Good ol' times, I remember playing with my brother and my dad this game nonstop, my dad used to pick the Viper GTS-R Team Oreca, my brother the TT LM Edition y I picked the S2000 GT1, we always raced on Tahiti Road, miss the ol' days

I should do this challenge on gt4, since it has better physics, the launches wouldn't be so chaotic, but hey, the cerbera speed 12 probably would win, since I managed to get over 400km in 1k, since the car has over 1.1k hp

I don't know why Sony dropped that mode, the rolling race starts are dumb, it feels like you have to run forever to get some places up, in 5 to 7 or 8 laps depending on the class

I remember back in 2000, I did this and had a notebook full with each car performance ratings and stats. It took me about a half of year to hand write all that info down 😭

Nice comparison, I just finished replaing the whole game to 100%. Absolute gem of a game BUT you forgot ther best car... Where is the Escudo? And having his little brother Cultus would have also added nicely. :)

Shelby cobra daytona coupe could be faster if you shift a little sooner inbetween 5k-6k rpm iirc. Great video though!

if you feathered the throttle a bit more when you start, you would probably get better 0-100 times. are you going full throttle on purpose? anyway, fun video :>
Thanks! The cars were fully tuned to go full throttle from the start, but the thing is that rear wheel drive cars have so much wheelspin, especially if they're high HP.
@@Nightmare_Gaming871 if you get wheel spin under full throttle, you did not tune for full throttle. just apply a bit less throttle in the lower gears and you will achieve better times most likely :>
Turbo R is my favorite Porsc... RUFm but it need a little set up, 'cause it tend to understeer a lot.

Would be curious to know what tune you ran the speed 12 on, grew up on this game i know there's time to be found with that car on 1km 😉
I used the gear ratio trick that i learned from Teakaji and ran no downforce at all!

Are you running auto gears to for continuity?
Would like to see you run a similar event but hot lapping something like grindlewald. A circuit where both extremes of power vs grip can run fast lap times
@@Elusive-Seven No i run manual gears. I've thought about doing that but the fact that my driving skill would play a role in lap times means that it wouldn't be a fair comparison between cars!

As far as i know you can only do that using the ghost replay, and time when you should start but it's such a hassle! 😅
