As long as they make water something again remember oblivion and Morrowind were we had entire underwater sections in the land of snow there's no water it's weird man
That would be a really good idea, I think one of the reasons skyrim was such a massive hit was because shouts were introduced into the series, if ES6 had stuff like ocean exploration it would really set it apart from other games. It would also give you a reason to invest in water breathing, and argonians would become a much more interesting race to play
@@Doralga FO 4 has an ocean of cut underwater content. There was supposed to be underwater combat, an underwater vault, bigger role for the sub, potentially a creature large enough to leave those bite marked porpoise corpses

The Aldmeri Dominion quest that included the attack of a sea serpent on the ship you were fighting on was epic. One of the more successful tidbits of ESO in my opinion.
Could be cool a quest on TES6 where we Hunt a mysterious Mythical sea Creature that suddenly appeared and attacking Hammerfall or High Rock major City Port in the middle of the war.
High Rock is based on High-Medieval England, and considering the seafaring culture, I’m sure we’ll get plenty of cool new sea monsters and related quests.
always wondered about this. I expect there will be multible sea creatures/monsters in the upcoming ES6 if the game is set in hammerfell/high rock with maybe a black flag like boating system
I have to correct you about the classification of the mosasaurs that you mentioned when talking about sea drakes. Mosasaurs, along with each and every marine reptile of the Mesozoic Era (along with flying reptiles, pterosaurs, as well) weren't dinosaurs at all. They were composed of several separate groups of reptiles. Mosasaurs specifically were, in fact, lizards. Their terrestrial ancestors followed the same evolutionary path that the ancestors of whales would follow several million years after the K-T extinction event, and the mosasaurs took over the niche that was left by the pliosaurs after they went extinct.
When I was a kid playing Oblivion, I was always super scared going in the ocean or the lakes because the water creatures were always so creepy. Getting the fingleam was so stressful :/ And there wasn't even anything that attacked me haha
Bro your channel is CRIMINALLY underrated, like you make so many well made and thorough videos on well known and really obscure lore and I really enjoy your content. Surprised some of your videos get only a few hundred views since even those are still of high quality and very intriguing
Also it may be possible that the Nibeny Basin may have river dolphines as Dolphines are a „local delicacy“ according to some imperials in imperial cuisine
You always choose the best video topics!! Please keep up the amazing content, my dude! Nothing in the Elder Scrolls universe is too obscure and I love the attention you bring to it all the amazing aspects it has to offer!!!
I remember playing Skyrim for a while and being scared of the water around Winterhold because I swore that there would be a sea monster. I couldn't fight in the water, the water around Winterhold is very deep and very wide, most of the time if you dive down for anything you won't find any chests or loot, everything lined up for a sea monster.
Just discovered your videos, keep it up they are awesome, but I was wondering if you could do a video about the Psijic order as they are such a mysterious facet of the lore!
Hey. I would really like to See a Video about Nahvintaas and the False gods of Sunspire Yolnahkriin and Lokkestiitz. And maybe in General about the Dragons in Elsweyr during the Second Era
That Auk 'Penguin' looks more like Dodos than the actual closest relatives of Dodos. That and something else like a duck. Convergent evolution really favored that beak.

Considering just how many whacky and crazy things exist in the elder scrolls universe theres no telling what kind of oceanic horrors could live on nirn, lots of untapped potential in elder scroll games oceans, it would be cool if you swam too far from the shore you'd get eaten by a sea monster or something.

If elder Scrolls 6 contains both Hammerfell and Highrock, they HAVE to add boats and therefore sea-creatures!

As long as we stay out of the war I'm fine otherwise playing as high elf during the thalmor war against the Empire in high rock would be weird

Nice looking forward to this, this subject is really interesting.
They could have added orcas around the Sea of Ghosts or something. Would have been neat, and scary.

In the ESO map, above Rivenspire you will see the devs drew in a angry looking Octopus/Kraken creature in the Sea. I always wondered about that.
I feel like I’m sitting through a lecture on wildlife by the jarl of whiterun 😂 and I love it haha

now do air creatures!

Giant emperor crab.
Water creature :)))

Could Ithguleor be the Sea creature we can see a glimpse in the Eso Summerset trailer when the elve women fell in the ocean ?
I would love if you could own a ship and sail basically anywhere you want like in AC odyssey in ES6

I saw the same thing in Saubnotica wiki.
