Does it work if the sweater was not shrunk, but you just bought too small? Also what kind of conditioner is best?
Stretching it is logical, but what is the science behind putting conditioner on, since it doesn't have a decontamination function? It would have been great if you had explained the use of conditioner. 🥂
Softens the fibers to make it more maleable.

I tried this trick on a merino sweather my husband accidently washed in the machine machine. It did not work :( When I pulled to make it longer, it got smaller at the side, when I pulled the side to make the sweather larger, it got shorter.. tried for about an hour and gave up. 150$ sweather ended up in the trash

FireArt_ 45 it works with cotton, i tried it on my hoodie, supposedly the conditioner loosens the fabric then you can stretch it and when it dries the fabric tightens back up

Will white shirts get stained?
Hi Chuck! not at all. The conditioner only smooths the threads of your piece of cloth and thats it. It will not cause any damages to your white shirts. Have a happy day 😎

wxstonio 24 yes but if it didn’t fit you and was shrunk it just the way you bought it, it will work but the hoodie wont last as long cause your stretching the threads which makes it weak tried that before 🤣

Hi! Yes there are some fabrics like 100% polyester who are really difficult to enlarge because it doesn't have this properties.

Denim is a sturdy and stiff fabric. It may not stretch as much but will not ruin its color and fabric.
