Your new jingle caught my attention immediately! Made me smile. And then the kicker was the ding at the end. It’s Tinkerbell!! Disney’s Tinkerbell, with her wand, with a star on the end and the glitter trail, giving her approval! BEST THING EVER!!!!

My friend suggested I watch this video. We are both sewers and watercolor painters, so it is perfect for us to try. Well, 2 days later and I am now obsessed with this project. It really was a lot of fun to do. Thank you for giving us instructions and free print outs!

Your tutorial showed up at the perfect time! I followed your instructions and made 4 batches of Christmas cards. I used my gelli plate and printed on the card stock, then added your quilted and painted flower design. The cards were a big hit. Thank you for sharing, your videos always get my creative juices flowing.

So cute! It’s sweatshirt season now and I would love some ideas about turning a sweatshirt into a jacket...maybe with a zipper? Hot flashes are miserable in a regular sweatshirt but I’m cold when I’m not having a hot flash. So the best way for me to wear something warm is to be able to get out of it fast when the heat rises! Thanks for any help you can give 😊
Hi Susan, I have never put a zipper in a sweatshirt, but have opened many up down the front and turned them into jackets or cardigans. I use fun buttons and tabs. Here is my sweatshirt playlist: ruclips.net/video/KMEBz4zoE6s/видео.html

Happy Thanksgiving Julia! I love that you incorporate unexpected media with fabric. Years back I was curious about using water colours with canvas and muslin but everyone I spoke with kept getting hung up on the fact it probably wouldn’t wash. Perhaps not but some things don’t need washing. Such wonderfully playful effects 🥰 Thank you for inspiring new ideas 💞 Nelusha
Hi Nelusha! It's surprising how washable watercolor are on fabric. I have done some testing with it. The watercolor will fade some after repeated washings but it is quite staining. It is so fun to play with! Heat setting and using fabric medium will also increase the washability. Thanks so much for watching! Julia

Don't know what just happened but it sent it too soon.
Anyway like I was saying my son lives just two hours away in Atlanta.
My aunt one hour and a half, our daughter one hour, but it's been so crazy.
My prayer is God will shorten these days of sickness and restlessness.
Praise Him for He is good!!!

PS - I think I will stamp some on muslin and then watercolor it. I have some of the double sided tape. I think the fabric just adds a special touch to the cards. You always come up with the best ideas.

This is one of my favorite things now, Since I have been following you. :). Something I discovered is making my masks with my own painted designs. I know, hopefully we will be done with them sooner than later, however I have embraced the whole thing as best I can. Lovely tutorial.

And now this reminds me I want to try to make my own drawing and try to stitch it. I also have a lightbox and it really is soooo helpful. And I have those Arteza metallic paints on my Amazon wishlist! I'm hoping Santa pays attention! Anyway, thank you for the Thanksgiving wishes and right back at you. Do you physically tear/rip your drop cloth fabric? I’m going to order the one you suggested because I have an old drop cloth and I can’t tear it at all. It must be a heavier weight than what you use. Thanks for all your tutorials and inspiration.
Hi Cheri, Yes I physically rip it. I do have to start the rip with my scissors. I cut it about 2", just enough to get a good grab on it. Hope this helps, Julia
Sorry, Julia, I want to make sure I order the right pen. Is the pen you used to trace come off when ironed? The Pitt pens on Amazon state they are waterproof and don’t come off...I want the ink pen that easily disappears when ironed..

Hi, I did not pre wash the fabric. I usually don't on projects that aren't intended to be washed. The paint seems to do Ok either way. Thanks for watching! Julia
