Battery life: 6AA batteries more than 2 weeks of life
Cognysis Sabre:
Battery life: Depends on the mode, depends on if WIFI is enabled up to 71 hours (cognisys-inc.com/learn-how-to...) OR if you connect to a 12V power supply I've been able to get more than 2 weeks at a time.

Great presentation. I’m using both of those triggers and have been happy. Also used the miops with the same conclusion as you. My application much different but at the end of the day same concept.
