The infamous ALL motor GT has TEMPORARILY got a turbo. We removed the 4efe n/a engine and replaced it with a 5e, a better clutch and a locked diff gerbox.
I just found your channel and it was like striking gold. I have a 5efe tercel and its great to have all this info in one place! time to start modding :D

hey man! these videos are super helpful as a person who lives in canada where theres not alot of information. I have a question, what c52 transmissions fit into the starlet glanza in replace of the c56?
hey man thanks. A c52, is a c52. they are all the same. the only thing that changes is the bell housing. You need to competely strip the gearbox to replace it but its not too difficult.
Hey mate. What is the difference between a 4efe and a 4efte engine block? Excluding the sump, rods and pistons, would I be able to use the 4efe bare block for a 4efte setup?
Only difference in the block is the fte has the oil filter relocater. Our last fe block made just under 500 hp on 33 psi with nitrous before breaking the crank in half. Videos are on the channel
@@Camp_Dogs Wow that's crazy! So I can strip down the 4efe engine and put in the whole forged upgrade (pistons, rods, fte oil sump and oil filter relocation) and I'm good to go? oil pressure hole in the block is the same as everything else on the fte block? Thank you!
How do you have 4 coil packs on your 5e-fe?? I have an american version 1997 Toyota paseo 4 speed automatic and I don't understand how you have 4 coil packs instead of a wasted spark plug design like the amercian kind. Are they different in certain countries and would I be able to do a conversion to gain hp?? Also I'd like to convert my 5e-fe to an ITB setup how would I go about it??
Cannot be done on stock ecu, you need aftermarket one with 4 x ignition outputs. You wont gain any power, it just supplies a better spark to burn the extra air and fuel thats all.
@@TattooTaffy1 no doubt about it that the external coatings are keeping the heat in. But this is useless for a radiator and intercooler lol. Not to mention on the valves and combustion chambers and its just blown off

what's the easiest way to get like 100-110hp to the wheels from a 4EFE? if it's really easier to do an engine swap like the internet claims, does my G162 transaxle mate to a 2ZZ? Because I really love my 6 speed. Any tips appreciated, cheers from Iceland.
Hey Matt, do you use the distributor for cam position to feedback to the ECU on the first gen 5E engines? I have a first gen 5E without the crank sensor and am currently trying to figure out how to get engine position to ECU. Also, what MAP sensor have you been using? Cheers!
Yeah using the distributor is fine. All depends what ecu youre using, cant be done on stock ecu... Also my map sensor is built into the microtech ecu...
@ Camp Dogs please can someone tell if a 4efte distributor fit in 5efhe head? I want to make 5EFTE but don’t know why not just use the whole 5efhe engine with 4efte pistons and heavy duty valve springs and 4efte sump and pick up with 4efte intake manifold
@Camp Dogs what thickness of Cometic head gasket do you recommend on a 5EFTE using wiseco 74.5mm pistons 1.2mm with 1mm crush or 1mm with 75mm crush please?
