I like it but they also killed it off at the same time. The only reason why I liked them is for the baby Duramax diesel and the ZR2. Got to turn to used market now. Hope they add a Diesel back. The only mid size in America left is the Jeep Gladiator I think.
Great video thought, always very interesting to see one of your new videos. Thanks

exactly my thoughts. I was holding off until the release because the old model's interior feels every bit the 2014 design that it is. If they had introduced the new one just as it sits, but with the duramax as an optional engine, i would have been ready to preorder a desert boss the day they started accepting orders. But when they took away the engine options and said 'heres a 4banger and a revised version of our class action lawsuit transmission' .... hard no. Especially when the top of the line ZR2 Desert Boss is probably going to be pushing $60k... I'm not paying that for a midsized truck with a 4cyl motor. I'll hold out for the Ranger Raptor or see what the 2024 Tacoma refresh has to offer.

Well...I’m excited my 16 has 124k and I’ve been impatiently awaiting the new Colorado hoping it had the 4cyl turbo and a new interior!! Yatzee and it’s better looking

Would love to see GM adopt a hybrid model.

Currently driving a 2007 Canyon SL. It's basically the work truck. Vinyl upholstery and flooring. Manual everything. AM/FM radio only. It's exactly what I need in a truck for my work and nothing more. I love the 3.7L 242hp I5. Plenty of power and decent MPG. This new Colorado has me intrigued. Looks good overall. I can't help but wonder why manufacturers are so insistent on making new vehicles as complicated as they possibly can though. Turbo engine? 8-spd auto? Standard tech? It's not going to be as reliable as my truck long-term. I just feel it. Yeah, I know it's not 2007 anymore, but there's something to be said for a simple, dependable truck for those of us who actually NEED a truck. I'm disappointed that it looks like there will be no extended cab with a 6ft bed. I'm not a soccer dad. I don't need a 4-door truck with a short bed.

Let us know when you get #HandsOn we already know how you test vehicles. I hope this truck can at put a good fight cause it’s only one that’s dominating now, we need variety and heavy hitters out here, my next vehicle gone be a truck but midsize I can not do full size do to me being in the city limits. I hope this truck packs a powerful punch like Chevy is saying

Man that work truck with the bigger engine. But it's not 4wd yet? 🤔

They need to drop this cylinder deactivation, it's nothing but problems.

1000% agree. they took a bulletproof 5.3L which they've had for decades and fucked it all to hell with that stupid tech. Worst part about it is, on my 2011 Silverado I got the same mileage before and after I deleted it.

Looks like a cross between the Silverado and the Tacoma.
