  • Yet another fall Cake 🍁
I had this one working in my mind for quite some time now. I thought I might never get around to making it with the kids going back to school and all but somehow I managed it all 😁
This time I tried adding a few details in the video as well.
The base cake was a 5" vanilla but technically I feel it should have been a 4".
The top cake for the roof was a 6" choc carved into a cone more like a witch's hat shape.
The cake pop mixture is pretty much sponge cake crumbs mixed in chocolate Ganache.
I left the door and windows mold in freezer for a few mins before popping them out.
If you don't have a bark mold for the trunk (base cake) you can use your tool to make dents and shapes on your trunk.
I used crushed Rich tea biscuits for the moss. Colours used were Wilton Moss green, Sugarflair Holly green, Sugarflair Autumn leaf and Sugarflair Melon.
For the dusts I used Sugarflair Brown, Black, White and Silver.

The leaves were made with part gum paste part fondant (50/50). I didn't let them dry fully as I wanted them to take the shape of the roof.
The 'well' is a decorative piece I picked from poundland during the summer.
Hope you enjoyed the video. Any questions please leave them in the comments. This is probably the longest of my videos I've had so far.
