Nice haul Shannon! I agree that the Severin’s are underrated! Not a lot of talk about the brother and sister! Their work is fantastic! Cool that you’re playing with a band! Would love to hear you jam one day!

Tony! Great to hear from you ! There are so MANY great artists that you don’t hear much about and the Severins are among them .

Hya Shannon! Man I am so slow these days, LOL. More snow this morning, and more coming Sunday, BLECK! The Severin's, greatest brother/sister team since Johnny and Susan Storm, LOL. Been picking up a lot of Charltan's lately, thanks to you and Rod. Picked up those time Tunnels a few weeks ago, cool!

Heya Tom! You can have ALL that snow brother! Lol There are so many great artists that are overlooked and the Severin’s are at the top part of that list. Those Charltons are fun books, right? Time Tunnel has been on my list for a while and looking to pull the trigger on #2. Thanks for stopping by !

Don't leave me in suspense ... What songs do you have to learn??? That Herbie looks awesome 😍😍😍 Kull 😍😍😍 Great books Shannon. I've been stashing "ratty" comics for awhile, I'm going to try and make a hand bound book out of them ... Just showing love to the books most people would throw away. Great books Shannon, thanks for sharing 🫡

Hey buddy .. there’s a lot of great 90’s country on the list including Garth, George Straight, Alan Jackson, Clint Black, Tracy Lawrence..etc..Having the ratty books in hard bound is a great idea! Never thought of that ! Thanks for watching Easy!😊

That's one fine haul Shannon! I remember exactly where I first saw Micronauts #7. It was a small convenience store, now closed. I spotted the awesome Michael Golden cover on the spinner rack, and no other comics existed. I was in high school and had just gone back to collecting comics after meeting my best friend. That friend had brought me to my first comic book shop. I never knew such things existed before! I was heavily into science fiction at the time, and pretty much stayed away from super-heroes at this point. I was collecting mostly Marvel with a sci-fi angle: Star Wars, Battlestar Galactica, Shogun Warriors, Godzilla, Rom... I don't think I knew who Man-Thing was, but he sure looked cool on that cover! In fact, since then, I've always thought that any cover with Man-Thing on it, ups the cool factor a few hundred notches.

Hey Ranger ! I remember going to my first comic shop.. I couldn’t believe everything in there was either comic books or comic-related! 😮 Man-Thing has always been a favorite of mine, so any cover with him on it really grabs me! Thanks for watching buddy!

😎🎶Music to our ears Brother Shannon hearing that you got a gig so you can gig back to getting more books! Like with Neal's run on Superboy John Severin's run on Sgt Fury was a regular read for me. I got interested in the Howling Commandos series following Nick's Strange Tales adventures when he got his own Agent of S.H.I.E.L.D. title ; The Man From U.N.C.L.E. and Batman were tied for my #1 favorite TV shows so Nick's Spy adventures caught my attention. Another worthwhile UFO book is Gold Keys 1970s UFO Flying Saucers series. Welcome Brother to the Herbie ( Popnecker ; not to be confused with Disney's Love Bug) Habitation , Ogden Whitney's Silver Age legacy. If one notices along with Herbie others have donned similar heroic apparel such as Red Tornado ( Ma Hunkle) , Koppy McFadden who was Street & Smith's Supersnipe , Disney's Super Goof , Irving Forbush and more than likely others we have yet to discover.

Brother Anthony! Music is my other passion and it helps support my comic addiction! 😁 I’ve said before on occasion how the Severins are really underrated and underappreciated along with a lot of other great artists. I loved getting the Herbie book.. Lots of fun stuff in there.
Appreciate you supporting my humble channel my friend 😊

On Rod's live unboxing yesterday afternoon, I asked him if he ever watched The Time Tunnel or Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea. That was a dumb question on my part 😂.
That issue of Time Tunnel is going on my want list. I am watching the first and only season right now. Love it.

Hello, Shannon. Wow 57 songs in a month, I don't know if you are familiar with any Trombonists, Dave Taylor is my Uncle, he's a famous Trombonist. Cool, JSA#7 cover, looks like Grundy in the back. Fantastic, Sgt. Fury & His Howling Commandos#74 cover. Fantastic, Micronauts#7 cover, I liked Man Thing in that Werewolf by Night show, looked like him, thought the show was good. Fantastic, Space Adventures UFO cover. Fantastic, Mystery Comics Digest/Ripleys Believe it or Not cover, Graphic Man showed this book in his new video yesterday. Fantastic, Superman#181 cover. Cool, Herbie#18 cover, I never heard of Herbie, until our friends started showing them. Fantastic, Kull & The Barbarians#1 cover, a who's who of great comic creators on this book. Fantastic, Time Tunnel#1 cover, great show. Sorry for the long comments.

Hey Michael. I HAVE heard of your uncle ! If I remember right ( and correct me if I’m wrong) he played in some high profile projects including playing at Carnegie and playing with one of my bass heroes Jaco Pastorious , Mingus, Blood Sweat and Tears and the Stones. That’s awesome! I’m a bonafide comic geek but you get me talking about musicians and I’m just as bad! 😂 Glad you liked the haul.. A lot of those have been in my wish list for a while.. Thanks always for coming by!

I'm not sure about Jaco Pastorios, Blood Sweat & Tears & Stones, but wouldn't be surprised if he did, he has played with alot of famous people, I think he played with Sinatra, unfortunately only went to one of his concerts many years ago, he was in Streisands orchestra. I think he was in the orchestra for the original Star Wars movie, his name is in the music credits on the original soundtrack album. Yeah Carnegie, he has played in many famous venues around the world, I think he Graduated from Juilliard. I think he has been playing since the 60's, maybe before. He is very well respected in the music world & by critics. He doesn't live too far from me in Manhattan. If you are interested he has a youtube channel, just search David Taylor Trombonist, if you're interested.
