Uvalde shooting update: DPS Director Steve McCraw testifies

- Texas Department of Public Safety Director Steve McCraw is scheduled to provide an update on the investigation into the mass shooting in Uvalde Thursday morning.
The hearing comes as calls for his resignation grow louder. The director has been heavily criticized for his response.
McCraw has faced scrutiny for his department’s poor response to the mass shooting in May. Later this morning, the director is scheduled to testify in front of the Texas Public Safety Commission in Austin.

One cop alone by themselves should be able to
risk their lives to save multiple people so how is
it that 400 cops couldn't save 19 kids. Just so
everyone is on the same page that's 21 cops per
kid. So there could have been 21 cops standing in
front of each kid to make a shield how can you
not do the math that day and say well my life isn't
worth the same as 19 kids and go in not thinking
twice about taking a round for any kid let alone
19. What a joke of police force

Officers should have went into those classrooms && ALL OFFICERS there should be charged with child neglect!! If the 911 call from the little girl IN the class room (her telling KIDS to shhh! or help is coming(when they are on the outside of the room hearing it happen)) if none of that is not enough proof of child neglect and they took an oath to PROTECT AND SERVE then what do these families need to do??!! The fallout continues... That press conference was garbage, because it sounded to me like Mr. McCraw won't take full responsibility for his department's failings of Uvalde...
We need Washington to intervene. McCraw is a source of the fallout, he needs to resign immediately.

As far the investigation he has nothing to add to it. HE IS NOT an investigator. As for his other actions, I am sure he will do that.
