Hey Matt, I love the videos, they’ve been quick, clear and direct info to these motors. Thanks a ton. Also the Australian accent mate! Keep the videos coming!
Hey mate so just wondering if you could comment a link for them plastic things you are using as they would be a god sent. I dont even know where to look or what they even would he called! They are so good

The red plastic pieces you used to configure the bends, was that a special kit for this manifold or is it a product you can buy to make up any manifold?
Awesome stuff Matt. Been waiting for this one. Wonder if its worth laying a finishing weld over the root pass welds? Might make it stronger and tidy it up before ceramic coating.
You are probably right Mick but seeing as I'm no certified welder, the last ones on the blue car held up so I think I'm just going to wing it this time around 😂 I have faith they will be alright, I think I need to improve my technique next time so they turn out a bit nicer
yes for sure! as long as the new pistons fitted are the same size as the ones coming out. head off, sump off, undo the rod bolts and pull the pistons and rods out the top of the block. your pistons will either be 74mm, 74.5mm or 75mm
@@Yungltd i made 301 HP on 20 psi on a bone stock 5e engine for over two years with no problems however 5 years ago i had a full forged engine and destroyed it at only 200 hp because of a bad batch of fuel and trying to make big hp on small frame turbo...It all depends on your setup and what turbo you are running. In other words a Larger turbo means less back pressure at higher boost levels.
Looking at the manifold in this current video, if I re route number 1 runner to go behind the oil filter it is Power steering compatible as well as a/c.
@@MaliSupra cool yeah I'll be looking to sell manifold eventually. What sort of turbo are you using? Internal waste gate? I estimate the cost will be around $1000.
love the work mate, when we gonna see the blue meanie ripping down the drags at hidden valley? also how long is it taking you to throw together this manifold you just made?
Bro i need help to know what the best aftermarket brand of crank and rod bearings also the piston rings for rebuild my 5efe. Can you help me on this? I live in Brasil and here are fucking hard to find this. I'll import.
Do you need standard or oversized bearings? Is it a turbo build and how much power are you trying to make? Is it a generation 1 5efe or a generation 2 5efe?
@@MattBerrymotorsport i need a oversized. I'll not instal a turbo now but i want to do soon. About generation i dont know my car is a toyota paseo 94. If you have a Instagram acount send me plesae @ovictorventura. I apreciate if you can help me on my project
@@VTRCONCEPT I don't have Instagram sorry. Does your Paseo have distributor or does it have coil packs? That will determine what series engine it is. Is there anything wrong with the engine or you just want to rebuild it?
@@MattBerrymotorsport ohhh my engine are distributor we dont have 5efe with coil pack in brazil. My engine have no serious problem. I just wanna rebuild.
For a stock engine you can't beat toyota bearings. If there is nothing wrong with your engine there really is no point in rebuilding it. If you just want to learn, there is no problem with just stripping it all down, cleaning all the hard carbon and old oil off everything and then re assemble it. Good luck 😊😊

Would love one of these
Loving this so much...I need one just like that
It definitely makes life easier having ac and a big radiator!
thanks for the showing the technique
Awesome! R u looking to do more of these? I’d be interested in one with EWG flange!
Hi Matt , do you know where I can buy the rubber pipes/elbows you have used for manifold modelling? What is the name for these elements?
It's Very good Job!
Did you use a 1.1/4 schedule pipe?
Hey Matt i need one of these manifold made man very nice
Might start doing orders if I get enough interest.
Hey man I'm in Darwin. How much is a manifold for a 7afe?
Did you back purging when welding the manifold?
The red plastic pieces you used to configure the bends, was that a special kit for this manifold or is it a product you can buy to make up any manifold?
It from engineiceworks.com it's a kit that is suitable to make any manifold you like
You ment www.icengineworks.com/?
How much will it cost to build me one of this manifold?
The TD05 kit you made is amazing. Do you still sell it? I need to find your email to ask a few questions.
How much would you sell one of those same manifold for the E engine for? I also have a 5E Engine
That’s sick bro
My aircon doesn't work, and don't need it in New Zealand anyway. Just need to get a new daily then I'll see how long an NA 4E lasts... haha
So underrated

I want to turbo my stock 4efe
@@andremiller6166 do it.
Awesome work :D
Thanks man do you still drive your itb starlet? I've watched a few of your videos
@@MattBerrymotorsport I drive it every day. I bought another starlet to daily but that broke... So I drive ol'faithful. It needs some love though.
Hey do those exhaust manifold sell ?
I’m doing a build have a tdo4 with a 4efe setup
Hey Matt, does the performance valves and springs in the 4EFE also fit the 4AFE? Been hearing they flow better.
I am 100% sure the valves are different. I don't know about the springs though
If you want to increase flow your best option is to buy a good set of cams and run the stock valves
But standard engine low boost?
Hey Matt what diameter tube did you use for the collectors
Is it possible to put upgraded pistons in without dropping the engine out
yes for sure! as long as the new pistons fitted are the same size as the ones coming out. head off, sump off, undo the rod bolts and pull the pistons and rods out the top of the block.
your pistons will either be 74mm, 74.5mm or 75mm
Matt Berry how much power could I run on just upgraded pistons and rods
Matt Berry and how would find out my piston size without taking head off

Yea
Hey Matt i was wandering, is this tubing stainless or not. And what is the thickness of this tube?
hi its just mild steel steam pipe. its about 4mm
@@MattBerrymotorsportthanks Matt! Is it the diameter of the starlet exhaust ports or bigger?
Could you do something similar on a 2006 carolla 1.8 ?
Yeah depends what turbo and where it has to sit. There was a lot of labour in this manifold because I was so restricted for room
Have any builds thats power steering and ac compatible with the EP91?
