    My 3 steps to better self-confidence
    1- work on yourself
    2- eat healthy, drink a lot of water and have a good sleep
    3- Read the book Womens magic truths on borlest
    I'm very surprised how few people know about this book when my friend recommended it to me it took me 1 day just to read it and I was blown away it's the best thing I've read lately My self-confidence has increased to the maximum

    Your point about the happiest people being the most willing to share just really hit me. It’s so true that self-loathing people have a scarcity mindset, are super competitive, and feel crappy when they see others’ good fortune. Speaking from experience here, lol. And the victim mentality folds right in. Thanks for sharing this video!!

    Anytime I’ve compared myself to others, I’ve felt less than. Until I realized that the only person I should compare myself to, is the person I was yesterday. No matter what you compare, you will always find someone richer, better looking than you, has a nicer car, has a better (fill in the blanks). And it's totally pointless. When I began focusing on the idea of going to bed better than I woke up, basically making sure that throughout day I do things that make a better version than the one who woke up that morning, then life really began to change for me. Focus on you and your own progress. Run your own marathon!

    Your point about boundaries with partners is so true. Recently ended a relationship when a man crossed a boundary a few times. I finally said hey, enough, stop it. Period. He got all bent out of shape. I told him if he can't respect what is clearly a line for me, then I'm moving on. And yes, I was prepared for the relationship to end, which it did. It didn't kill me. It simply reinforced what I will accept and NOT accept in a relationship.

    1)KEEP A PROMISE, BUILD SO MUCH CONFIDENCE
    Example: Saving $15,000 a year will make you feel more confident and help you stick to your word.
    Choose one thing that you will commit to for three weeks, such as writing down three things you are grateful for in the morning or doing workouts.
    2)GET TO KNOW YOURSELF
    Start journaling to explore your thoughts and feelings.
    Make a long list of activities or experiences and try them out. Afterward, write down why you liked or didn't like each one, considering various factors.
    3)WRITE THREE DIFFERENT LISTS
    Reflect on your past successes and contributions.
    Identify and acknowledge your strengths.
    Recognize your potentials and areas where you have room to grow.
    4)ACTIVELY CREATE A POSITIVE OUTLOOK
    Embrace a positive mindset and believe that good things happen to you.
    Practice gratitude by focusing on the little things that bring you joy, even on difficult days.
    Make a conscious effort to minimize complaints and instead focus on the positive. It takes practice, just like building a muscle.
    5)STOP BEING A VICTIM
    Practice resilience and acknowledge that while certain things may have happened to you and sucked, you are determined to move forward and not let them limit your life.
    6)HOW YOU APPEAR TO THE WORLD
    Pay attention to your posture and maintain good posture.
    Slow down your pace, whether it's walking or talking.
    Practice entering a room by looking around slowly before proceeding in your intended direction.
    When asking uncomfortable questions, speak slowly and confidently, without feeling obligated to answer if it makes you uncomfortable. Slowing down will make you appear more confident.
    7)GET TO KNOW YOUR NEEDS
    Be confident in expressing your needs to others.
    For example, say, "I need you to hold me because I'm feeling really sad," or "I need you to pay a little more attention to me because I'm feeling off today."
    8)ACTIVELY IDENTIFY WHAT MAKES YOU HAPPY, EVEN IN SMALL WAYS
    Imagine your perfect working environment, friendships, or relationships, and write about them in a journal.
    Allow yourself to dream and have fun envisioning your ideal future.
    9)CREATE STRONG BOUNDARIES
    Recognize that valuable things are not easily obtained by everyone, just like exclusive brands like Hermes. Seek high-value and amazing friends, as this is your sacred space that you don't want to compromise.
    Communicate your boundaries clearly, especially with men, and be prompt and assertive. For example, say, "I don't like it when you do XYZ because it's disrespectful." Stick to your boundaries as only you can uphold them.
    10) ASK YOURSELF WHAT SOMEONE WHO LOVES THEMSELVES WOULD DO
    Trust your intuition and honor the first answer that comes to mind.
    11) FOLLOW YOUR HAPPINESS and pursue the things that bring you joy and fulfillment.

    Useful and meaningful tips! I’d like to add: be true to yourself.
    If you feel certain emotion, acknowledge it. Take responsibility for your actions and don’t cloud your words by saying something that you don’t mean or isn’t true. Be direct and open with oneself is one of the keys to be confident.
    Also, When we keep on dodging or escaping what is not favourable, our confidence shatters. Facing the problems is also important.
    I know it takes time to be confident, it doesn’t happen overnight. We all are imperfect and progress always holds an upper hand than perfection 😊

    It is quite obvious & natural too that at some stage of your life you come across these things like feeling sad or a lack of confidence, especially after a big milestone accomplishment , feeling bored, loss of meaning or purpose in life,feeling unfulfilled,feelings of nostalgia, excessively thinking about the past, making impulse actions, feelings of regret. But as I have been closely following you through your vlogs, I strongly feel that you would surely over come your anxiety & so called midlife crisis thing.

    Have you ever heard about the fact that self-trust is an unconcious core need? most of us people have the extreme concious feeling of wanting to control everything. Literally all the things that might happen. And since this problem overshadows our "unconcious" core need of self trust, we don't know how to become confident. If you for example want to be loved and appreciated and liked by everyone, your core need might be self-love. You get it?
    So if you want to stop the fears, overthinking, making up plans in your head and building self trust instead, make yourself small promises every day. And KEEP THEM.

    My husband is a wonderful person, but he also has faults. I used to not know how to communicate my boundaries and sometimes in confrontation, he’d successfully overargue me. But I learned to be straightforward and I think I’m only straightforward now because I’ve learned to deal with the discomfort of unraveling my emotions-what is fact and what is fiction. I believe my confidence in communication derived from knowing what I was particularly feeling and where my emotions arose from. I believe confidence results from unconditional self compassion ❤😊

    All these steps could decrease stress levels and probably contribute to higher happiness levels.
    Building (real) confidence is usually done through accomplishing difficult things. The more difficult goals you accomplish, the more confident you will be in yourself. When you know you can do something (or have the ability to learn something difficult), nobody can say anything to take that away from you…not even your partner, superiors, or family. You know you can prove them wrong. Now, that is true confidence.

      I agree that accomplishing things you want increases confidence, but I think basing your entire confidence on achievements is a very masculine thing. I don’t think it would work as well for most women as it does for most men 😊 that’s just my opinion, but of course everyone should do whatever works best for them. Appreciate your feedback 👌🏼✨

    I love how real and practical these tips are, thanks for sharing them! I disagree with tip number 10 about making you happiness your first priority. The harder we reach for happiness, the more it flees our grasp. So many philosophers, great thinkers, and just regular people as well have come to this conclusion. I know this is counter intuitive, but so many things in life work like this. I believe it works like this because so many times, what we think will make us happy is just something that gives us instant gratification but is not good for us in the long run, i.e. getting drunk frequently, watching movies/tv shows all day, eating junk food every day, etc. Instead, the things that we dread such as writing that essay, working out, being mindful of what we eat, etc, are the ones that really benefit us and will give us a happier life. I do agree with the rest of the tips tho, and I would love to read the opinions of others!

    • @Sofia-cx9dq
      @Sofia-cx9dq Год назад +3

      What I think it means to follow your happiness is to go for what truly makes you happy, not the instant gratification things that really make you feel like garbage after a little bit. But things like dancing drawing, watching the flowers, looking at the sunrise, stars, sunset, enjoying a picnic with loved ones, sitting by a fire, they make you truly happy, or whatever else flips your switch. The things like drinking, watching TV, and eating junk food do not really make you happy because you feel like trash as or after you do them.

    Growing up my needs more often than not weren’t respected or encouraged, I was even punished if I had or expressed needs. I feel this makes me shameful whenever my boundaries appear to me to be ignored or my needs dismissed.
    It feels like I can’t get a hold of what it is that I might need because it’s so drilled into my bones that wanting something or needing something that is not the same as someone else, or that might inconvenience them, is the epitome of selfishness and evidence that I’m a bad person.
    Also, I am always convinced my feeling of the need is invalid or a figment of my imagination, that I am misinformed or exaggerating. I don’t think I could ever say things like:
    I need a lot of cuddles every day;
    I need you to give me context and be communicative;
    I need you not to be distant and feel far away;
    I need you to reassure me a lot even if it feels like you are repeating yourself;
    I need to hear you say countless times and regularly that you care about me, will be there for me, and appreciate me;
    I need you to be dependable and punctual;
    I need it to be okay for you if I decide I need to wait to have sex indefinitely because I don’t want to feel pressured;
    I need you to always have my back and be on my side while also always being honest and direct with me if I need to change a behavior or if something is bothering you;
    I need you to make efforts to remain calm and be gentle and careful if you are upset or if we argue;
    I need you to let me walk out before you if we walk through a doorway;
    I need you not to sleep with your back to me in bed even if you feel this is the only way you can fall asleep.
    Even though these are needs I feel I definitely have, to my mind, it would be too much to ask someone to cater to them. I feel like they are things I should work on not needing, that having them means I need to stop needing them, or rather, that I need to work on fulfilling them myself. I would like to feel it’s okay to have them and express them and that they are real, but I don’t know how or what is appropriate and normal.

    Probably this is the only video about confidence (self-improvement) that I was able to finish. I'm an analytical person and because I work in a growth marketing team, this is probably my biggest asset. But these past few months, I tend to overthink and overanalyzed every darn thing in my life. Then I've been experiencing lots of negative emotions even with simple things.
    I started reading " Master Your Emotions", which is about self-awareness (recognizing and accepting your emotions), and I already love this book. This video about "quiet confidence" seems like a perfect combo to watch as I'm finishing the book.
    I will definitely start with your two tips which are "stop being a victim" and "slow down". And will definitely watch this video again in the future to remind myself.
    All information in this video is valuable and will be sharing it with others as well. Thank you Nika 🩷

    I hate when social media influencers tell people to 'stop being a victim' because without realizing they end up showing that while their own lives aren't without struggles (as nobody's life is), they don't understand the traumas and lived experiences of millions who did not choose to be 'victims', not that anyone chooses that. I know I should watch the entire video and I almost always watch the entire thing before writing a comment but this I simply don't want to. There is a difference between having a no bullshit attitude and telling millions of people who're actual victims of horrific abuse to 'stop being victims.' I honestly think RUclips influencers should start being honest to their viewers about the rotten core of their 'know it all' arrogant persona that they've cultivated for an audience.

      I think it's much more about not feeling you are actively a victim, constantly. " A Victim mentality" usually means you are not in control of what happens/how you feel. She is saying you can control how you FEEL not what has happened in the past or will happen in the future. Basically, if you keep thinking " I am a victim and thus feel X", you are giving your control and power away. Of course, it is normal to feel sad or angry but there comes a time when you accept what has happened as the past and control your future. At least that is how I interpreted this and I hope that makes sense.😊

    Nika, this is suchhhh a valuable video. Ty for sharing :,))) legit saved the link to this video for future rewatching! I'm not sure if you've heard of it, but my friend recently introduced me to Superhuman meditations and the app has insanely enhanced my confidence beyond what I even thought existed! All of the content centers around living as the person you've always wanted to be, and so much of it centers on building your self-image to reflect deep confidence - it's so similar to all you're explaining here!! Can't help but share because it's honestly changed my life and feel like you'd really enjoy it haha :) x
