SIGHT, starring Greg Kinnear and Terry Chen, follows the true story of Dr. Ming Wang, a Chinese immigrant who defies all odds to become a world-renowned eye surgeon. Drawing upon the grit and determination he gained from a turbulent uprising in his youth, Dr. Wang sets out to restore the sight of a blind orphan.
He developed a way for people to be able to see? And he overcame immigrant adversity and bigotry? Wow, amazing. This made me weep. I'm from an immigrant family and am partially sighted. However, I was born totally blind, and thanks to modern medicine (and several surgeries), I was able to develop vision, so for me, this hits a deep nerve. THANK YOU, Dr Wang. Thank you from the bottom of my ❤

This movie should've gotten more box office. Our whole family went and watch it, it was touching. Love to Angel Studios for making films that we need in this day and age.
It was the #1 film from an Independent studio in gross receipts last weekend. The six films that grossed higher were from major and mini-major studios.

I watched this movie at first premier in Vancouver, BC. WOW! So good and very inspiring. The message is so strong, I am so touched and cant stop weeping. I have shared with many of my friends to go watch it too. I think everyone should watch this. And this movie deserves to be more exposed to the public. Thank you for making this movie, Dr wang!

That is not his sister, it was his childhood girlfriend at the time. The CCP would had taken her away to another state in China and probably never able to track her down. She could had been killed too by the revolution kids just like what they did to her father.

Ming Wang childhood girlfriend could had been taken away to another state in China. China is really big and back then people don’t have technology to track people. The CCP probably took her away and put her to a different area not at her hometown. Or she could had been forced to join the group and leave the state.
