Yes, credit certainly goes to RasmusP at Race Dept - however you also deserve some, as I came across your video and wouldn't have known about his fix had it not been for you. So big thanks to both of you. You made it easy for us to follow. Great job on this tutorial. Made my aging Logitech run so much better with AC. For anyone that plans to follow this (and I do recommend it) please note that there are additional settings not mentioned in the video, but these are included in the package that you d/l at Race Dept. Not only has this improved the driving greatly, it got me to learn about some of the settings that were foreign to me, so now I can tweak things to my liking.
If you have the content manager option “Ffb tweaks” be sure to turn it off or tweak it correctly, I have a G27 and forgot about that plugin, once I turned off I got instant improvment, looking foward to configure it correctly.
FINALLY BRO I CAN FINALLY DRIFT WITH MY G29, i honestly thought i was just ass, but i can now officially drift after following your steps. YOURE AMAZING BROOO!
i did all the steps up untill you have to extract the 2 files into CFG becouse for me the file isnt a bookcase like for you, and simply dragging the files into CFG it wont show up in LUT's in CM. can you explain how to fix this issue?
It effects how the wheel behaves (how strong it is for each degree of rotation). It sort of makes the wheel have less of a deadzone in the center and the feedback is more progressive and it won't clip if you tune it like it should be.
I mean realistic is a bad way of putting it since the Logitech steering wheels are beginner wheels and don't have a lot of force or feel, but these settings will make the wheel a bit more realistic and provide better feedback (as much as the wheel can anyway). As for drifting, it's all practice really. I can drift with the settings, without, whatever. It's just a matter of getting used to it, but once you know how to drift, you can drift pretty much anything (assuming it's RWD obviously).
To tell you the truth I have no idea, it's some old Logitech from like 10 years ago. It was $20, that's why I got it. Any joystick will do as a handbrake. I can make a tutorial about how to set it up as a handbrake if you're interested.
support.logi.com/hc/en-hk/articles/360024699674--Downloads-G27-Racing-Wheel Find it under Windows 10. But this is for G27, don't know if it'll work for G29.
Not too sure as I haven't used G HUB, but I think it should be under settings somewhere (look for devices and select Wheel). Don't worry too much about it though, if you haven't changed anything it should be default anyway. Plus I think G HUB has less things you can change anyway.
If you mean things like body roll and suspension, this is just the mod, it depends on the car and the tune you do in game. You can't really change car behaviour from the manager.
@@alwaysonboost I meant that when the car flies sideways, the image behind the car is stiff too, but I saw that the car after entering drift simply flies sideways, and in my case the camera from behind the car is stiff, which looks very unnatural,
@@alwaysonboost ok, thank you, but that's not the point, after installing assetto c, I just download anywhere and any car and I see the car all this car does not move in relation to the image, just to visualize it, it looks as if the camera was from car combined and not like that if the car flies sideways, you can see it
@@kd.driver Yeah, and that's why you need to install this camera mod which will make it fluid and not fixed with the car all the time. It's all there in the video.
Здравствуйте! В чём секрет вождения? Стабилизация на 100? У меня не получается Вообще если стабилизацию выставляешь на 0, руль болтает туда сюда, сразу разворачивает машину. Расскажите пожалуйста что нужно сделать?
This is all I have done, as shown in the video. I suggest resetting the wheel to default or uninstalling and installing the software again, then try this.
What did you change? If all you did was change what I did, you can just disable the LUT and make the steering wheel mode to GAMMA in Content Manager, it'll reset to stock. Your wheel shouldn't shudder because of these settings tho, I've never seen that happen. Try other cars/tracks.
@@alwaysonboost yeah I have the issue where when the wheel is Center there’s no feed back untill I turn the wheel to a certain point makes it kinda tricky to drive
So for the Ghub you won't have a global device setting tab, but I think you'll have the same options if you select the steering wheel device, and then go into Steering Wheel. You'll see sensitivity, centering spring strength, etc., basically most of the same settings. You can always download the profiler but I'm not sure how they would react together. Regardless, you can leave it stock and just do the LUTs as recommended in the video, you'll get pretty much the same result since the stock defaults are the same, the only thing I really recommend doing is disabling the center spring.
The tracks are named in the timestamp for the video, but the one in the intro is VIR (Virginia International Raceway), the one in the outro is VDC Wall Stadium NJ and Ebisu Kita. The car is ACDFR Ford Mustang RTR (rev 2.0) as part of the ACDFR car pack 2022.
It's impossible for this to break your wheel. You can always just click reset to defaults. This setting literally does nothing more than change how and when the wheel delivers force feedback. It doesn't make it stronger (even if you wanted it to, it can't), on the contrary, it prevents clipping and making the feedback more consistent with less clipping (hitting max force and losing feel).

For G923 you have beta lut files on page 24/25 (i dont remember, but something like this) of link in the description ofc
Good to know, I wasn't aware of that!
finally a good seting thx bro!!!
Wow what a very nice drift @ the end I really like it, looks you are a pro drifter 🎉. More drift vids please 😍

That was the only thing I couldn't adjust to good feedback
You liking the new settings?
@alwaysonboost absolutely 🔥
What does lut affect in game ffb?? Does it make better ffb or what? What is the difference?
It effects how the wheel behaves (how strong it is for each degree of rotation). It sort of makes the wheel have less of a deadzone in the center and the feedback is more progressive and it won't clip if you tune it like it should be.
@@alwaysonboost thanks for the reply
this setting works great my g920 wobbles when im not even moving any fix for this?
Just reset to default if you don't like it or try some of the other LUT files.
Is this good for anything ? Or just drift
goodday sir can you tell what monitor brand u use here in this video and resolution. thank you.
Sure thing. Monitor is LG 32GN600-B. It's a 32 inch monitor, resolution is 2560x1440p and it's 165Hz. Hope that helps!

Is this steering setting still realistic or does it just helps you get better drifts ?

what kind of improvement in the manager corresponds to the fact that the car rocks and is not rigid, I am a beginner

how do these settings do with vdc cars
Great! Obviously, the VDC cars are difficult to drive as it is, but these are the same settings I used to compete in the VDC a few years ago.
What is ingame ffb?
It's show in the video, for the recommended LUT you use 50-60% and 100% for the other ones.

You should already have it in that folder, there's no need to create a new one. Just edit the old one.
