Greninja is such a fun deck, my fave version is a fighting deck with mostly hitmonlee as your attacker, and greninja to add damage, and it avoids electric decks
yeah i think they should have attacked anyways to get more damage on the board but without a potion or another benched pokemon i think it was over for them either way :’)

Lucky for you though they didnt get anymore pokemon. I ended up learning this the hard way where pika ended up swinging for 90 instead of 30. 3:48 This is where he makes a critical mistake. He retreats not knowing about Sabrina. You water shuriken the pika to ko it and sweep the electrode with a clean 60 dmg. This is why Sabrina is GOATED my dude.
yeah you’re probably right about the red card there :’) i’m glad it worked out in the end sabrina is amazing! definitely was the key to victory there i think without another benched pokemon they were toast either way

If I could with a friend, I'd have two greninja on bench and they would have 2 butterfree on bench. We would not attack at all and just be in an endless purgatory of healing and shurikens.
I run a starmie ex and greninja deck, i havent seen people play it much but its great for quickly sweeping teams before theyre able to get their stronger pokemon set up

I’ve been using double Greninja, Solo Articuno EX, Solo Golduck. Articuno can take hits while I set up the Evo, and psyduck can use its headache to stop the opponent from using supporters, giving me more momentum during setup

Nice, I’ve been using Farfetch’d in various decks. That early chip damage is killer while setting up. Going second in this game makes all the difference though!
Honestly I really love playing this deck because the thing it's very good at is obliterating mewtwo decks, and overall being very surprising to other players because the playstyle (at least how I play it) just gives as much importance to farfetchd as it does to greninja, so I've seen many times where they just sabrina my pokemon at the wrong time and just checkmate themselves, or they don't know how to deal with farfetchd consitently spamming 40 damage all the time, and just get weakened so much that water shuriken just cleans up everything. This deck is just so good at not wasting any turns and being precise with damage. I'll probably try articuno ex + misty with it just to see how it goes once I get the frozen chicken.
I figured there's another card which pairs up extremely well with greninja, it's druddigon because while it does take time to charge up, it's not really a waste either because it's a bulky yet pretty mobile base card, only needing 2 energies to remove, and its ability just gives it another free 20 damage for just being there taking a hit, so with greninja it can do 130 damage in 1 turn which I found is a good counter to mew, starmie and Pikachu decks, and celebi not too much, the only win i got against a celebi, it was because the opponent just got insanely greedy charging up their celebi in the bench to up to 7 energies while never attacking with their active pokemon, so I got to fully setup 2 druddigons + got the time to get a graninja, which was just a checkmate for my opponent. And being forced upon fire energy isn't that bothersome to greninja because its 2 pre-stages don't need water energy, and just when you're really not lucky greninja is perfectly fine chilling in the bench. It's quite good :D
Another fun deck to use is the double ex exeggutor double butterfree deck, with Erika and potions for an almost unkillable exeggutor, with relatively fast setup since exeggutor only needs 1 energy to attack (if you start with Exeggcute and evolution in hand you love to go second to get an attack from exeggutor as soon as possible)
they made greninja's ability more broken in tcgpocket by not requiring to discard anything from your hand to activate it compare to the original base XY print
yeah it’s quite strong here! but i think it’s appropriate for this format that original xy card came out when i was first getting into the tcg and i always wanted to play it with the greninja break deck but never had the cards for it :’( i’m glad it’s back in pocket!!
Been running greninja with Articuno and Bruxish with greninja to clean, and build up pidgeot on the bench too bc the drive off ability helps spread damage around
In the first fight, the person blundered by retrieving his Pikachu. He could've done 100 damage if he had added one more Pokémon to the bench. Then there was Voltorb to finish off Greninja. You had nothing after Greninja that could attack immediately. He would've given energy to his Pikachu EX, and it would have been ready in a few turns, way before your Greninja. And then, boom, he wins

I've been enjoying Greninja Weezing. Having the extra poison ticks and koga to return weezing to hand denies the opponent points and keeps Greninja safe!
greninja is one of my fav cards in pokemon pocket! i've been using it in a dragonite deck to get healths down to the next multiple of 50, but I think your deck is stronger lol
i do like the more immediate damage that farfetch’d provides with a lower attack cost and the one retreat cost makes it easier to pivot between attackers even if you don’t have x speed in hand i’m definitely sacrificing a better pikachu matchup with the farfetch’d choice but it helps make for flashier games :) and i think it’s funny to have a frog + duck deck LOL i’ll test the tauros out though i think that could probably work!
@@mui1b Personally, if you do try Tauros, I think you should probably give up one of the Giovannis for a second X-Speed so you can retreat them easier.

Aerodactyl is great for Greninja. You can reshuffle a pesky active Pokémon while Greninja Water Shurikens the bench. You can counter Sabrina by switching in Old Amber, then discarding it for free.
you could pair blastoise with hypno or frosmoth to sleep stall while you power blastoise up! or maybe with another strong water ex like lapras or articuno!
I do have one interesting mon which idk if he's that good, but victreebel has an ability that transforms it into a sabrina you can prock each turn. Idk if it can see any uses im new to the game
i think victreebel is interesting too!! it can be pretty strong if you’re going up against decks with a lot of basic pokemon but since it doesn’t work on evolutions you might not always get to use it
I really wanna try a deck with greninjas and seadras. imagine dealing 90 damage in the bench per turn. I have zero seadras unfortunately. only 2 horseas. and I don't wanna spend points to buy them >_> P.S. the deck would use misty, yes
Yo a tip which would’ve helped you in the first game. If you’re looking for basic pokemon use prof research first then pokeball and vice versa if you want somethin other than basics
oh yeah that’s absolutely a great tip! i definitely research first when i’m playing pikachu ex for this deck i like to pokeball first then research to find frogadier and greninja since i don’t have ways to search those out :’) although i don’t get froakie off the pokeball like i wanted there was a pretty good chance that i found it since my only basics are froakie and farfetch’d!
that combo seems pretty interesting! though i imagine having multiple stage 2 pokemon makes it tough :’( i recommend greninja arbok for a similar control style deck i’ve liked using that

hmm i would say it has a pretty decent win rate, although we’re really relying on getting greninja evolved quickly and that won’t always happen like with any stage 2 deck, so it might not win as much as something that has other strong attackers like starmie greninja hopefully you can get one soon!! i believe in your packs :)
i used a website called limitless tcg!! really good resource for pokemon tcg stuff in general try searching pocket limitless tcg and the deck builder should be in the pocket database page!
@@mui1b I was running 2 x speed before but I find that having 2 red card can be alot better early on. Still trying to experiment with other tech cards but for the most part it's a high risk high reward kinda deck. Has a hard time with pika though and lucky Articuno ftk lol

this is a cool deck. being able to deal 20 to the bench would be good with hitmonlee to do 60 to the bench, with giovanni this is the perfect deck.
giovanni only increases damage to the active unfortunately :’( but even still hitmonlee greninja is pretty interesting!

@mui1b thanks! I tried the snorlax wall and while it's a good tank it's easy to get around with Sabrina or a back line hitter.

Yo a tip which would’ve helped you in the first game. If you’re looking for basic pokemon use prof research first then pokeball and vice versa if you want somethin other than basics

for this deck i like to pokeball first then research to find frogadier and greninja since i don’t have ways to search those out :’) although i don’t get froakie off the pokeball like i wanted there was a pretty good chance that i found it since my only basics are froakie and farfetch’d!

I was trying out Greninja victreebel but I don’t think it’s great
that combo seems pretty interesting! though i imagine having multiple stage 2 pokemon makes it tough :’( i recommend greninja arbok for a similar control style deck i’ve liked using that

hmm i would say it has a pretty decent win rate, although we’re really relying on getting greninja evolved quickly and that won’t always happen like with any stage 2 deck, so it might not win as much as something that has other strong attackers like starmie greninja

@@mui1b I was running 2 x speed before but I find that having 2 red card can be alot better early on. Still trying to experiment with other tech cards but for the most part it's a high risk high reward kinda deck. Has a hard time with pika though and lucky Articuno ftk lol
