I never thought I would enjoy a phone comparison review so much, until I found this video. I love how the video and script was edited that it brings the viewer to engage, to see and understand what the RUclipsr themselves see. It's so impressive how @mrwhosetheboss has really mastered choosing specific images/video that truly put the cameras to the test and in particular, in a comparison video. Thanks for the video. I was expecting you to point out one of the most important parameters of comparing camera qualities which is the "lens flare" issue. If you look in your "video comparison" - between 14:15 and 14:20 time of your video, you'll notice enormous lens flare (several green dots) in iPhone's video - while the other two do not have or is barely visible. New iPhone 12 has a severe lens flare issue in which for many people is the point of decision making, as it could potentially make night time shooting useless! This "physics" (several green dots in night light) is also severe in night-time photos. I believe the cause is the quality of anti-reflective coating used in the lenses!

Watching this on my Note 20 Ultra. I have to agree that it's a great balance! while some do certain modes better, The N20U is a great medium. I take a lot of good outdoor photos and it's a treat.

@@racyJace entirely depends. i use the medium power saving mode mostly and the battery lasts me a good long time. im sure itd last shorter if i maxed out the performance. but since i take precautions like lowering the brightness, closing background apps, and using 60 hz instead of 120, ive kept the battery life more than decent.
@@BigUrp Exynos version here. Its hot garbage. If it didnt have an s pen I would have returned it. That said, its a monster in everything except battery life. Sometimes a went trough almost 2 full charges a day, where in others I have 70% left. I have everything maxed out though, and I have a vpn running 24/7.

Smartphones have gotten so good that really, there’s no real winner. They’re all impressively great in their own way. Love to see how competition makes companies improve their products.
Except there are winners when you break down the shots. This weird view of equalizing everything is so boring and odd. I wouldn't say Samsung has better video than Apple, or that Huawei is as consistent as Samsung, or that Apple produces the same Zoom shots.
This is like going to a track meet and giving every runner 1st place because "None of them are bad runners per say".

To me, though, I hate Apple so I am admittedly biased, but I care much more about photos than videos, and I like high contrast and cold tones so I liked Samsung more (so yes, there are differences, you can compare which phone has the most leading attributes, but in the end there is a big personal preference component)

Just depends of your photography skills
In all honesty, I feel that the Huawei's image processing is more sensible. The way it reduces the exposure on over exposed outside areas and the way it increases the exposure on dark looking faces, that's what we need! We need a camera that can give you a great looking photo right after you click. I'm not someone who sits to edit a photo and makes a plethora of corrections using Photoshop. I like to have a "go to" photo taken from the camera. I think most people are this way and for them, Huawei is really good.

There's even some camera companies who realized that recently, I think it was Zeiss who started experimenting with a dual exposure shutter and sensor, once you press the button the camera takes 2 pictures nano seconds in difference to nail the correct exposure

I have an s21 & while I agree the night mode is not always great I've found that night pics and especially night sky shots can come out really good by switching to pro mode & going with longer exposures. Along with the ois it can give you some nice shots

What sucks about android phones (besides Google). Their manufacturer abandons them when a new model comes out. I had an original pixel xl and my brother got a oneplus 6t mclaren. At first the oneplus had better photos but earlier this year we compared them both and the pixel killed the oneplus. I upgraded to the note 9 but it seemed not even that much of an improvement. I ended up going with a pixel 3xl. Software with Google/Apple is great and they have good update support for their products.

Pictures in low light are not as good as an iPhone, skin tones totally bleached, why u think is better cause it has more higher artificial contrast, nothing that u can’t post edit in the iPhone itself
Night mode, portrait mode and video recording is better in the iPhone, iPhone doesn’t have a beautify mode in the photos, Samsung has more megapixels and sometimes it’s noticeable. In general some phones are better in some aspects than others, pick the one is more balanced out for u, for me it’s an iPhone
