I love this ESC. I had no problems running the Torquebeast X on my Gladiator BEAST. It was very quiet and smooth slow startup. Maybe the program didn't load right for you. Brushless is right on. As always Nick has brought us another top of the line upgrade. Thanks for a great video and comprehensive evaluation of another excellent option
Appreciate the in-depth dive! I am having a similar fantastic experience with a RockWolf and Nano BAM motor-smoothest power delivery I have encountered in a mini rig, absolutely stellar. Really hoping these releases can offer some competition for the elephant in the micro brushless electronic world.
Absolutely love these dives and honest opinions on stuff that a consumer could easily miss. When you do an internet search for RC parts, the same 2 brands dominate the space. Great price! Programmable and 4S capable? Thing rips! That Bronco absolutely hovers even on 3S.
I recently got Mofo Rock Wolf esc and Nanobam! Absolutely 💯 love it! Best upgrade I ever got for my scx24 jeep! Unbelievable power and so smooth! Great video! Thanks for sharing brother!
hey Adam, love you,re videos. i just have a question for you, i want to go brushless but i want it to be affordable but have great torqe and slow crawl, do you have any suggestions?
Nice review! I'm a die hard Lizard Pro guy, but I appreciate the AM32 platform. That's what my dinkyRC runs as well. I hope MoFo offers the RockWolf without the programmer for a little less (for those that already have a programmer)
Would options like this be viable for some using the truck at walking pace for long periods of time? My lizard ultimate is dead in the water after three runs so I’m looking for reliable options. For now a microx is in place.
I haven’t stress tested ours to that degree, but I can tell you that my son drives his up and down the sidewalk all over the neighborhood and it’s held up great!
Great explanation of the programming. I wish these could be Bluetooth so bad! I tried connecting mine and it just wouldn’t do it. It’s a pc issue because the dinky I have laying around wouldn’t connect either and I’ve connected it before. It just drives me nuts having to jump through all the hoops of the computer programs. I’m officially old 😆
LOL we’ve just been spoiled by the Bluetooth and smartphone app by furitek. That setup is just so slick. I hope Nick makes these Bluetooth in the near future
@@vdel9036 I forgot to say to you , I actually ordered some 3s batteries and an esc last night , I don't know where you live but it doesn't take very long at all to get over the pond to me in the north of the UK , so just order what parts you need and you will have them in no time , enjoy what ever your building mate 🇬🇧
I got mine today and I've given up on already, I downloaded the files from the email but I can't do a thing with them , are there any videos anywhere with instructions how to make the esc work .
Yo , i just recently happend upon your videos when iwas randomly looking for a new hobby seein as how i am less able to run around these days. I actually just found two used c10s for 100 on my craigslist . Ty so much for giving me something to do again !!! Also Congrats on ur new position !! Dream jobs are hard to come by ! I hope it is everything you wish it to be !! P.S. Always look forward to your videos ! 😀
I think the firmware took, as mine was glitching bad on brushless. I also have a mofo brushed motor and mine us smooth. Almost as smooth as the brushless. Might be a setting.
Are those Super 8's I spy under that Bronco? Personally, if I'm going to use an aftermarket esc, I'm looking for silky smooth brushless characteristics. The Rockwolf does not disappoint in that realm. Nick always puts out excellent products and I'm pretty sure, over time, he'll have the brushed set up dialed in. Either way, between the 2, I really like the Bronco build... but, I'm biased toward Fords even if it's just the body style lol
So NOT Mac Compatible... Guess its a hard NO for us... We love MOFO stuff over here at the Hangar, however we are 100% Mac based. This makes the Furitek an EASY choice. With its bluetooth and FuriCar App.

What esc settings do you run for your TBx?
So helpful to see how the programming works, that was my biggest hold up
Same here. Glad that was shown
I've got two of these, definitely brings to life every motor it's hooked to brushless or brushed

The king at micro reviews showing us why yet again. Great Video Adam, wicked setup and lately digging the mofo stuff myself 😎. 2FM RC shirt sweet
The radio electronics is the reason for the jumping, put a different radio in it that you know is smooth.

Will there be a local weekend seminar on how to program 🤔 lol hey can you use a cell phone to program I don't have a computer?

I am very curious to see a side by side of the Dinky and RockWolf, like to see how they stack against one another.
Bro just a couple days ago you only had 79000 something and now you're at 81 you're growing like crazy
I had some shorts go viral and had a huge spike of growth last month. It was wild
Got to be Bluetooth for me, don't want that hassle. I'm sure they will in the future. But probably with a price too.

Great video! Really love the articulation you get out of this bronco! Almost ready to shelf the fms c-10 and get a traxxas! Haha just kidding!
After flashing the new firmware have to klick on Load Default settings and then power cycle the ESC

Does the software run on MAC too or does it require Windows?
My question is can i run this esc with V1 remote? Id be using this w v1 remote and injora purple motor
Yes you can. It will plug into CH2 of your receiver
Another interesting video. Thank you.👍
Do you know if moforc ships overseas (to Europe) ?
Can't find the info on their website. 😇
Im in the UK and they have delivered to me a few times with no problems mate 🇬🇧
@@keithbutler6361 Thank you !👍

I would suggest emailing Nick at Mofo directly. I don’t think there are any additional instructions yet
@@CapeCrawlers I have sent an email earlier on today , I was just wondering if there was any videos around to get me sorted , thanks mate 🇬🇧
Can’t wait for a non furitek esc!!
Finally right lol I’m super pumped to match it up with the rop!!
What is the pinion size on that motor the brushed motor
11t
Do I need to purchase a receiver to use this
Depends what model truck you use. The newer v3 electronics on the scx24 can work with this, so can the v1
@@CapeCrawlers power wagon which I assume is the newest with the spectrum electronics
I took my controller apart and added stiffer springs. Helps with hard starts.

Yeah awesome Adam, Nick named it after my good friend Jim rock Wolf
YESSSSSSSSS!! Thank you !!
Ya, the brushed settings are jumpy.
Can you fit a high-turn 360 motor in there?

Man, if anything, you sold me on a brushless motor upgrade 😅
Why not show how you fixed it after it didn’t connect instead of cutting video then starting again after issue was fixed.
I can’t get it to connect to esc.
I did. I had to connect the entire system: motor, battery, esc and then plug it into the programmer
Yeah I still can’t get it to connect I’m at a loss not sure what the issue is. Wasn’t sure if you had to do anything and wasn’t in video thanks
Any luck? I'm having the same issue as you.@@dustinbowman9362
@@dustinbowman9362did you ever get it to connect? Mine is connected just like in the video, YET IT WONT CONNECT TO ESC.

What would be your top 4 rtr mini crawlers for a mix of trail and crawl
AM32 rocks🤘 but 60 bucks for that thing is quite steep😎
