I’m to the point now that I am an iPhone user and that’s where I plan to stay. I have a Samsung tv and my iPhone connects better than my Samsung smartphone. That says it all
I can attest to this. I just put in an order for an iPhone 13 Pro Max because my Note 20 Ultra lags and acts up every now and then when trying to play videos from RUclips and Spotify. I'm talking 20 s lagging followed by crashes and not playing videos I've clearly downloaded. The one thing I need it to do and it doesn't do it well. I'm sure the culprit is the lack of internal storage since many apps won't allow you to save to a SD card.

I still have my galaxy note 20 ultra, it is beautiful and the customization features are much better than my iPhone 11 pro max. The issues is that the messaging is different than iPhone, the picture and video quality is poor compared to iPhone, but it does not have a notch and doesn't slow down as much over time which the iPhone tends to do.
@Daniel Pacheco not the battery and camera for video. Iphone 13 still better. These 2 are the biggest factors in flagship devices(battery and camera, the only downgrade is iphone doesn't have that zoom camera which is very subjective because some may like it a lot, some may not.

@knocks dread For what I know both chipset variants on the S21U are roughly equivalent. What is really disappointing is the Snapdragon performance. SAMSUNG is producing chips for their own products but Qualcomm is backed by every other Smart Device producer and yet they didn't manage to pull a considerable gap with their own former chipset, let alone being completely SMOKED by Apple silicon. i think speed tests are flawed bc you can go into developer option and reduce the 3 animation scales on any android and it will be faster than iphone. It's usually at 1x standard but you can reduce it to .5 or turn it off completely. When you turn it off, a $200 android phone will open apps faster than this iphone. And no one mentions this in their speed tests.
That is just for getting the app to the placeholder, reducing animation does not make the app load quicker, just to fool you into thinking so. Look at the Netflix app, it seems quicker on Android as it kills the animation when loading, but on iOS it is loading in the background so is quicker to the media. We are only talking about small differences in load ups and the real test of how powerful a phone is at its limit are more demanding stuff like FPS in gaming, editing and rendering, and you will not find a $200 Android phone coming anywhere near the iPhone. You can reduce motion on an iPhone in settings which makes about 0.5 seconds difference per app, so your point is moot and just typical Apple hate.
