2:01 about red card in tournaments, most tourneys have open deck lists, so you actually see the full deck your opponent is playing. If you don’t put red card in your deck then the opponent knows you don’t play red card and they immediately have an advantage
Tank mewtwo is indeed insane. I even use him on my blastoise ex deck. It's way better than kangaskhan or snorlax as a tank cause you can retreat with it easily.
I don't really see the use of kanga in the deck unless it's there to take hits or early harass (if you're lucky). Why not swap it with say porygon or the Pokedex item card so that you can at least see if you're getting gardevoir and if not, then you can use the pokeball to reshuffle
Personally I think Gardevoir is harder to draw than mewtwo. My friends and I (total 4ppl), only 2 of us had 1 Gardevoir each yet 3 of us had 2 or more mewtwo copies.
I did the math, I went off of CAD since I'm Canadian. to get 2500 pack points you would need to open 500 packs, each pack requires 6 gold bars to open, based on the shop options you would have to buy the most expensive option (in my case $139.99) 4 TIMES, AND THEN buy the 2nd most expensive ($59.99 for me) once to total 3010 gold bars which after taxes netted ~$707 CAD which when converted equals to $505 USD. AND THATS FOR JUST 1 GOLD CARD!!! No shame from me I just wanted to give insight for @charlesss417 :)
I'm free to play as well - my strategy was to pull from Mewtwo packs to make easy decks like Marowak and build towards getting Mewtwo+Gardevoir lines Pikachu packs arent great for f2p unless you completely luck out and get all the electric types you need - its hard to build the other decks from that pack like Nido lines etc. Once i cleared out the Charizard and Mewtwo packs i opened Pika because those packs do better when you have the commons assembled from all the other packs first
@Helmolt23 or I ignore that advice since Pikachu is an ex card and if it gets k.od that's 2 points to my opponent. And Jolteon isn't also Jolteon does 40 damage on top of + 40 for every heads which can wipe out an ex In 1 shot
@@Yabai-Wa-Yo if you're interested to try mewtwo without gardevoir you could try playing kangaskhans and clefairy line to have 1-energy attackers to stall while you build energy on your mewtwo.

Love the kanga and jynx version of the mewtwo deck I started using it and it’s crazy good.
Been running this deck since last night.... like an 80% win rate. Most people just concede.

Yes Kangaskhan is there to stall and potentially do damage while you charge up your Mewtwo. I don't see the value of Porygon or Pokedex.

My problem being f2p I only have 1 deck that can work on 50% of the time. I got ex Pikachu and Jolteon getting me wins if I'm lucky
