My wife went with the iPhone 12 Pro Max. I inherited her note 20 ultra after having a iPhone XR for nearly 3 years. This thing is amazing!
Something to be said when Samsungs year old device is STILL better than Apples newest......
Unfortunately it isn‘t. The iPhone is technically way faster and better. The only advantage the Note has is the S-Pen. In case of performance and cam system it wipes the floor with the Note.
Well no based off of raw power, and fps the iPhone is way more powerful.
I think Apple should rethink the design of their phones. They look very dated. The Samsung Note Ultra 20 is a year older yet looks like it's from the future. It makes the Pro Max 13 look old and unprofessional. Samsung has more themes too and can be completely personalized. Oh and that integrated pen is quite a plus.
So so true! I cannot bring myself to spend on the iPhone 13.

What about the S-pen?! To me the most important Note feature. Also, nobody chooses lightning over USB-C. That check should have gone to the Note 20 Ultra.

@@lashonday.wright8955 I don't recommend anything. I was simply mentioning a missed feature that separates the Note when compared to other phones that are out there.
Note Ultra 20 is the best looking phone ever made. The display is so sleek. The display is so sharp. The brightness is levels above all competition. It's got the integrated pen. It's perforance overall can still keep up and even surpass flagships of 2021 and beyond.
But, unfortunately not in front camera and battery :( I got very much disappointed. I have Note 20 Ultra 5G (I am Note Fan). But this time they even didn't release Note 21. They Directly jumped to S22. :(
Note 20 Ultra Front camera is only 10MP 😖😫😠. I have J7 pro which is average smartphone and it has a 13 MP front camera. So. Isn't it my front camera got degraded!. And Note 20 Ultra gas only 4500mh battery which very less my J7 pro have 3600mh battery. I mean come on Samsung at least we need 5500 to 6000mh because it's such big smartphone. And we are pay too much. So it should worth. But it doesn't seem to me. :(.
You forgot the stylus on the Note 20 with all of its functions. Like remote picture taking, screen write, capture (copy/paste) by outlining what you want, etc.

Great content. The note20 ultra is a year old and still stands up to apples newest and best. There's a couple more things you forgot. 1) always on display. 2) reverse power share. I just traded my note10+ for the note20 ultra. And love it. And one more thing, the note has the inter body styles.
@@MissleT0E yes I have the snapdragon. With constant use I'm getting a good 13 hour's and on screen time is 9.5 hours. Not bad for me since From when I wake up until I go to bed I'm on my phone.

It's not a good idea judging things you've never had. I switched from Samsung and Huawei to Apple and know what I'm talking about. You would be shocked how smooth animations on the iPhones are

I've had every note since note 5. And I've been using note 20 ultra since it was released and I can honestly say I don't know how a phone can get any better than this. I don't have the desire to upgrade to any other device and I don't even use it with its max screen settings or any of that 🤔

HOLY MOLY this was a great video!! Man thanks so much. I was on the fence about which one to buy and honestly being the nerd that I am, I had to choose the Note Ultra. Hardware wise, it seems like the iPhone 13 has a slight advantage but not so much that I think it's going to make an actual difference and plus one thing you forgot was the Note 20 Ultra has a stylus! Thanks so much for the video because you really help me make up my mind.

Spen, expandable memory, bigger and fuller screen display are the main selling point of note 20 ultra over iphone 13 pro max. Plus its a lot cheaper now. Samsung for specs and iphone for flex.
I need both, FaceTime for family, my brothers and mother take there with Iphine, but I like Note 20 Ultra lots
Don't forget that on the apple you have to pay extra if you want a charger vs the note 20 that comes with a charger
The advantages of iphone is realibility, consistency, optimized applications and premium quality in software and hardware built. Most complaints are ugly notch, no finger print ID, lacks freedom for customization and the hardware is lower than android phones.

I loved my note 20 ultra but battery life wasn't too good , forget about 120h display that drains battery even faster . That's the only problem with it ! Just ordered the Pro max for the great battery life .
Iphones are not known for having better battery life, like ever in the history of smartphones. Even my Note 10+ battery lasts a day and a half, so if you were having battery life problems with your 20 ultra, it is because of your settings or possibly downloading 3rd party apps that drain your battery. Luckily, Samsung has settings to put those apps to sleep automatically. There's another possibility that you are just an Apple fanboi and never had the Note 20 Ultra and are trolling. A 3rd possibility, you didn't have the Ultra and didn't know there's a huge difference between the entry level Samsungs and the highest level ones. Ultra has larger battery as well as more ram and more storage than the regular Note 20.
@@Chrisnuzzo76 yes iphones have never been known for battery until now . My iPhone 13 pro max last 3 days . Don't get me wrong I think the screen is better on my note 20 ultra and my note supports all the top Bluetooth codes such as ldac
My new iPhone only supports apples crappy aac so now my headphones don't sound nearly as good and so I'm going to have to buy a portable dac .
I've owned every note ever released but my note is the uk version with the less power efficient exynos processor . I do have everything turned off that drains power and have power saving always turned on . And I have things turned off in developer options in system services. But my battery health is now %92 and needs to be charged twice daily .
In comparison my mother's iphone 11 is 12 month old and battery health is still %100 but she doesn't use a phone as much as I do
I'm more of a Samsung /android fan boy but the battery just doesn't last for me . Go see all the iPhone 13 pro max battery test videos ,the iPhone beats them all . But I still prefer my note because that's what I'm used to and I don't like change plus carrying a powerbank around all the time.
@@pollyaloy look into bixby routines for your galaxy note 20 ultra. You can disable the 120hz option and setup resolution settings to save battery life. A quick video on RUclips will help you tremendously
Apple's 120 Hz ProMotion display doesn't drain your battery life. The 13 Pro Max has an amazing battery life and wipes the floor with Samsungs S20/S21 series.
Just turn off 120 hz .don't get a knew phone you downgrading
The Note 8 and iPhone X were released 2017. In 2021, the Note 20 Ultra looks modern and a sizeable evolution from the Note 8 but is a year old, while the iPhone 13 just released is an iPhone X with an extra camera. The laziness at Apple is incredible.

I've been saying this for years. Apple isn't lazy. They are smart. They release incremental upgrades. A few new features a year so people buy a new phone every year. They are milking apple customers for every penny.
Yep! I'm rocking 1.5TB between the internal and expandable memory in my Note 20 Ultra and if I need more storage I just buy another micro SD card and I'm off to the races. I hear the iPhone is top notch though and I can actually see it. 😉

Have the Note 20 Ultra and my wife just got the iphone 13 Pro Max. Love my Note, but the iphone is impressive. Really like the s-pen on the note, but really hate the beveled screen. The s-pen sucks on the bevel when trying to do a Smart Select and the bevel also makes it tough for a screen protector to stay on for a long time. Good News: Samsung is moving away from the beveled edge. Bad News: Samsung is moving away from the s-pen. Has me thinking of switching with some of the trade-in credit deals offered right now...
I have Note 20 Ultra 512gb snapdragon 12 gb ram. but when it comes to Ram and Battery life iphone 13 max lasts longer and performs better because of its sowtware optimization .

Those guys tell you everything to praise their beloved branding. Mostly they are telling stories. Go, look for serious tech RUclipsrs doing real comparisons and decide for yourself.
My only reason for even considering trading in my Samsung Note 10+ for an iPhone is that Apple Carplay looks better than Android Auto. I like how Apple has a split screen with your GPS map on one side and music on the other. Annoying that on GPS the map takes up the whole screen and my music controls become a small border with pause/play, next song (and so on), as just a few buttons and I can't see folder or song details without switching back to full screen music. I'd guess that's because Apple is proprietary and it's easier for the auto manufacturers to program their infotainment system for it, rather than having to be compatible with many different phone manufacturers for Android Auto. Other than that, it will be very hard for me to go backwards and get an Apple device that is always a year or more behind Samsung's flagship phones. Like how Apple users were all excited to get wireless charging about a year and a half ago, while Samsung had it on their Galaxy S6 way back in the beginning of 2015... 5 years before Apple... Ouch... 🤕
Buddy these problems can be fixed with the bixby app on the note. RUclips bixby routines. There are also tutorial videos on how to run split screen applications on the note and even save particular setups in the quick menu for convenience
Why I have a feeling on the performance it was nudge for Apple? I know a few people that gave up there apple for the note 20 including a guy at the cellphone place he gave up his 13 pro for the 20

For camera, i like when we dont have to use timer to take a picture. Just use you S Pen.. you dont have to go back and forth like iphone to set the timer 😅
BUT.. What makes me think to change my samsung note 20 ultra to iphone is because iphone works perfectly in every applications.
Sometimes there are several appliaction that are not compatible with Samsung, example: tiktok, I cant duet sing a song because after the result, my voice was delayed. The movement also delayed.
Whatsapp: try to take a picture directly in whatsapp application, I took the angle perfect at the center, but the result it moved a little bit to left..
But no matter what I love Samsung and Samsung is very comfortable to use. I hope they will fixed the issues :)
I have the iPhone 13 pro max in white 128gb and did an unboxing video on my channel! Absolutely love this phone. I also did a Spigen clear glitter case unboxing and try on, this is a great case if anyone is wanting a clear but slimming case for the 13 pro max. Love this phone!!!!!

Just sold my note to buy the iPhone 13 pro Max, note in Netherlands with exynoss is horrible to use after I came from a OnePlus. FPS drop, heat, fast battery drain etc

I just traded my galaxy note 20 ultra for the iPhone 13 pro max. After 10+ years of using android, i decided to switch back to apple because my whole family has iPhones and Facetiming through 3rd party apps is not that great. So we'll see how it goes once i get it!
Please let me know when you get it because I've also been with Samsung for 10+ years because they've always produced the better hardware but I'm falling in love with apple through the XS Max and want the 13 Pro max but feel like I'd regret "downgrading" to the 13 Pro Max...

Note phones are the only android phones ill use. I always used iphones but switched to a note phone for a little just to not fully get tired of iphones but after using the note phones for a while, I noticed iphones are mad boring and don't really offer many features. I jailbroke my 11 and noticed thats the only way ill ever use an iphone again is if its jailbroken cause you can download tweaks that androids been having already....another thing, why isn't the apple pen supported on iphones???

Quick story. Im always been an IOS user. Its just that when note 20U was released, it tempted me, and yes, this is a BEAST not complaint.

I totally agree with everyone that this is a great comparison video. I've always been an Android user and love my Note S20 Ultra, but I bought a MacBook Pro and thought, why not try the iPhone too? The feel and responsiveness of an iPhone has always intrigued me. As a Graphic Designer, I thought I would have been team Apple a long time ago, but Samsung has always had the edge for me. It's going to be tough to beat my Note, but I really feel these exact versions are so good, that it's really going to be user preference. I don't think you can go wrong with either. I will check back on my thoughts!

I have note 20 ultra. Only reason I'm considering making the switch is the fact the note will no longer be released. I recently got a iPhone 8 plus free from roommate and have just been fooling around with it. Of course spec wise doesn't compare to my note 20 ultra, but it's just a different experience.. might trade N20U for iPhone 13max pro
This is the same for me only my friend gave me the XS Max. I would love to trade my Note 20 Ultra 5G for a 13 Pro Max but I can't justify it because the Note 20 is so much better... but I'm falling in love with apples UI. I've been with Samsung since the S2 and have never been able to leave because they keep producing the best phones... I feel like It would be dumb for me to downgrade...

both are AMAZING devices I have each. I like the iPhone better if you have an Apple Watch, the integration between the watch and phone is seamless and works far better than say a Galaxy Watch 4 and Note 20 which I also have. The sound on iPhone is far better than the Note but the Note has S-pen, better QC and expandable memory so they're both amazing in different categories. I prefer the iPhone 13 when using my apple watch but if not I use the Note 20, prob more than the iPhone 13 Max on a daily basis. Tough decision if shopping and it'll come down to personal preference more than anything. Two superb devices indeed.

Just the 1 TB expansion sdcard alone is enough to bury the iphone, along with every other flagship that shamelessly omitted that feature to force users to buy the higher storage phones at high market prices.
Iphone all day long. I traded my Note 20 ultra for the iphone 12 pro max. Iphone is better at gaming and battery life. No frame drops, no lag and all apps work perfectly. Timely software update even though the note has more features but the ios ecosystem is what makes you feel happier.

Having owned Note's 4, 5, 8, 9, 10 and 20 Ultra 5G, I will never, ever, ever buy another one again. Every damn one of them has cracked from a fall no higher than 3-4 feet and always had a case on it (with the exception of the 5). Latest was the Note 20 Ultra 5G which i was able to make it go an entire year without dropping it--but just a few days ago it fell from my pocket and landed on sidewalk no more than 3 feet drop. Had a Samsung case but no matter. Cracks. Not many cracks, to be honest, but enough where every time I use it now I notice them in the upper right corner.
Love the phone. Beautiful phone. BUT forget what every you have heard about the strength of that glass. It will crack from even the slightest drop if it lands on concrete. And, why, why why does Samsung like the curved glass? For crying out loud it is the stupidest feature. It makes the phone difficult to hold if it's out of a case and impossible to use the pen on the edges. Go back to the flat screen and make some edges that are easy to hold.
So, I'm through with Samsung. Their household appliances have LEDs that won't last and our $3k freezer won't make ice. I do like their TV's, though.
I'm going to go back to iPhone. Last one i had (6S) was very durable. Of course it had a metal back but I did drop that thing a half dozen times without even a scratch.
Maybe use a case if you drop your phone that much. Might help

@@georgionw6554 I had a case on. A Samsung case even. It was fully encased when I dropped it from 3 feet. Guess you didn't read my post completely. NO more Samsung for me. No way no how. Same with kitchen appliances. They make great TVs though.
Upgraded my contract to 13 Pro Max couple weeks back so I own my Note 20 Ultra and 13 Pro Max.
And honestly, I regret getting the iPhone. Besides getting airpod pros, it's just a nice phone with a nice camera (thanks to software)
- feels bulky
- lack of fully functioning widgets is annoying
- hard built power/volume buttons is badly positioned on the iPhone imo
Compared to the last iPhone I owned (6s) I actually don't see or feel any of the newest improvements.
Only plus is that the phones price won't split in half when 14 comes out. Like with the note (released September, newer model came in February soon after which I wish I waited for if I new)
