- Been holding these headers for a while. It just took some time to get them sandblasted and coated. But once they were in my possession I then lagged on installing them. However, with a show coming up soon I decided it was time. I really am satisfied with these ISR headers, from the fitment that was perfect. As well as the sound.

I am glad I didn’t have to do anything crazy. Install was a breeze once I was able to get the header off the driver side.
The Z sounds good. I have those on my G. The fitment is amazing on them, they line up perfectly, have great clearance. Even if someone had to temporarily use a stock Y pipe they would still fit. The make power and sound good. Nice vid bruh, go back the track and run 12s now 👍🏾

Hey man, I got a similar setup. I have isr long tube headers and AMS y pipe with a Tomei catback. I would recommend the Tomei cb if you want more power, sound and flames. It really wake up the Z’s
H used to have a tomei but he swaped it with a z1 single exit i belieave, tomeis just sound too raspy and shitty my opinion
Yeah I had a Tomei already. Got my car reffed and it was just too much. It sounds great but wasn’t for me. I like that mine isn’t pound until you want it to be. But loud enough to keep getting me in trouble😂

Thanks bro. I deleted my OEM hood latch when I got hood pins and I made that panel to divert air and like you said to hood my tools. I love that it’s flat I don’t worry about it falling in the hole

Rlly want to pick on up to drift n theres a 2005 350z 6spd near me i talked him down to 4k. Idk if its better to look for an hr or just still with a de? How much did u pick urs up for if u dont mind me asking theres an hr for sale near me n bro wants 7500 lmao
The next build we will announce was specifically just for drifting and we ended up going DE. So if that’s your entry level go for it. I just wanted the best there was for the Z chassis. To me it was worth it. But for a beater drift car. 100% DE

Do you need a tune when installing headers ?
Would definitely recommend. Seems pretty pointless to do all this work and not try to get the power gains.

Damn I thought isr long tube headers was only for DE
If you get the DE version you can just swap the studs to be where they are for the DE. They are interchangeable.

Idle is pretty normal it just acts up sometimes on a cold start.
Done a few mods and haven’t gotten returned but it’s all good

It’s just a ceramic coating. I had mine sprayed with air drying coating. Most people use the stuff that has to be cooked but that requires more equipment. Just got to find yourself someone who can do that.

Did you torque the bolts?
No need to. Just hand tightened them. And they been solid since.
Can’t get a torque wrench in some areas and I didn’t feel like struggling but hand tight is fine. Ive never had any leaks this way.
@@tuned_tunas Hand tighten header bolts? You always have to torque headers. The car sounds like it has an exhaust leak.
No exhaust leak my boy. You would hear it and it would be giving out codes. Or running rough. If you need to torque your exhaust nuts to not have a leak by all means my boy. But I’m satisfied with the install. Of course if there’s issues with my install I’ll let y’all know.

I already got a big ass ISR resonator. Don’t need the car to be any more quiet.
Longtube actually aren't better than short tube on the 350z HR and maybe breaks even with the DE. It has to do with the backflow and not being able to tune it properly.
If you go turbo you want shorties. No long tubes, you're losing potential power and might as well not go with a turbo.
This car on this set up definitely made more power then before. Datalogs prove it as well. Never got it dialed in with a proper tune but there was room on the table with long tubes. Wouldn’t say it’s a waste at all
Even if it makes only slightly more power - it helps alleviate stress on the exhaust part of the heads. Basically you get much better life out of the engine with long tubes….
@07wrxtr1 it potentially has detrimental results to the engine because of the back pressure. Long tubes aren't relieving stress. The majority of the time, yes but for other vehicles. The HR is in some long term danger with long tube. This info comes from the top engineers with Nissan and 3rd party tested and confirmed with top racing engineers.

It's clearly a dirt driveway with multiple cars driving by. Unless you gone come out here and wash it for me for every video (which we sometimes shoot more then 1 in a day) then I don't want to hear it. This ain't your car.
