@@samkaur4098 Loved them….was young (ish) and just didn’t know! My dad taught me about the earlier musical era……don’t worry, I’ve seen the light hahaha 🤪
Coming back to the songs after 30+ years, it’s electrifying to hear how brilliant he really was. In those days, what you sang in the mic was what went on the record… these guys made perfection sound easy. Garry Frost is a massively underrated musical genius. The guitar in this is unreal.
"...Ish", the album is, and remains, one of the BEST Aussie albums ever friggin' made. These guys just ROCK'D! And they always will. Bring back this classic Aussie Gold. And that whole era!
3,772 PEOPLE WITH REAL GOOD TASTE FOR THE 80'S MUSIC! I NEVER LET BILLBOARD TO TELL ME WHAT SONGS I SHOULD HEAR! This song is more than a HIT! Is a MASTERPIECE........ Well done 1927!
Why do Communists have to be so sneaky? Why can't they say, "Here's Communism, and here's a list of reasons why it's great." No, it's always Gulags, and mind control, and poisonings, and espionage, and they wonder why nobody wants to join up? 🤷♂️
This song and video got me through high school with so much joy. Even my Mum recalls this video played to death!. Killer song and thank you for the “standing on a corner” outfit 👓 🧥 💪 x 😁💜
Glad I could bring this amazing band to you guys, I used to have it blasting in the car every Friday night when I would drive to the country before both of my parents passed away, It was the most amazing time and I'll never forget the memories it gives me...............
Brilliant band who should have been much bigger over here in England. I still play their tunes. Had an Aussie gf at the time who introduced me to them. Very talented guys👍
Radio 1 played That's When I Think Of You a few times but it did not chart. I bought the album on cassette in 1989 in the and thought it was fantastic. I still do. The second album has some good tracks too. Tell Me A Story and Don't Forget Me were strong singles but never had much chance of success in Britain. Their sound would have gone down very well in America-they should have been a success there.
So many comments on most underrated aus band, but people commenting rate them, I say, people that listen to them rate them, and it’s just a shame other people have missed out…so let’s spread the word, im seeing them on legends on the lawn tomorrow, also playing icehouse!!! Bring it!!!
A lot of people have said that this band is the most underrated band in Australia and I totally agree. 1927 could have conquered the world and i put all the blame on them the group members for letting egos get to them and blowing up the group before they became superstars. Make no mistake they would have been superstars, world beaters, but they let the 1 thing thats breaks up 90% of bands get to them, EGO!
They Started out in a Pub ,then Hordern Pavilion ,Festivals ,State Theatre ,Festivals ,and now Ladies and Gentleman at the Bridge Hotel Rozelle a pub gig Brilliant just Brilliant Glad To Be Alive 27.07.24 Thats When I Think Of You +
they were at sutton grange near bendigo australia recently..absolutely awesome...find myself playing them all the time like i did years ago..Great band
These guys are touring g right now ! Doing the east coast of Australia ! Saturday 22/09/2018 at Night Quarter at Helensvale gold coast . I'm going for sure wouldn't miss it . 👍👍👍👍👍👍👍😀😀😀😀😀😀😀
One of the best Aussie bands in the 80s. Brings back those wonderful memories
You'll never know Baby girl. Te quiero siempre.
Not bad for a band designed to sell Communism to the world. Look up the year 1927 in world history.
Shopping at Woollies today and this was playing. Brought back so many good memories.
1927 were an underrated band. They deserve more success than they got.
They got a lot of success. It just didn’t last that long. They were the biggest band in the country for a while there
@@JCStorm76 Yes as I said they deserved more success than they had.
I think they did the job they were paid for.
You earn success not deserve!
From PNG, north of Australia, grew up listening the this...😁
Most...Underrated...Band...EVER...

What a story. Erik on Red Faces. Gary Frost drives from Sydney. Recruits him ... rest is history. 1927 blew us away in 1988.
My all time favourite band. The lead singers voice is just so beautiful. Never get tired of listening to him sing

Eric Wiedeman what a hottie!
Look up the year 1927 in world history on an internet search, it's quite interesting.

Love this - their best track EVER! And thankfully not one that has been thrashed to death on radio.
I agree with you 200%..... But what a great tune this one is nevertheless!
Aus80sRockRadio Totally agree.

One album wonder….but what an album!
I’ll never forget seeing them in Mandurah in 2020 🥰
To this day I'll Never Know! How 1927 weren't at least as big as INXS or even bigger Worldwide ? Should of been Superstars on world stage
The guy who formed / wrote the hits left the band as he doesn't like fame, he also wrote what about me/ moving pictures did same thing, that's why
Glad I could bring this amazing band to you guys, I used to have it blasting in the car every Friday night when I would drive to the country before both of my parents passed away, It was the most amazing time and I'll never forget the memories it gives me...............

Nostalgia at its very finest, but more sad as I want to go back to 1990. This song really takes you back 100%
remembered every time as a teen on road trip, Ish was a must have CD!
Coming to Toowoomba with Psuedo Echo in September!!! Woooooo - fucking - hooooooo :D
Just saw them live last Saturday. 1927 were great, but interestingly Pseudo put on a much better performance - more enthusiasm and energy.
I found the same when I saw them a couple of weeks ago ... I went mainly to see 1927, but Pseudo Echo just blew me away!
