Hi Steve! What great examples of cards for $25 or less. There’s so many great football cards than can be picked up for under $25. I about fell out of my recliner when I saw a PSA being shown, haha. It was a fun topic for a VR, so many affordable deals out there! I have to admit I was starting to get a bit stressed going into that 5th inning, once the Yankees imploded and the Dodgers tied the game I felt like we had it!
Hi Steve, nice 72 Unitas addition. You can never go wrong adding Johnny U. It amazes me how reasonable many of his cards are compared to his baseball equivalents. Always nice to see Vern Stephens. The 52 is my favorite and and the one in my collection. I would like to add his Bowman rookie. The Leaf is tough because it’s a short print. You gave great examples of the bargains to be had on some vintage star players and HOFers.

Hey Steve, first off, congrats on your Dodgers, my friend. They were the better team and earned it, while the Yankees certainly did not, especially during one inning in particular, lol. These were great choices to share at the price point. The Nate Thurmond -- that you picked it up at an antique shop and it graded an 8, all in for < $25, that is awesome! I also really liked the Carew; I shared a Carew in my VR as well, and I think his cards are very undervalued.

Great recommendations! This was a good approach. I heard you mention grading some of these great cards. Q: I figured once PSA's parent company snatched up SGC, PSA prices would go up and they have. Have you noticed SGC prices going up? With no competition to speak of, I have to think we won't see reasonable pricing again in the near future.
