Hello, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has left kind comments, and I’m sorry to everyone who has experienced similar things themselves or with family members. I normally respond to comments individually but I still feel weird about posting this video and talking about something personal.
It's very brave of you. Please don't ever feel you have to respond to every post, except mine of course :) Ha ha, only joking, hopefully bringing a little smile to your face. Thank you for the film of your dad. Looks like a great guy.
I lost my wife 9 years ago this month to cancer. I won’t offer words of wisdom because there’s no single solution to fix things . My heart goes out to you and I’m sure everyone else of your subscribers too. ❤
Hi Betty. So sorry to hear what your dad, you, and your family are going through. My wife and cousin are currently being treated for different cancers, so I have an idea of how you are feeling. I wish you all the very best, and hope the treatment works. Take care
Hi Betty, I got diagnosed with prostate cancer 9 years ago. Fortunately it has been contained within the prostate and I have a PSA blood test every six months. I would encourage every man over 55 to get tested regularly. Many men live to a ripe old age with prostate cancer. I recently had a prostate artery embolisation which has increased the quality of my life dramatically. Best wishes to all of your family.
Just discovered your channel. We enjoy your videos from here in Northwest Indiana. You live in a lovely place. Hope your father gets better soon. Best wishes to you and your family.
Betty, my father was diagnosed with cancer last year. The whole family was devastated so I know how you feel, make the most of the time you have. My thoughts are with you and your parents. Remember to look after yourself.
My father was diagnosed with prostate cancer many years ago and he's still going strong at 89. He's had all the usual conventional treatment but he was given one tip which he credits with lowering his PSA significantly and quite quickly. He was told to eat a lot of asparagus. For a long time he was taking it in soup form but now he generally sticks to asparagus tips. He was, of course, sceptical at first but it really did work for him. Might be worth a try- nothing to lose. Good luck!
Betty, I discovered your channel by chance and love watching you and your boat. I’m so very sorry to hear about your father as my father is unwell too so I kind of understand. If you ever need to take time off making these videos, we will be still here waiting for the next one even if it’s in a years time. Love your content. Stay safe and take time out for yourself and your family.
My Father had prostate cancer and because of that, I was tested when I turned 50. As it turned out, I was diagnosed with the damned stuff. After soul searching, I had the extreme robotic surgery performed about 9 years ago. That event certainly affected my life in some ways, but I am without the dreaded "C" and have been since they did the surgery. There's a very, very good chance that your Dad will be as fortunate as I have been. My heart goes out to you and your Dad and Mum. Try to think positive. If your Dad ever wants to discuss the issue with a rockin' 60 year old guy from the suburbs of Philadelphia, I'd be happy to do that. Love, Tommy
My feelings are with you about your dad. I lost my brother in 2015 to that cancer. It was the hardest thing the last time I left him. He said to me, "You have work to do here. Don't worry about me." That was the kind of person he was. And I never saw him again. Keep well and treasure the time you have left with him. He looks like a very nice guy.
Hoping the best for your Dad and moments of peace and calm for the whole family through this difficult time. Sending you a great big hug- all the way from Florida! We're here to listen if it helps to talk through it.
My Dad had prostate cancer, i genuinely wish your Dad, you and the rest of your family all the best - a lot of people do beat it and have a good long life 🙂
I hope you do keep posting, I always get a smile on my face when I see your video in my feed and can't wait to watch. Hopes and prayers for your dad, my mum just had her cancer op last week, things are looking positive so far, just hope it's the same for your dad. Well done for being brave and posting, can't have been easy, you're tougher than you think.
Bless you, I've lost both parents to cancer. I so hope your dad gets positive news, and that his treatment goes well, so he can make a full recovery. Sorry my comment is late, however I've just started to watch your channel.
Your dad seems like a lovely man, wishing him and you all the best! ( Also I quite like the sound quality with the rumble of the engine, feels like we're on the boat too :).
Only hooked to your lovely channel recently. So sorry to hear your news, I lost my Mum to cancer after a short few months and my father has had progressively sight deterioration over the last few years so sympathise wuth what you're going through. Hope outcome is positive for you
Hi, Betty - I like your videos of your Narrow boat journey. I wanted to to buy a Narrow boat as well. I'll say some prayers for your Dad to make a full recovery. I went through NHL and a Transplant a few yrs ago and lost both of my parents 4 and 5 yrs ago now. It sucks and I wish you and your Dad the best! Stay Strong!!! I'd like to message you more.
Hi Betty, You are so lucky to have the relationship that you do with your parents. Sadly my opportunity came when it was too late. Your parents are so lucky to have a daughter who takes the time to communicate with them and shares her life with them. I wish I had such an opportunity. Thank you for sharing such an important part of your life, you have no reason to apologize. Mark Alberta, Canada
My dad had prostate cancer so after hearing the radio adds I had a PSA test, it’s a simple blood test with results in just 5 days, so like you I urge everyone to walk into the doctors and just ask for a PSA test it takes less than 5 minutes, thankfully mine came back as normal, thinking of your dad and wishing him all the best xx
Lost my father to cancer nearly 10 years ago, i hope this will not be the case for you, spend as much time with him as you can, tell him how much he means to you and your family, it will help him and you enormously no matter what happens. Best wishes to you all.
So sorry to hear the news about your dad Betty, but it's great that he is getting treatment. They can do so much with the treatments these days. Sending hugs ❤
As a prostate cancer survivor, I can tell you that it is treatable if the cancer has not spread too far. I had the radiation BB's (brachytherapy) and it turned out to be sucessful, thank goodness. Keep positive and tell your dad to take charge of his treatment. Do NOT let the doctors put off any treament with a wait and see, or let's see how this goes, methodology. I am a new subscriber from the USA and love to see you in the rural English countryside. Wishing you and your dad the best of luck.
Betty, my dad had prostate cancer, so I regularly get checked for it during my annual check ups (I’m now 62.) Thank you for updating us and thinking of us. However, you have built a community that is willing to be a support to you as well. Lean on us if and when you need support. We will be thinking of you, your dad, and your family. Tim
@@tmcmurdo826 That makes more sense Tim , my mum had that . None of it is good . My dad has prostate cancer and has for many years , he's 93 now . I should get another PSA test done myself, coming up on 70 .
@@Gordon_L I encourage you to do that. As I said, I get mine check with each of my annual check ups. Betty has done us a favor in sharing her dad’s story.
A pal of mine has had prostate cancer and has come through treatment and doing well,do try to keep positive, and yes testing is so important,my cancer was picked up on an unrelated blood test by my brilliant GP. Best wishes to your dad.
So sorry to hear your news. My father was diagnosed with advanced, aggressive prostate cancer that had spread outside his prostate 25 years ago. He had his prostate removed and is now on Zolodex implants every three months and is still going strong. So don’t give up hope as it is much more survivable these days even when it’s advanced and aggressive. My father had no symptoms and had a test while he was having a normal check up.
Thank you for talking about.this I can see it taken a lot of courage to make this video on what happening your dad. Hope dad make full recovery. Don’t worry about talking to camera when other are around if eases the stress and upset then do it. We all hear to listen and give support. Take care for now our thoughts are with you
Hi Betty That’s such a shock. Was just expecting to see you and a swan on the canal with you losing your hat and finding a stray cat. Hopefully your dad’s treatment will sort it out and you can get him to join you on your boat for some adventures when he is on the mend. You have such a lot of warmth, love and support on this channel that wishes your dad a full recovery.
Thank you, I will put this towards my maintenance fund! Sorry for not replying sooner - I’m still getting the hang of RUclips and have only just seen this.
Betty, please don't abandon us, we are subsribers because we are with you, share you're heavy load with us, let us support you and lighten your load. We can help you even if it's just by listening.please upload more, not less, lots of love to you, worried subscriber
I'm so happy that your father got treatment in good time, and will no doubt share many happy memories for years to come. Lovely to see your serene travels in nature which has such great healing energy.I'm living abroad now but I really miss the countryside of the UK greatly! Stay safe.😊
I can relate to this, Betty. I am awaiting the results of my biopsy, next week I hope. All I can say is, if your old enough to get checked, DO IT. I can assure you, you do not want to go for a biopsy, as I'm sure Betty, your dad would agree. Update. After waiting 5wks (I was told it would be 3) for my results, I was given the all clear. That makes up for the loss of my dignity, if I had any in the first place.
Hey Betty, talking is great and we are all here to listen and support. Been through this myself with both my parents so my heart goes out to you. Take care of yourself, Iain
I am very sorry to hear the news about your father. My wife had breast cancer 22 years ago and is still hail and hearty, myself, I was diagnosed with bowel cancer 3 and a bit years ago. I've had chemo, radiotherapy and surgery and my life is pretty good😅 and normal. Last year I took up archery which I love. Not all cancer disgnosis are terminal, but can be a nuisance, just like a traffic jam on a long drive! Be positive, especially around both parents. I don't pray but I do wish your father all the very best. Walking, cycling and driving your boat will be very therapeutic for you as they will take your mind away from the bad news. Keeping up with the videos will help you too. See you soon.
I have just discovered your channel and binge watching your videos. I would just like to give you a big telepathic hug and hope things are improving with you dad. Keep smiling. Steve xx
Each of us go through something similar to this. Each of us deal with it in different ways. Its OK. Thanks for sharing, and good luck to you and your family.
I lost my dad to prostate cancer a couple of years ago so this hits home. I ll be praying for you and your family. Your a very special person & I enjoy watching your videos!
Feeling anxiety about what I'm about to watch? 😬 Edit : rooting for your dad, my grandad went through it a couple of times. Treatment has come along way in recent times, fingers crossed you can all smile about this in the near future ❤️
So sorry to hear about your Dad. My Dad was diagnosed with prostate cancer a few years ago. He’s had all the treatment for it and is checked regularly, and he is doing really well. My Mum, myself and my Sisters were extremely worried and we all shed a few tears, but my Dad was so laid back about it, even though it was tearing us up inside, he remained positive. My heart goes out to you and your family. Best wishes to your Dad and I hope it all goes well for him ❤x
Hi Betty. We found out my Dad had prostate cancer in October 2023. By December we were told it had spread to various bones such as his spine, ribs and pelvis. He then got pneumonia over Christmas (this wasn’t related to the cancer). In January he started treatment by injections at his GP surgery every few months . This has stopped the cancer progressing. His consultant said the cancer can be kept at bay for years in this way. He’s 84 and things have really settled down for him. He’s got a good quality of life and after a roller coaster few months when we all feared the worse and felt like the situation was running away from us it’s much more positive now. I hope your dad has similar news soon.
Hi Betty, just came across your channel and watched all your vlogs. Was devastated to hear your dad has prostate cancer. Really hope his treatment goes well. We bought our boat last year and our plans have had to change twice due to unforeseen medical problems. Wishing you and your family all the best. Look after yourself.
You are so sweet Betty. I have heard of many good outcomes from prostate cancer. Never lose hope there is much they can do these days for this condition. Best wishes and prayers for you and family...
I had prostate cancer 14yrs ago, I went to the Drs for another ailment but they found the cancer doing another test. They removed 20% of the prostate and everything good now. Positive mindset at all times got me through the dark times and there was a few of them!! Sending love to you, your mum & positive vibes to your dad 🙏❤️
Sorry to hear about your dad Betty I lost my Dad during COVID so I do feel a bit of what you’re going through, he was diagnosed with prostate cancer in 1996 but he survived that so don’t give up hope, I wish all the very best of luck to you and your family thanks for having the courage to still keep making your brilliant videos, take care
Prayers for your Pops as these days go by. I understand the journey of this situation, my sister went thru it. we lost her in 2015 . Our parents are special in our lives. In 2020 & 2021 i lost both my parents. So i will keep you in my thoughts and prayers too😢. it hurts . Hope, faith and speak recovery and life to his treatment. 🙏🙏🙏 Blessings in abundance. 💙💙
Hello Betty. I would like to say how much my wife and I are enjoying your vlogs, you're really a nice person to follow, Thanks for sharing time with us.. Like your dad, I had prostate cancer about 9 years ago, but it was dealt with at the time and I am fine, so, wishing your dad all the very best. Good luck !
Thank you for continuing to take us on your journeys sharing your news with us. Sending much love to You, your Mom and your Dad and I hope he hears good news soon. Film as much or as little as you want to. I'm sure all of your subscribers will be here for you and your family ❤
Hi Betty I discovered I had prostate cancer in 2017 through a simple blood test, (PSA Test). I had hormone injections and 20 sessions of radio therapy. I'm now 75 , still Woking part time and still ride my bike. I have been told that more people die with prostate cancer than of it .
Hi Betty,so, so sorry to hear about your dad. I wish him all the best in his fight with cancer. My ears pricked up when I heard you mention the Kings Bromley Marina. On your video, on your right was the old Leavlite factory where my dad worked, and as you were reversing, I could see the top of our white house where we used to live !!! The bridge ahead of you was where I used to catch the school bus to litchfield to attend Aelfgar school. You bring to Australia so many memories Betty, can't thank you enough. Thoughts and prayers to yourself and family during these difficult times. Take care, look after yourself from Marty in Oz x
Wonderful video. Thank you for sharing. You are very brave opening up to us. Yes, we are strangers, but oh my…we are all going through life together and it’s hard sometimes. We need each other. You are a loving person and your dad is fortunate to have you by his side when he needs you. I had prostate cancer surgery a couple months ago. It’s a traumatic thing to learn you have cancer, so I feel for you and your family and pray peace and comfort for you all. One day at a time.
My heart goes out to you & your family Betty. My dad has had Leukaemia for 8 years (he's 84). Sadly his health has deteriorated significantly & he’s now in a Hospice receiving palliative care. I've just spent the last week at his bedside. Although it’s not exactly quality time, it’s still nice to have this remaining time with him. I hope you & all your family get to spend many more happy years together. Stay strong & cherish each day. You’re an incredibly warm & kindhearted person & a lot stronger than you believe. Take each day as it comes & all the time you need. We’ll all still be here when you return.
I do admire you making this announcement regarding dads diagnosis, it is so worrying it takes over your life, stay strong and best wishes for your parents health. I do know your dad would be so proud of your endeavours, operating a narrow boat and producing a wonderful video for all to enjoy.
Thanks for sharing Betty, it must have been difficult. I’m going to look at having a test, no symptoms, but you’ve convinced me it’s important to check.
So sorry to hear about your dad and wish him all the best and hope the treatment works, you have to do whatever it takes but you must look after yourself. Stay strong and I wish you and your family all the best ❤❤
Hi Betty, thank you for the update and my thoughts and best wishes to both of your parents. I hope you managed to get the engine serviced and I look forward to your next update whenever you manage to do it.
I'm really sorry to hear your news. My wife has been going through her own journey with cancer, and is now learning to walk again after multiple operations. The one piece of advice I can give you from my experience is that it's not just your Dad who will need help and support - you and your family will too. Don't feel guilty about asking for help and support if you need it. Best wishes.
Good luck to you, your dad and whole family. My dad had prostate cancer about 6 years ago. He is still with us and is still fighting fit. So keep positive, and stay strong. Well done for sharing - it may help somebody else.
Betty, You are one incredible lady. I believe in the power of prayer. I will be praying for your father, mom, and you as well. you will be fine. Keep the faith, stay blessed.
Sorry to hear about your father. My brother was diagnosed with prostate cancer 17 years ago. It had advanced very fast and further than they had thought. They removed it and tried to remove anything around it that may have advanced past the prostate. He is 73 years old now and still no issues, so the best to your father’s health along with your mother. Any time the “C” word is spoken, it sends chills up ya spine and questions the future. I’m still always impressed with your boating skills, you Handle the boat like a pro. Just as a note, I can’t tell if what you are wearing is a top or a dress but I have a dress with that same pattern on it and just love it. It looks really nice on you. But good boating and the best with your family❣️🙏🏻
Thank-you for your openness and I am deeply saddened to hear to hear the your father is ill. My cousin had/has (?) prostate cancer, he was quite unwell for a for a few years, but after the treatment, he is now better, improving anyway. We are still waiting for the all-clear, but we are quietly confident. Sending you all my wishes in this painful and worrying time. I wish him, you all, well.
My Dad passed away 2 weeks ago at home with us, not from cancer but I know the thoughts you're having and the feelings you're going through. That's where I was at the start of the year. Sending you and your Dad all the positive vibes I can for good news! ❤ So nice to see him in the clips you showed. He seems a great Dad and I can tell you're a great daughter for him. Your videos have such a genuine innocence and kindness about them and about you, and your Dad is a part of who you are. I bet he is really proud of his lovely Betty on a Boat.
Hello Betty, i just found you tonight, watched all your videos & became a subscriber from a small town in Iowa USA. I'm so sorry to hear about your Dad. Prays to all of you🙏❤ I'm sooooo tired of hearing another person has cancer!! There has to be a cure & now! Late last week we found out my sister inlaw who has been battling breast cancer for 4 years has now only 6 months because it's attacking her brain so badly😭. This also happened to my cousin. Cancer is so wrong!!!😤😡 But beautiful people like you with your videos helps alot of us forget about the bad things in life. I hope you don't find that offensive in your time of need. I hope you find it as an inspiration to make more videos for a release of your stressful times & a time for us all to escape into your beautiful videos❤ Thank you so much for sharing your life with us.
Hi Betty, so sorry for your families news, cancer affects the whole family as I found out 2years ago with throat cancer. You’re doing the right thing in my opinion, be near your parents and I wish your dad the best of luck with the incoming results and the treatment he’s going to get. X
So sorry to hear your dad's condition I lost my brother 2 years ago to prostate cancer, he did not seek treatment til it was too late please tell everyone to seek treatment as soon as you realise your unwell or go and ask your GP to get checked early as it is treatable in its early stages❤ hope everything goes well for you!
so sorry to hear about your dad,it is good that you are going to be near him and your mum for the foreseeable, its good that you are going to continue to make the videos as that will help to keep you grounded.sending you all my love and a big hug,all of us following you will be keeping your family in our thoughts.xxxx
Like many Men of a certain age I too have prostate cancer. Everyone’s experience with the disease is different so no clever words from me, just I wish your Dad and your Mum and you the best and I hope for the best possible outcome.
Im sorry to hear your bad news Betty. I know how devastating it is. Ive lost all my family to cancer. Im a nhs worker too and work in a cancer clinic. Its good your spreading the word about prostrate cancer. Hope your dad gets bettee news and his treatment goes well. Big hugs lovely x
Very sorry to hear your news. Best wishes to you, your Dad and family. Very gracious of you to take the time in this vlog to remind others to get tested from time to time. Keep safe. Make as many or as few vlogs as your comfortable with.
It is very courageous of you to make this sensitive video, and at the same time it appears to also be strengthening for you. Talking about worries is something not everyone can do. Hopefully your dad will react to his treatment now. My dad went through the same ordeal and he is now 94. That's a good thing to think of if you wish. Send your dad all the best wishes.
Really sorry to hear your news, hope your dad makes a full recovery, he seems lovely from the videos you shared. Nice that he's a canal so you can be closer. Great idea making people aware of something we should all be checking anyway but probably don't. Looking forward to more videos when you have the time. Much love from sunny Skegness!
Thank you Betty for sharing this. I'll look at your links because men (including my husband) need encouraging to get themselves checked! It's lovely that you're moving the boat closer to them. I'm sure you will all feel very comforted by you being nearby. Wishing you all the very best. It's lovely watching your videos - it's like travelling with a friend 🤗
Hi Betty I've only watched 2 of your posts before .. So you know a total stranger from New Zealand heard and listened to you talk about your Dad I wish you and family all the best. My Dad is from the UK so take a interest in country side towns and names off the beaten track. So your doing a fantastic job take care.
One of my friends fathers has had prostate cancer for 10 years, I know every case is different but he’s done ok! Cancer treatments seem to have progressed so much over the years! I wish you and your father well!
Bless you Betty you had this 60yr old man in tears for you and your dad.Great message in here for us as men as we often forget about ourselves in everyday life.Good wishes to you and family from ours here in Australia.xx
Betty, I am sorry to hear about your dad's cancer. my dad and two uncles all died from cancer with in 5 months period.I know it's hard stay healthy and strong and spend as much Time as you can with him.🤗 I am praying for you and your family, for your dad's healing .🙏.
Hi Betty. Picked up your channel a month or so ago and love watching it. I admire what you do and how you live. Lost a lot if my family to cancer but treatment is so much better these day and hopefully your dads was caught early. Wishing you all the best. Keep smiling if you can. All the best from Devon. Matt
Thank you for sharing a personal glimpse into your situation. No one prepares you for the time you have to take care of your parents when their health starts to decline. They have always been there and should live forever right? I lost my mom about 14 years ago, and this time last year my dad had a huge tumor that started growing on his face. I urged him and urged him (men just do not like to go to the DR I realized - since my husband is the same). Finally he agreed to go, and it was what we feared. Cancer. A surgery that lasted 9 hours, including grafting from his leg to cover the hole they cut in his face, he is on the mend and we are extremely thankful. My prayers are for you and your family.
I've been having similar thoughts - you don't really think about your parents getting older and having health problems, you just think they'll be there forever because they always have been. I'm sorry to hear about your mom and I hope your dad continues to recover.
Betty, I am hoping for the best for your father, you, your mother, and the rest of your family. Thank you for sharing your feelings with us. So often, it seems people feel a need to feign bravery through suppressing their feelings. I think it takes a good deal more courage to express them and expose one's vulnerability while doing so. In putting your humanity on display for all to see, we love you all the more for it. Your father must be very proud of the woman you've become. Best wishes.
So sorry to hear about your dad and I hope with treatment he will enjoy many future trips with you. I also believe it is good for the soul to talk and to cry, without feeling embarrassment. I do it all the time when I miss my daughters. You just passed my old studio at Kings Bromley (right @ 14.18) where I made some great music and have some great memories. Take care! ☘☘☘
Hi Betty. Thank you for sharing re your Dad. Also loved that you showed short clips of your Dad. I must say that I have a high Prostate reading but after having done research on the pros and cons of the various evasive actions required in the testing, etc. I decided to carry on as I am. I have had high readings for at least 5/6 years. Anyhow, whatever action people decide to take is what they feel is best for them. Each to their own, so to speak. Such a good idea of yours to take your canal boat up to near your Mum and Dad's. All the very best to your Dad and I trust Mum is doing okay now also. I so enjoy your videos Betty for many reasons including always a calming effect. I look forward to your next adventure 😊
Hello, I just wanted to say thanks to everyone who has left kind comments, and I’m sorry to everyone who has experienced similar things themselves or with family members. I normally respond to comments individually but I still feel weird about posting this video and talking about something personal.
It's totally understandable. Bless you.
Keep strong xx
It's very brave of you. Please don't ever feel you have to respond to every post, except mine of course :) Ha ha, only joking, hopefully bringing a little smile to your face. Thank you for the film of your dad. Looks like a great guy.
Thank you for sharing what you're going through at the moment. I really hope your dad pulls through.
Keep your chin up and best wishes with your Dad.
I lost my wife 9 years ago this month to cancer. I won’t offer words of wisdom because there’s no single solution to fix things . My heart goes out to you and I’m sure everyone else of your subscribers too. ❤
Good luck....keep safe and best wishes to your Dad
Happened to me 8 years and 5 months ago. Age 55.
Hi Betty. So sorry to hear what your dad, you, and your family are going through. My wife and cousin are currently being treated for different cancers, so I have an idea of how you are feeling. I wish you all the very best, and hope the treatment works. Take care
Oh my word! Good luck and best wishes for your Dad! We're all behind you , all the best Betty
Betty so sorry to hear about your dad 😢 i lost my mum to cancer in 2000 i know what you are going through ❤❤
I was treated for prostate cancer in 2009, it had spread, but now at 78, I'm as fit as a fiddle. Keep your chin up.
Hi Betty, I got diagnosed with prostate cancer 9 years ago. Fortunately it has been contained within the prostate and I have a PSA blood test every six months. I would encourage every man over 55 to get tested regularly. Many men live to a ripe old age with prostate cancer.
Rooting for you Betty and your dad. Let me offer my love and support as well as friendship.
So sorry to hear this. Your Dad seems like a lovely man. Sending him and you love and I hope the outcome is good for your Dad.
Thank you!
My Father had prostate cancer and because of that, I was tested when I turned 50. As it turned out, I was diagnosed with the damned stuff. Love, Tommy
So sorry about your father!!!!! Praying for you and your family!!!!!! GOD BLESS YOU ALL!!!!! GREAT VIDEOS!!!!!!
I’m sorry to hear about your brother. Thank you for your message.
Hoping the best for your Dad and moments of peace and calm for the whole family through this difficult time. Sending you a great big hug- all the way from Florida! We're here to listen if it helps to talk through it.
So nice of you to share something so personal, best wishes to you and your family ❤
Betty, I wish you every blessing with your Dad.
My Dad had prostate cancer, i genuinely wish your Dad, you and the rest of your family all the best - a lot of people do beat it and have a good long life 🙂
Thank you for the good wishes!
🙂
I hope you do keep posting, I always get a smile on my face when I see your video in my feed and can't wait to watch. Hopes and prayers for your dad, my mum just had her cancer op last week, things are looking positive so far, just hope it's the same for your dad. Well done for being brave and posting, can't have been easy, you're tougher than you think.
Bless you, I've lost both parents to cancer. I so hope your dad gets positive news, and that his treatment goes well, so he can make a full recovery. Sorry my comment is late, however I've just started to watch your channel.
Thank you for your kind comment and I’m sorry to hear about your parents. My dad is doing OK so far!
Hope outcome is positive for you
I’m sorry to hear that. 😔 Thank you for your good wishes.
Your dad sounds like a top bloke, wishing you all well at this stressful time.
Hi Betty,
You are so lucky to have the relationship that you do with your parents. Sadly my opportunity came when it was too late. Your parents are so lucky to have a daughter who takes the time to communicate with them and shares her life with them. I wish I had such an opportunity.
Thank you for sharing such an important part of your life, you have no reason to apologize.

Praying for your dad that he pulls through and fully heals. Take as much time as you need to spend with your parents.
Tim
Your aunt had prostate cancer , really ? Women do not have a prostate .
@@Gordon_L Then I have it mixed up…colon cancer!
Sorry hear about your dad .wish him well and treatment works for him .he seems like a great dad
I am sorry to hear about your father, I hope things go well for him. Best wishes.👍🏻❤️👍🏻
Thank you for the update. Prayers for strength and healing.
Take care for now our thoughts are with you
Hi Betty
That’s such a shock.
Thanks for sharing & hope this helps with servicing your boat engine.
Thank you, I will put this towards my maintenance fund! Sorry for not replying sooner - I’m still getting the hang of RUclips and have only just seen this.
I am sorry to hear about your dad, my brother had cancer and now he is well again but it is a terrible strain on the family. I hope he gets well soon.
From Texas, USA. Prayers for your family!
Thank you!
What horrible news for you and your family. Wishing you all the best from the Netherlands. Stay strong Betty.
I have just discovered your channel and binge watching your videos.
I would just like to give you a big telepathic hug and hope things are improving with you dad.
Keep smiling. Steve xx
Thank you very much!
Edit : rooting for your dad, my grandad went through it a couple of times.
Betty I am so sorry to hear this. Our prayers go to your dad . And to you again truly sorry to hear this .
I'm sorry you've had medical problems too. Thank you for your best wishes.
Lots of thoughts and love are with your Dad, and with you ❤❤
Thank you!
Prayers from across the pond for your family.
That’s great news! Thanks for the reassurance!
Thank you for sharing such a personal part of you and your family's life ❤ God bless you all 🙏🏼
Hi Betty,so, so sorry to hear about your dad.
Thank you, that's very kind!
Sorry to hear about your farther, wish him well and a good recovery. All my love and support to you.
Thank you, that's very kind!
I know what you mean, cancer seems very common now unfortunately and I don't know why that is. :-(
So sorry to hear! All the way from across the pond, our thoughts and prayers are with you and your family!
Thumbs up to that comment. Every case is indeed different. No need for details but I am enjoying life and a low PSA at 77. Best wishes.
Thank you, we're all doing OK. I'm continuing my journey now so I hope you find it interesting to watch.
Bless you and your family at this time. X
Thank you!
Missed you these past weeks, sorry to hear about your dad. Prayers for him, your mom & you. Make your videos as you like, will wait & watch.
Бетти, я Денис из Сибири. Смотрю Ваше видео и рад нашему знакомству. ❤
Good to meet you too!
