the news or check the weather? We live in Oklahoma and have a Fire Stick for TV coverage instead of dish or cable. Our ABC & CBS stations are out of Florida and for quite a while it was non-stop coverage of the Surfside tragedy, and at weather report time, all hurricane. That building collapse looked way too much like our federal building horror from years ago. Much sympathy.

I'm near Clearwater, and Elsa wasn't very destructive. Really, we've had afternoon thunderstorms that were noisier and lasted longer. My last hurricane prep list was a flat of Starbucks Frappuccino, a dozen Costco muffins, a whole baked chicken, and soda for mixers. Plus 12 hours of Netflix downloads. It was just a tropical storm, and those are a breeze. Thanks for the funny stuff. Aloha.

As a Floridian, I can say the hurricane part was spot on. I even went to work the day the storm hit my area. Well, it wasn't a direct hit, but we did get the outer bands. i usually keep a couple of my shelves in my pantry for hurricane supplies until the end of the season so i dont have to worry about what everyone else is doing later. it helped during the freeze this passed march because i had some canned food a drinking water available since i wasnt prepared to lose power and did have any gas for the generator of wood for the fireplace

I was in Orlando and we didn't notice any change in the weather from Elsa. But it looked like Elsa hit more of the panhandle area. I hope that everyone faired well from the storm.

i usually keep a couple of my shelves in my pantry for hurricane supplies until the end of the season so i dont have to worry about what everyone else is doing later. it helped during the freeze this passed march because i had some canned food a drinking water available since i wasnt prepared to lose power and did have any gas for the generator of wood for the fireplace

It had a couple days of news coverage, but then, _shocker,_ California was on fire, then midterms happened, and it was on the Panhandle, so nobody really cared.
I will say though, when you've got Floridians from all over the state, most of whom have seen or experienced hurricanes, looking at the damage and going "Holy _shit,_ that's bad!", *It's probably pretty bad.*
