My Policy on Excepting and Reviewing Free Tools:
If I am reviewing a free tool that I have received from a company, I will disclose it on the screen in the first part of the video. I will not accept any tools that come with any conditions what so ever. When I am done making content with a free tool I will be giving them away to subscribers and people that support and engage with my channel. These give aways will happen in a monthly video called: 2 Beers in the Garage.
I make Tool Review videos in the hopes to grow a successful RUclips channel, and hopefully provide people with information that might be of some value to them as they look to improve their tool situation. Purchasing and learning to use tools at the highest level has given me almost everything I have in life- My opinions are not for sale.

Thanks for watching!
Project Farm did a test that included these 2 and the Milwaukee smoked the Mikita by for as a matter of fact ridgid destroy all other cordless vacuums.
I’m a “Milwaukee guy” but I hate it when people are all “it’s the best”. Thank you for telling the truth and for bringing out the small things.
I watch reviews to get such nuanced insights. Not to tell me what’s on the box! So thank you.
Thanks mate! I to am not a fan of read off the box guy, a close relative to open the box and see what’s inside guy😂.
I use the size 1 and 1/0 Mustad hooks to freeline for snook ruclips.net/user/postUgkxzXmlErSqVAEGWFEKO530BvTqFDw53QW3 and they have been fantastic. The points are super sharp, and the hook is small enough to blend with my baitfish, yet large enough to land fish 30" or more. I also use these hooks when I'm pier or surf fishing with my kids. They tend to catch tons of smaller snapper, whiting, and catfish, and we get far fewer gut hooks with these Mustad in-lines, which means more of them survive after release. I was actually using these hooks when I caught my friend too, but I think that had more to do with the bait I was using ;-)
As an apprentice I bought into Milwaukee cause that is what the company I work for supplies and years later as a Journeyman I haven't had a reason to switch. The best brand is debatable but one thing you can't debate is the fact that Milwaukee keeps expanding and upgrading their line of tools, so that is why I will continue buying team red tools.
Indeed:)
I just bought the Makita and love it as a renovation/interior contractor. It's perfect for those smaller cleanups where a big clunky vacuum isn't needed
Definitely one of my favourite tools. I was pretty skeptical until I tried one out. Thanks for checking out the channel.
I am a full Makita guy, but I have been interested in Milwaukee, but everything brings me back again to Makita :P
LOL Milwaukee is always luring me in with all the interesting stuff they come out with. I've always had Makita drill, and skill saws.
Joseph Ramirez I like to ramble on about the toolz
i like makita's philosophy but the tool selection of Milwaukee better.
for example, makita doubles up on batteries while Milwaukee comes out with new battery platform which mide as well be a different brand
It’s a big financial leap to change brands when you are invested on one company. If your tools are getting worn and batteries starting to go downhill it might be a good time to make the change, especially now with all the Christmas specials.
I was always makita, they're still good tools. But milwaukee is what we run in our entire company. I honestly still have the original 2 3.0 batteries I got in our first kit 10 years ago. They still run, charge, and get work done.
Makita batteries only past 3-4 years max. That's why we originally tried milwaukee, and since their line up has grown enormously I have never looked back. And the Milwaukees almost always blow the doors off an equal Makita, and milwaukee I has used installing porch railings had heavy rain they all got soaked, I was furious had nothing to loose so I said fuck it and finished the job in the rain last year the tools still run like new honestly. I love makita, Hilti, dewalts ok but the simple truth is milwaukee will out work, out last and out compete any product line.
Great review, the total user experience is an important aspect of tool review that a lot of reviewers ignore. Total utility is more than just how powerful a tool is.
Well said!
Really like your honest review, will watch more of your vids!
I appreciate that!
Your compairson of these two is much appreciated. I'm invested in milwaukee's system, so I'll probably get the packout vac, but I do like the features of the makita.
The packout Vac is pretty awesome, I’m just more used to the Makita.
@@TheFunnyCarpenter Yeah, they both seem like amazing vacs. Based on your own findings, I did expect more from the packout vac in regards to build quality since most of their other packout gear is pretty heavy duty.
So there I was at 5 in the morning watching vacuum videos.
Steven Martin 😂it’s never too early for vacuum vids!
Man, perfect find for me :) I split my tools between Milwaukee and Makita depending on the use. Plenty of batteries for both, was just about to get the Milwaukee battery vacuum for small around the shop stuff and car cleaning but now i'll have to consider this Makita :)
The Milwaukee is a nice vac, but I have both sitting in my garage and I grab the Makita every time because it's just more convenient to use.
Hahah had me rolling at the added slurp effect for the dung lol
Funny Carpenter great content buddy I am loving the channel. Keep on giving us more.
Good video! People laugh at the Dewalt weak suction but it gets the job done efficiently for all the purposes you demonstrated here and spoke of. It’s just about exactly what I use it for. It has all the best features of each of these, only better placed. is built like a tank and can be plugged in. Also fits my hoses and adapters surprisingly well. If you want more power that would sway me you’d have to move up to the hilti. The 2 things I don’t would complain about regarding the Dewalt is the blower/exhaust port placement should be on opposite side and i find myself tipping it while stretching the hole to far So I would say the port being on top would certainly help. This coming from a guy who is looking for an excuse to get the hilti or Makita. Thanks
No one makes tools like Milwaukee ! I’ve owned them all and in fact Ryobi is doing very well . Bought an electric lawn mower and wow very impressed!
Good job getting Jr involved. I don't have either of those shop-vacs (I bought a small Rigid thats corded with a lot of power), but the Milwaukee backpack looks like a better option if you're not fussed about Packout compatibiy. BTW HD makes a coupling kit set for $14 to connect various size firings to their Rigid shop-vac, maybe that kit will work for your Milwaukee
One thing that would have been nice to cover; Sound. Is one particularly louder than the other? Or does one have a more annoying tone to it?
Overall though, nice little take on the two. Both seem perfectly fine for the tasks they are intended for, which makes it really easy if you are already invested in a battery platform.
Excellent Point, I did even purchase a sound meter for this, but the video seemed to be dragging on so I cut that part out. Both the vacuums are fairly quiet without any annoying sounds.
👍👍👍drawer slide test👍👍👍
I’ve almost bought this M18 vac 3x in the last 2 weeks but my old one still works fine. You’re making it hard not to keep buying stuff.
My guess with the Milwaukee hose clip issue is it may be a response to complaints of the old model hose clips being to tight. With mine I don’t even turn to lock it or it’ll never come apart. It just wedge fits, and really works fine that way.
I actually specifically chose the m18 over the Dewalt because the attachments were internal. I’m to worried about losing them when they catch on stuff.
:) simple fix- start a RUclips channel about tools:). Problem solved!
Awesome that your tools that you review are actually used on real jobs. Also in regards to the Milwaukee packout vac and the lid storage. I agree with you I don't want anything locked up with a lid. Which is why I don't use/like packout or tough system, it's convenience mixed with inconvenience 👎 great review bro 👍
Thanks Greg- I really appreciate you checking out the vids:)
Agree with your comment about the lid; but I’d go further. If you have one of the smaller accessory kits mounted to the top of the vacuum; it makes it that much harder to access the vac tools.
That said the pack out system is still a great concept; just with the vacuum I don’t see it being all that use full for the lid to have that capability. Just make the vacuum so it’s only configured to be on the top of the stack.
*useful
Agree 100% with “convenience mixed with inconvenience”
Thanks for the review 👍
Thanks for supporting the channel!
Great review, thanks 👍🏾
Milwaukee did a nice job with the festool wand but the makita connects directly to the wand so that's a plus Milwaukee was a little faster great testing
As someone with both Makita and Milwaukee tools, but without a vacuum, I especially appreciate this comparison.
I lean Makita unless you can get a smoking deal on the Milwaukee or you have some pack out stuff that the vacuum can clip onto nicely.
@@TheFunnyCarpenter I'm on both platforms as well, but b/c of your review, I think I'm gonna go Makita on this tool. Thanks!
@xamphoa did you ever regret it?
Big brother almost got me! Sweet vid amigo 👍
So close!
One advantage the Milwaukee has is a longer hose that might be convenient on some location. On the other hand the Makita is much more compact. I don't see so much the outside tools as better or worse. It allows for faster grab, but the all inside allows cleaner tool storage with no dripping or dust spreading on way out. So here too, concealed is more bulky, but may be seen as an asset (and I'm sure you can store more shit in there, like a useful piece of rag).
So far with both of them sitting on the shelf in my garage I have yet to ever reach for the Milwaukee. The Makita is just to easy to grab and start vacuuming.
Literally considering the makita. I've got all makita rn
I love my Bosch vacuum. Little bit different design but works amazing! I also added wheels to mine so I don’t have to carry it around the job site. You should try it out...
Robinson Hollingsworth let me know which one- I definitely check it out? Thanks for checking out the channel!
That’s the best intro I’ve ever seen 👏👏👏 nice review bro! Thanks for the introduction of the green baby - I though milwakee is the only option ! Even though We have two of those red guys - I’ll get think about the Makita next time
Lol I’ve got plenty more dumb intro’s:)
@@TheFunnyCarpenter they are brilliant ! I’ll try to film something funny too 😊 been on the fence about it for a while now 😁😁
Very nice comparison I grabbed both the m12 and the new m18 packout vac and I have to take them both back severe damage to both and the boxes are in great condition it sucks
I originally purchased the Makita vac and loved it! But I use the Packout system and bought the Milwaukee vac, and ultimately wasn’t impressed at all, especially the premium for let’s face it a different plastic molding. Returned it and still use the Makita! Great review.
Can you attach the Milwaukee skill saw to the Makita vacuum
I'm completely unbiased in my opinion that Funny Jr. did a much better job moving sawdust. He's obviously a natural. God bless you both👍🏾
I really enjoy your comparisons. Just a tip, you should dial down the volume when you use power tools for the video
Thanks mate, I usually do, but thought the vacuum noise was relevant information. For saws or impactors, basically anything I wear hearing protection for I turn down the levels. Thanks for the feedback:)
Finally picked up the Milwaukee. Works well considering it’s running on a. battery.
@The Funny Carpenter. Learned of your channel from Belts and Boxes. Thanks for your review of the Milwaukee vs Makita vacuums. I'd like to see a followup video after you've use the Milwaukee PACKOUT vacuum for a while. Maybe you'll find some shortcomings or suggestions that Milwaukee will include in their 2.0 version. Each tool company makes both good and not so good stuff. I also appreciate how you've taught your apprentice Funny Carpenter Jr. the importance of wearing PPE when on the job. It'll be second nature to him.
Hope you and your family stay safe and well.
Thanks for checking out the channel. There’s a lot of great info on the Belts and Boxes channel. I definitely will follow up on the packout Vac after using it some more. I was also think of grabbing the new M12 Vac and seeing what it’s all about. Cheers
Thanks for the thoughtful and balanced review. 👍🏻👍🏻 Is Jr. on the Bos Custom apprenticeship program?
Funny jr, does show a keen interest in power tool:)
Thank you for this comparison. I was close to buying the M12 battery, but then found this comparison. I have the Makita battery system and although the Makita cost $100 more than the M12, I am glad that I bought the Makita. I am going to design an attachment and 3D print that will be similar to the Milwaukee. Hose.
The Makita is a little nicer, they make great stuff, but I went with the Milwaukee because I have pack out and use the mobil aspect a lot.
Great video FUNcle👍😘
Cool video. :)
I'm actually choosing a vacuum now. I have a Packout, so compatibility with this system is a big plus.
What do you think about Hilti VC 75-1-A22, anyway?
I'm not sure, I haven't seen that Vacuum before.
You can but the packout feet and attach them to a makita vacuum and snap it to your packout stack
I put a shoulder strap on my makita. I can sling it and run it with tools to get dust at the source. Great with a festool dust shroud for drills. Even ran my track saw with it. No regrets!
I'm kicking myself for buying a corded Track saw now, because it would be so handy to use it with a cordless vacuum!
Yes I also installed a should strap and man was it handy when I was routing overhead with the trim router for door jamb hardware. Also have used it with my cordless track saw for minimizing dust while undercutting a mineral core door on tenant improvement job. The packout feature is nice though. Still debating Milwaukee vac but already own this makita one. 🤔
Always listen to the kids, they know what they’re talking about and are always honest. Don’t own either yet. I have Festool corded vac but was planning on getting a cordless unit for smaller uses.
The Makita and the Festool dust wand is a savage combo! Cheers, thanks for checking out the channel:)
Awesome video and review on the two although would love to see a comparison video with the Milwaukee M18 WDV-0 and the Makita Vac, the seem more closely related. This Milwaukee Vac is more specifically designed for Packouts, almost in a league of its own. Personally I have Milwaukee M12/M18 sets and most people I come accross tell me they wish they started a Milwaukee set over Makita/Dewalt/Bosch/etc.
ya it's a tough call for me on the Best battery platform. I prefer Makita but they are definitely lacking in a few areas! That's how I've ended up with a blended family.
@@TheFunnyCarpenter haha can never have too many tools!
Lmfao the beginning was hilarious 🤣😂
thanks mate
Great vid, man!
Thanks for supporting the channel- means a lot:)
With the High output batteries, the milwaukee vac has even more power. I notice a difference between my 8.0 HO and 5.0 batteries.
Still waiting to snag one of the High output batteries.
Are these 2 vacuums a replacement for corded vacuum? Or they are not powerful enough?
I'd like to see you do a comparison of the Makita xdt14 or 16 vs the gen 3 fuel impact driver. No other reviewers seem to pay as much attention to detail as you do, like how they perform with trigger modulation and control on smaller fasteners etc and ergonomics. Most reviewers are most interested in speed which is really not as important as ability to perform with professional results- ie ability to set screws perfectly, and with consistency..
This is a great idea, I think I'll snag a Milwaukee and test it against my Makita Subcompact. I could borrow a xtd 16 as well.
@@TheFunnyCarpenter I would have to say the 16 is a more even representative to compare with the gen 3. I am glad you see what I mean though. I have heard that the gen 3 doesn't do so well even with 3" deck screws, supposedly because it goes too fast and doesn't start impacting till the screw is almost completely driven- this I would like to see tested. I really do think trigger modulation and control of power is huge and apparently under-appreciated, but thats how we finesse things together and make nice stuff right? I look forward to seeing what you come up with though! I think milwaukee are fantastic tools, just so nobody thinks I'm hating lol
nice review, how do you clean the filter on the makita? just under running water?
Did you know you can use a extra dust bag in the dirt compartment. The red thing is where you can attach the bag on. It will make a difference in vacuum fine dust
Another good unbiased comparison. I'm a huge fan of Milwaukee and Makita tools and own both brands. Makita's fit and finish is nearly always superior, IMHO, to all brands I've seen. Milwaukee is, in general, all about the power. That's not saying that either are lacking in each category, one is just better than the other. I don't have the Packout Vac but do have the 2 gal M18. I think you might like it more than the Packout version. Maybe not. I HATE the larger attachment that comes with the Milwaukee. The main opening it just too large and heavier material is difficult to finish up, and you end up having to remove it to get the last bits. It really sucks though. Which is a good thing in the vacuum world. The filters that come with the Milwaukee are supposed to be washable synthetic, and don't need to be removed for wet work. I've only used mine a couple of times for water and it did great. Filter washed out easily as well. I don't have a Makita vac yet. But that runtime has me itching for one.
I almost got that M18 Vac originally, I borrowed my friends for a week, but the hose on the inside was annoying to me. As it turns out I am incredibly lazy when it comes to vacuuming, yet if the hose is dangling around it upsets my OCD. LOL
I say because you got both the makita is def better for small jobs but if you got the packout rolling base that you cand attach a vacuum to as apart of the tools you can bring in with one hand its pretty sweet
Got a new subscriber. Love ur vids!!!!
Thanks a lot:)
Tbf the two brands I would go with are milwaukee and makita, ive mostly got makita tools, but there are a few Milwaukee tools I would like
Hey great videos. What are the chances that the Makita vac hose will plug right into the dust port on the Makita track saw?
I have the packout vac so far I like how quiet it is. both seem great for bot platforms. I really like looks of the new bagged makita push carpet vac 36v.
It's kind of surprising how well these little vacuums work. Although you do have to clean the filters pretty regularly.
@@TheFunnyCarpenter yeah they do.i saw the other day Milwaukee offers bags to help with fine dust. I'm gonna test it out to see if it helps
Philip Dove interesting, let me know how that goes!
Which vac had the better hose? The durability and strength of the hose is most important to me. Power wise they seem similar, but which hose will hold up to job site abuse better is what I’d like to know.
The hose quality is about the same, both great. I like how the Makita locks on better, but the end of the Milwaukee hose is more useful for sucking up stuff without any attachments.
If you have a 12.0 or 8.0 High Output battery could you test the Milwaukee on site and let me know if power is improved and what the run time is increased to. Many thanks for you time and effort making these videos I don’t always agree 100% but I respect your opinions and learn some useful tips sometimes like stay away from dewalt storage lol so glad I have Systainers and Packout
Thanks a lot for the support John! I appreciate your comments. I don’t have anything bigger than a 5 amp battery right now, but will keep my eyes open for a deal on one of the big guys. I like your idea.
I have the Makita one, and it fits in the new Systainer3 M 337. just unscrew the hose holder...
Perfect for me, because I have all my stuff in systainers
Lol this is good to know! Sometimes I look at my ladder and wonder if I should chop it into small bits and throw it in a Sys 5:)
@@TheFunnyCarpenter Between the T-Lock Sys and the Sys3 M is a difference. I used the, I think the Sys 4, and it didn’t fits well, it was hard to close the lid. The Sys3 M have more space inside, it fits and you can close the lid, nice and perfect. I don’t know how much is the Sys3 in your country, here in Germany it’s around 45€, maybe not cheap but you can stack your Makita... or maybe modify the Sys3 and you need just for cleaning to put out the vacuum. You can change the battery still the vacuum is inside the Sys3. If you like a can make a video if you like to see how it fits and can put a link here in the comments.
Great video, thanks
Thanks for checking out all these vids dude! Huge thanks
Thank u so much!
Im setting up a very small shop, do you think I can attach a cyclone bin to the makita and it'd still have enough power to suck?
There's no universal adapter to add-on an extension hose? And how long can the 6' hose stretch?
Wow, Milwaukee should take note of this person's review. These are some obvious and simple improvements that they could have considered at the design stage. Battery indicator visible outside, better hose storage clips, better hose connector, better lid fastening clips. doh!
Can confirm hilti make the best little vac, have those 2 and the dewalt on site with the boys running different brands, Milwaukee and dewalt advantage is they can take 12v battery and run for ages, and dewalt has a cord, but as an actual Vac hilti all day
Jr did a hell of a job. Made my decision off jrs choice. Let him know👍💪
How do you find the filter in the makita? Can you buy replacements easily?
I love the Makita vac, although it took me two tries to buy it. First attempt I was ripped off by a scam company (I wanna say it was mercari?). Online scammed! Yay! Second attempt was successful (home depot). Anyhoo....haven't tried the red one. Super happy with blue one.
Ya I’ve enjoyed it a lot! Sucks about the scam:(
I love makita, but love milwuakes lights, made the decision to buy batteries for both brands, now I can afford to buy the best tools of both brands. Food for thought
It's super nice to be tied into one battery platform. I find each company has its strengths and weaknesses with each of the tools.
Buy Makita batteries and Milwaukee adapters for them. I use 99% Makita except for Milwaukee nailers with an adapter. The adapter stays on the tool and they act as if they were a Makita tool, so I only need 1 charger and 1 battery system.
@@TheFunnyCarpenter hehe that does sound fun but these tools do start getting expensive. So sometimes its nice to watch videos like this one and know your getting the better tool. Sometimes I do make exceptions , I love makitas wood working tools but I has to go with Milwaukeess router since it has a better micro adjustment system. Consumers really do appreciate it when videos like these are made. Thank you🤧
@@verlicht I was considering that but the cheapest I could find those was 30$. Also I like milwuakees 12ah batteries, last much longer than makitas 5-6 ah, so I made the decision to get the milwaukee router kit, then Milwaukee tire inflator kit. So now I'm in the m18 and m12 lines. I only have smaller 4 Milwaukee batteries in total but slowly but surly that will increase.
@@alejandrocuellar15 You can find them at 20$ too, but even at 30$ it's worth it just to be able to use one single battery. I got over 30 Makita batteries and my charging station is equipped for 18V only, so it makes a lot of sense for me personally. If I were you I'd get rid of anything 12V, sell the batteries and use adapters.
I miss tools made with steel frames and boxes. I remember my dad actually used a Stanley metal lunchbox.
As someone who uses the Milwaukee packout system daily I have to say I favor the Milwaukee over Makita. However, in the end it comes down to what brand you're invested in and what tools you need daily.
well dont use the Milwaukee for water like you mentioned . You can use with out a filter just the ball but another review I have watch they said Milwaukee advise you to use there foam filter. I enjoyed watching your video , keep them coming
I did take the filters off both the Vacs. The foam filters will keep any debris from getting sucked into the fan, but if you're just cleaning water than not a big deal. In my experience.
Thank you for your review I'm definitely buy and a makita although I like Both units but I'm gone for the makita
Nice! Yes I have both of them and I never use the Milwaukee. The Makita is just easier to grab and start using.
I think especially the Makita is begging for a mod. Add a charger and IEC port for a plug with a circuit to allow it to run on AC.
You’re very thorough and clear. Really enjoying your videos. And the Funny Carpenter is cute as a button!
Thanks so much!
One thing I’d say is makita you have to take the hose off to empty/get to filter where Milwaukee is all stored. Another negative if add
Packout boy here but damn makita is good
Hi,
Well, the real question is if the new milwaukee gen 3 vacuum is better than the gen 2. Not because it's a packout system. It should have 3 times more suction for dust pick up. Not really worry about 1 second more on water pick up.
Dewalt got bad reviews about how their hose were outside with all the attachments. Now that milwaukee is outside it okay, LOL... Milwaukee fans are so funny.
I use both brand so I'm happy with both. I like the dewalt vacuum just because i also have the corded / cordless model. It comes handy when you already have power. Just wish the power cord can coil inside and not outside on the handle. That's the only thing.
Just my thoughts
Did you use drugs?
I have the old Milwaukee vac for 5 years
I leave the filter in even with water picks up around 3Ltrs at a guess.
Good to know, Thanks Chris.
If they are washable they can suck some water up in em.
i used the 1st gen milwaukee and it stoped workin in about 6 month. Using the new fuel for about a year and thinking to get something else. Specially for the wand extensions fittings, and the hose comes off from the vacuum.
Milwaukee seems to be a little more powerful than Bosch GAS 18V-3 (same CFM: 50 CFM vs 51 CFM and 120 mbar vs 90 mbar), but it does seem to not suck as good as Bosch. Could you test?
If I get ahold of the Bosch I definitely will!
Is it possible to attach Milwaukee fuel tools to the makita vacuum? Thanks
Great video
Thanks!
I wonder if you could use the Makita to blow up an air mattress...is there a reverse flow option?
I washed my makita hepa filter, was totally useless after wash. Seems like the dust went into the filter material and totally killed the airflow.
My solution was to get the prefilter set and just cut holes in the filter. Did not want to spend money on a useless filter.
The vacuum is the only makita 18v tool that has left me disappointed. And i have alot of makita tools.
Interesting. So far I just bang my filter and blow it off.
Where can i find that “dust wand” for the m18 vac
Only reason I have Milwaukee was bc I got a hell of a holiday deal one day as a brand new green apprentice and stuck ever since
Full disclosure, I have the Milwaukee pac out vac on order.
I would say some additional advantages for the Milwaukee is it will accept their 8, 9 and 12ah battery for longer runtime AND It can take advantage of the HO batteries with better performance from what I’ve seen. The hose clips do worry me but I have an idea for that. As far as the tool storage, that doesn’t bother me, I prefer them to be tucked away inside. Finally, the Milwaukee has fine filter bags you can use as a pre filter. Does the Makita have that option do you know?
I've looked for filter bags for the Makita and can find any. From some thing I've read putting bags on this type of vacuum can hurt the suction power. I will get some of the bags for the Milwaukee and test it out and perhaps look into making some type of bag for the Makita. Also would be great to test out one of those mega Milwaukee batteries and see what the difference is. Cheers and thanks for commenting:)
Yes I was wondering about those fine filter bags for Makita
I saw you have newer makita speaker I have the first one and have trouble with Bluetooth range how is the newer one?
Range is ok. You definitely can’t walk outside with your phone and it’s sketchy if you’re on another floor.
Too keen to do the Milwaukee in. Be less bias
Bias is my middle name so I’m kind of screwed🙃
Naw, he’s one of those people that can actually notice the small stuff.
The nozzle being smaller on the Milwaukee is obviated by the large attachment in the water test, so it’s just literally more powerful. That’s born out by battery life. But those little subtleties on the Makita add up day to day, glad he mentioned them all. It’s the danger of our modern “everything is a commodity” culture, where you just buy the one with the most power, and ignore literally anything else.
Subbed! Cause, well, You rule!
Makita will never leave my toolbox! I feel like when it comes to a impact/saw..smooth is the only way, to operate...Milly wall kay is is about as smooth as a jackhammer! Its like Hilti.....why do all the job site jocks (iron workers, Labors putting in 10" concrete titans) use Hilti and Milly Walkie, carpenters don't need jack hammers to install cabinets.......

electricianMakitas, I would always have a comment like, "Whoa, that's the same white drill, my old lady has "
Lol, Cheers man!
Have to agree that the old Mill a Walk Hey doesn't put a premium on precision! Thanks for checking out the channel
When they made both of these vacuum cleaners they should have included a second battery to make it either 36v or a switch to use two 18v batteries for twice as long? And also included wheels.
I don't know which is built stronger and which will last longer but speed comes second or third at least on my list since I don't run it too often.
The kid said it Milwaukee is the best
I already have a bunch of Milwaukee batteries, so that is certainly a factor. However, to me the Makita just looks so much more compact compared to the Milwaukee that seems kind of bulky? I just want something out in the garage to do quick touch-ups on my cars without having to break out my big 16-gallon vac all the time. The more compact size of the Makita is enticing - even if it means I have to have another charger stand on the work bench……🤔
I love the Makita. I use it all the time in the garage or around the house, and if I’m ever back on the job site it’s a must have. The thing that I appreciate is you can just grab it and snap on an attachment and you’re in business.
What kind of shoes are you wearing here, and what do you think of them? (maybe a comparison vid with your old shoes?)
you should try the milwaukee with one of their high output batteries
I'm with DeWalt so not biased (decent tool selection and good pricing here in UK), We used Milwaukee platform in my previous workplace and Makita in current, Milwaukee simply crashes Makita with tool selection and innovation not to mention new high output batteries, I like and appreciate Makita move to 18v X 2 (wish dewalt did just that, I think Milwaukee will after seeing their new vacuum) but it's not enough, If I will ever have to choose new platform, it will be Milwaukee every time.
If you have a Festool wand that means a Festool vacuum is around somewhere so... a Festool Midi is the vacuum to have🤷🏿♂️👍🏿
I have a mini that I love!
Except none of them put the damn power switch near the right spot around the carry handle. Have two different Milwaukee vacs, one the switch is on the left hand side which isn't terrible, but if they put it on the right you could flick it with your thumb, the other is on the opposite side to the vac side so you have to put the thing down to turn it on/off.
Probably answered in somewhere in the comments but, is there a difference in noise levels? Like your vids
The noise levels between the two is pretty similar.
