This is what I call living the dream life
I use Google maps on my mobile phone and save the map of the area I'm travelling, so the navigation still works with no service.
I don't know what program you use for navigation, but check to see if you can save your maps.
My 2009 Pontiac Montana minivan has a 25 gal. tank, so it costs almost $100 to fill when almost empty, but at least Monty gets decent gas mileage.

Such a wholesome video :) im travelling next year in a van around aus and i also have a pooch how do you find travelling with a dog is it difficult? i read that dogs arent allowed practically in any national parks so how do you about this? Thanks :D
Thanks Kelly! I'm so excited for you 😊 it can be tough at times with the national parks. We just used an app called Mad Paws for the first time while we explored some NP's and have had a great experience! So this is always an option or book an accom for your pet while you go explore. I nearly hit a wombat two nights ago and then the next day when I went into town for supplies I saw a dead wombat on the road. Poor thing. There's lot's of wildlife in Belanglo, NSW
