hey just in case you didn't know punk loved this album so much that the band bad religion released a hits album and the whole thing is return our album and take the money and go buy skid row slave to the grind lol
"I was not expecting that . . . " Neither were we. When a hair-metal band has a big hit with the power ballad from their first album, their second album is always filled with power ballads and more lightweight material. Not Skid Row. The came back HARD - harder than anybody could've imagined. That always gets my max respect.
On top of that, the record company told them the demos for STTG were too heavy, to dial it back. Imagine what the album would've been had they gone with the original stuff!
Drummer is Rob Affuso. They have two guitarists. Dave Sabo played lead on this song (also co-wrote it with Rachel Bolan, the bassist) and Scotti Hill is the rhythm guitar.
As an older guy who knows all this stuff, I give you credit for doing one of their heavier tunes. I try and try to recommend really badass songs to other channels but because they don’t know me that well and don’t know the song, they basically ignore me. You guys are the only ones I know of who’ve played this. So, I will take another chance and tell you that this is a great Hard Rock song from one of the best bands! JUDAS PREIST: Riding On The Wind! It’s pure energy and one of their very best songs!
You chose the absolute greatest rock video ever made by the most beautiful, most amazing singer in rock history. They were lightning in a bottle. And Sebastian can still do it.
I'm enjoying the shit outta watching you youngsters discovering the best musical era of all time....the CONCERTS WOULDVE BLOWN YOUR MINDS.... FKG AMAZING....makes my heart hurt a little reminiscing
The two guitarists are Scotti Hill and Dave Sabo. Rachel Bolan is the bassist and the drummer is Rob Affuso. The guitarists and the bassist still are in Skid Row but they have a different singer and drummer. I saw them in March and they still sound really good, but I would love for them to reunite with Sebastian.

I stopped at 441 because you said tell you who was on drums and guitar. Well the drummer was Rob Affuso and this was the first major band he was in I think (could be wrong). But, the guitarist is Dave "the snake" Sabo. He was actually one of the original members of Bon Jovi when Bon Jovi was just John going by his name and they split up before runaway the single got popular. That's actually how Skid Row got signed in a way Dave was John's original guitarist and he wanted to help out someone who helped him get started. Dave and Rachel Bolan were song writers for a while before forming Skid Row as a band but they went as Skid Row as writers of songs for other people.
That’s Rockstar 101 style from the 80’s. That’s just how they dressed all the time. That singer got more women than you can count. At the time every female I knew wanted him bad.
The description of this music is simple. It’s badass Hard Rock. You just need more exposure to it. That’s why I recommended that JUDAS PREIST song. Trust me on this, I know this stuff!
Ad Infinitum - I Am The Storm The band's founder, Swiss vocalist Melissa Bonney, is one of my favourite metal singers and I guarantee you'll like her too. She's classically trained and can also growl with the best death metal singers. Ad Infinitum is melodic power metal, kind of like a cross between Iron Maiden and Nightwish.
