Perfect . I love the way you explain with love for VR . have you thought about making a video on optimization and the differences between Vr and flat? I will love to see that :)
Super Thought out, On how to be both highly modular and customization / reusable in the world. Really Nice job Quinn. Also can't believe I wasn't following you on Artstation, But I am Now 😊
@@MidnightVampiro I’ve wanted to make a tutorial on it for years but it would be a super long series, I’d need to do a lot of prep. But that is the plan 😉
Thats super cool. I want to ask you about the screen material. I am quite new at ue4 VR development. I am developing an application for the Oculus Quest 2 (Android application). I know as an android application it has graphic limitations. I am trying some holographic materials with a moving effect for some objects (panners and stuff like that). The thing is that at first, it works propperly, but the moving effect slows down along the time, and after a few minutes, the effect finally disappears. I dont know if you had to face this problem in some moment of your development process. Thank you very much in advance! Edit: this happens only on the Oculus, it works perfect on the editor
That is a weird issue, did you by any chance use a tutorial to make your material and if so could you link it in this comment section so I could try and replicate the issue you’re having
@@QuinnKuslich Thank you for your answer! Yes, the tutorial of the material is here: ruclips.net/video/NJ3MUQYR7ok/видео.html&ab_channel=CorebGames By the way it happens to me on any kind of moving materials, as well as a skybox with a panner or a material that blinks with emission... I dont know if it could be something related to my project settings. Im using vulkan, but with vulkan enabled I cant enable mobile HDR. Edit: Im building an apk for Oculus standalone application.
This Looks Very Good. I Was Wondering Could This Computer Be Made Into A Main Menu? For Example: The Computer Is On A Table And You Can Press Play Which Would Load A Level Or Have A Options Menu Which Would Let You Change Settings Like Audio Or Graphics.
@@QuinnKuslich oh cool! Thank you for awnsering my question. I am glad to know I dident know if it was a snap location. I'm excited for the tutorial series!
pretty cool. Was thinking of building a system like this for my project in Resonite. I noticed this video is 2y old. Really hope you've moved on from "teleport" by now. Most VR players agree its an outdated method of locomotion. lol
Can't wait to see this as a tutorial series.
jokes on you
This is so genuinely impressive. Well done dude!
Thank you!

Which helmet do you use? I think Oculus Quest 2?

Yes absolutely
Good job
so i have locomotion. so i dont use teleport. is there a way to have it turn on by a button instead or like a hand motion idk.
You don’t have to teleport in front of it if you just walk into the trigger box that’s in front of the Computer it will work
