      Elisha Long I have avoided my body type due to the negative attention that I received from men I am now 61 years old I’m willing to allow my body to form to its natural beauty it’s still difficult for me but I must be brave and have that experience before I pass on to know that I was as healthy as I possibly could be the one thing that everyone says to me is that I’m sexy.

      The biggest takeaway from Arnold is genetics. That guy worked out 4 hours with monster weights, worked in construction, took late night acting classes, had a social life and slept only 6 hours. For 99.99% of men that would result in injury either mechanical, or caused by massive oxidative stress, or exhaustion to a point you collapse and wake up in the hospital. The key isn't vision or hard work, it's having Greek God genetics.

      MrZapparin If you read the comments, he was defending Arnold being smart (which was fine until...), saying that he was a millionaire which apparently by being rich, you're smart, even though there are rich people who spent it all and end up being broke, hence not being wise with their wealth. Get it now?

    • @neverforgettodofacepulls782
      @neverforgettodofacepulls782 6 лет назад +6

      "You dont need adequate sleep to recover and grow"
      I know he meant that lack of time is not an excuse to skip the gym, but unless you're on a cycle you need adequate sleep to see any form of gains. His words are a little misleading in that sense because going to the gym and repping your heart out is the easy part. You could work yourself for 9 hours a day in there and see no gaims because dedicating time to your sleep and nutrition is where most people fall short.

      By doing calisthenics you not only get in shape but you are also able to impressive athletic feats if you keep at it, you have dips, handstands, push ups and its millions of variations for push day, chin ups/pull ups, inverted rows and if you want to isolate biceps then do concentration curls by filling up a sturdy bucket with water/dirt(you can also do rows and shrugs with them) depending on your level for pull day and there are like a ton of exercises for leg day, leg exercises are in abundance with bodyweight, finding these ways is a good way to start training/not get demotivated till gyms reopen, has worked for me so far and gyms are probably opening pretty soon so I'm excited to see how I'll perform in the gym.

    12:06 completely blew my mind! What he is describing is one very important aspect of qi gong training! To put the mind 100% concentrated on the body part your are working on. When you have confluence with Arold Schwarzenegger's training and a more than 4000 hundreds years old training method, you know it's a very important point! Thank you Arnold!

      +capoman1 Dorian was definitely the closest anyone has come to achieving the same level of aesthetic appeal, symmetry, athleticism, and total body development as Arnold. He even had somewhat similar proportions, but what really set Arnold apart was the dramatic curves and outstanding proportions from his waist to his chest and arms, and his hips to his thighs. 29 inch waist, 57 inch chest, 22 inch arms. Simply outstanding.

    Arnold's range of motion was always extensive, he seemed to have Herculean rotator cuffs because I never heard of an injury. His flies and behind the neck presses would wreck a mere mortal for sure. It definitely contributed to his athletic musculature that makes this era of bodybuilding the most appealing to the mainstream.

    • @slumped9677
      @slumped9677 2 года назад

      100% I think his muscle insertions contribute towards this. Don’t ask me how I just notice guys with long full insertions get away with more (most of the time) dumbbell flies are a pretty flawed movement when compared with Machine or cable flies but Arnold had the genetics and belief that they were a superior exercise which is all you need sometimes.

    Part of what made Arnold impressive was how his ability to sculpt his proportions made him look more massive than he was. Beautiful proportions. You got guys like Big Ramy now, who is one giant specimen and outweighs arnold by 75 pounds or more. Yes I know all bodybuilders bust their asses to be built like that, but lifting something heavy isn't nearly as talented as making a perfect human body sculpture out of yourself.Just like clay, you have to take AWAY in some areas rather than add on to create beauty in the human form. These guys today don't ever shave their sculptures down where they need to, it's all about freakish mass. Don't get me wrong, there are guys out there competing who're great, but you'll never see them taking an olympia win home until these judges pull their heads out of their asses. Ronnie Colemans body is absolutely wrecked from how he trained, and I feel bad for him. Arnolds almost 20 years older and gets around way easier than big Ron.

    today bodybuilders just have huge bubble guts which looks bad, back in the day they looked more aesthetic which is better than just being the biggest monster like nowadays. Arnold Schwarzenegger looked like a God in his Prime days and had no bubble gut which is why hes the best bodybuilder!

      Not all bodybuilders have buble guts , look into classic physique , not a single gut
