It is very bizarre how extreme “Pride” has become. It’s far, FAR beyond “tolerance” and “acceptance,” and has crossed into idolatry, revelry, and fist-shaking at the one who created us male and female. Romans 1 describes this generation to a T… verse 32 says they “not only do them, but give approval to them who practice them.” I’m always blown away at how accurate scripture is.
There’s a pride event in my small town on Saturday, with drag shows, a play area for the children, and readings for them by the “queens.” It grieves me, but I’m not sure what I can do about it. It’s obvious the children are being targeted. Been praying with other Christians…maybe you can address this at some point? What can we do to protect our children?

My apartment neighbor is an 18 year old lesbian and Wiccan. Her gf is always over there. Her name is Hex. They are definitely participating in pride month. I am a 59 year old Christian woman trying to make a connection. I have invited her to church and shared the gospel with her. I have all the names of Jesus on my door in vinyl letters which she sees every time she leaves her apartment. But I am kind to her and she has been nice to me.I pray for her but not sure what else I can do.
I would just continue praying for her and also for yourself If her g/f is into Wiccan she could be saying her own kind of prayers in relation to you. But the power of the "blood of the Lamb" is more powerful.

And I see crystal clear how sexual immorality has hurt so many people, single and married, men and women and our youth. The devil is a liar. The church must pray without ceasing, the church must pursue holiness and not compromise our faith even when those we love are walking in sin. My dad and my stepdad were not important role models in my life. I had more lovers than the woman at the well and you and yet Jesus saw me and saved me.
Right. If you are raised in secular culture you are taught to hook up with many people while you are young and carefree. Then when you get older you realize how destructive it is, and how you have hurt all those people. At least this is how the Holy Spirit has convicted me. I weep for my sins in terms of sexual promiscuity.

Women go through predictable stages at certain ages...unfortunately for them, often it's not the Holy Spirit that intervenes to change them, it's simply that they've moved onto another stage in their life.

My heart was literally broken as a I watch the videos of parents and drag queens manipulating and introducing those children to sexually provocative behaviors at that club in Texas last weekend. #Jesus is not going to standby for this much longer. Shameful shameful shameful. And the fact that the club is still open and did not succumb to any backlash or suspension of liquor licenses is even more disgusting.

I was in pharmacy school in the late 80s and AIDS was talked about a lot. This brought back so many sad memories. There was so much dark humor (as you might expect from college students). There was fear, for sure. But I saw a lot more compassion, care and concern than I ever saw "hate" or "phobia".

My teenage daughter is such a fan of yours, we first saw you on a podcast with Allie Beth Stucky & we both fell completely in love with all of your work. I just want to thank you for it all as i am sure it has caused some very dark days and persecution from that community in order to bring truth out to the light. This was a very interesting video. So many things I didn't know regarding landmark moments before my time. This year's Pride month seems exponentially worse than previous years. I mean Postmates, of all companies, posted their disgusting ad about their "bottom menu" and even Fox News is getting into woke reportage with a segment on a Trans teen that expressed their queerness "before she could even speak". On the flip side, people have become more active in speaking out against and protesting these things (Alex Stein at the "Drag Your Kid To Pride" event). I think it's going to be historic in the sense that we're going to see a greater divide between those who support the gay agenda and those who support traditional families and gender roles. I hope the Lord uses it to bring some holiness to the Church that has largely stood silent while these things have taken over our society. Thank you for continuing to share these things with a Biblical perspective in mind.
I just moved from Silver lake a couple months ago. I lived right next to the reservoir across the street. Although the area and people are beautiful around there I could never feel at home-it just didn’t feel like a happy place and maybe the origins are why. I remember all this too. I was born in 64. When the AIDS epidemic came out, I was just starting to go out the the bars. I remember all the gay men being angry. I knew some gay men who died in the late 80's. It still is one of the saddest periods of all of history. I think the gay community's hatred for Christianity became more pronounced during that period.
Well, it's wasn't just the gay men...lesbian feminists have LONG had a similar hatred of Christianity before gay men...for more reasons than their sexual orientation.

One thing I find very ironic is Mitt Romney was the governor of Massachusetts as the first state to legalize gay marriage. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I was pretty disappointed in him to learn that.

My apartment neighbor is an 18 year old lesbian and Wiccan. Her gf is always over there. Her name is Hex. They are definitely participating in pride month. I am a 59 year old Christian woman trying to make a connection. I have invited her to church and shared the gospel with her. I have all the names of Jesus on my door in vinyl letters which she sees every time she leaves her apartment. But I am kind to her and she has been nice to me.I pray for her but not sure what else I can do.

And I see crystal clear how sexual immorality has hurt so many people, single and married, men and women and our youth. The devil is a liar. Shameful shameful shameful. And the fact that the club is still open and did not succumb to any backlash or suspension of liquor licenses is even more disgusting.

I was in pharmacy school in the late 80s and AIDS was talked about a lot. This brought back so many sad memories. There was so much dark humor (as you might expect from college students). There was fear, for sure. But I saw a lot more compassion, care and concern than I ever saw "hate" or "phobia".
Compassion, care and concern aren't sentiments that one can rally around though are they?...have to demonise, accuse, label and express victimhood...in order to further agendas.

My teenage daughter is such a fan of yours, we first saw you on a podcast with Allie Beth Stucky & we both fell completely in love with all of your work. I just want to thank you for it all as i am sure it has caused some very dark days and persecution from that community in order to bring truth out to the light. This was a very interesting video. So many things I didn't know regarding landmark moments before my time. This year's Pride month seems exponentially worse than previous years. I mean Postmates, of all companies, posted their disgusting ad about their "bottom menu" and even Fox News is getting into woke reportage with a segment on a Trans teen that expressed their queerness "before she could even speak". On the flip side, people have become more active in speaking out against and protesting these things (Alex Stein at the "Drag Your Kid To Pride" event). I think it's going to be historic in the sense that we're going to see a greater divide between those who support the gay agenda and those who support traditional families and gender roles. I hope the Lord uses it to bring some holiness to the Church that has largely stood silent while these things have taken over our society. Thank you for continuing to share these things with a Biblical perspective in mind.
I just moved from Silver lake a couple months ago. I lived right next to the reservoir across the street. Although the area and people are beautiful around there I could never feel at home-it just didn’t feel like a happy place and maybe the origins are why. I used to walk on the mattachine steps all the time, didn’t know about the mattachine group. Super interesting

my church talked about the Tampa Bay football situation today.....they were forced to wear a "rainbow" patch on their uniform.....a handful (5 I think) refused and made a statement.....saying the will honor God only.....

At least one of the reasons that Alfred Kinsey’s statistics were so fallacious was that he took them from interviews with prison inmates (including prostitutes) and presented them as if they reflected the mores and behaviors of men and women in the general population.

Hi Beckett, thanks for the history. I live in the Bay Area, and like LA, everything Pride is agressively pushed, esp. by the local media. I'm really middle of the road, and used to be tolerant as long as it stayed private. But this has gone way, way too far. Even the CEO of my company puts her "preferred pronouns" in her company wide emails, and pushes matched donations to that GenderCool org for trans kids. I'm sure that other co-workers are fed up too, but don't dare say anything. As a 4th gen CA native, it never used to be like this. That long overdue Next Big One can't come soon enough.

I remember all this too. I was born in 64. When the AIDS epidemic came out, I was just starting to go out the the bars. I remember all the gay men being angry. I knew some gay men who died in the late 80's. It still is one of the saddest periods of all of history. I think the gay community's hatred for Christianity became more pronounced during that period.
Well, it's wasn't just the gay men...lesbian feminists have LONG had a similar hatred of Christianity before gay men...for more reasons than their sexual orientation.

I had just moved to California when the Harvey Milk assassination happened. I completely agree with that assessment of Dan White; on some level he almost represented the whole “You WILL see & tolerate my lifestyle” in your face politics of the day. One thing I find very ironic is Mitt Romney was the governor of Massachusetts as the first state to legalize gay marriage. As a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints I was pretty disappointed in him to learn that.
I'm super annoyed that June, my birth month, is now this so called pride month. 😔

The 1920s was not unlike the 2020s (and 2010s) in that it was a time of intense social strife, very similar today. Mainly, it was a battle between Christian fundamentalism and Modernism/Progressivism. Besides Prohibition and the Suffrage Movement, there was the Scopes Trial and the battle to teach evolution in public schools, as well as Margret Sanger and Planned Parenthood. I say all that to say, it’s not surprising that the “Gay Revolution” can be traced to 1924, right in the midst of the most culturally contentious era until the rise of the New Left in the 1960s/70s.

I read that in ancient times , such as Egypt homosexuality was a type of ritual in pagan temples . We know that these idols were really demons /fallen angels . Just like killing children to Moloch was an offering to these entities . I know that these ancient people weren’t stupid . In ancient times God blessed Egypt...‘The LORD will make Himself known to Egypt, and on that day Egypt will acknowledge the LORD. They will worship with sacrifices and offerings; they will make vows to the LORD and fulfill them’ - Isaiah 19:21.
God also told his angel to inform Mary and Joseph to flee to Egypt with Jesus for safe haven.
