You are right about your issues. Thats the price you pay for a cool timeless car design. :) The funny thing is, you get used to those issues and accept them as they are, as they do not bother me, anymore. For example the bad rear view: When driving backwards I just do it very slowly with the turn signal on in the direction your car is turning. This will help others noticing you coming out AND in which direction you want to go. They might stop for you or they don't, however, if you drive slowly you have LOTS of time to react if someone is approaching, entering your slim view. At first, this was always making me nervous, now it is just normal for me and I am totally relaxed. I also tell myself that all great cars (like lamborghini, delorean, porsches, you name it) have terrible rear view, because GOOD design will have this effect. All the normal to boring car designs have great visibility. :) As for Auto Stop: I drive a manual and only in the beginning it was kinda strange, now I am just have the right timing and it feels quick; I guess this might be because it is a manual, like another user stated below.
I love my CRZ 😂 though, I will say that I get past the auto stop. I just make sure my ax is on mid to high when I’m stopped so the engine won’t shut off
6. Door handles can break in the summer? I was looking around for a Honda CR-Z and got to a forum post about it. I was actually looking how much a battery replacement was.
I can see the smart stop being annoying. It's 10x easier to manage in the 6speed. If your in first the engine is on. I use ebay refurb parts for the HiD. Wayyyyy cheaper

I love my cr z it is very reliable car… 2011 I bought it brand new now it has 348k miles all original battery and transmission

Just got a 2011 crz for 1400. Came with rust but hoping to clean it up and have a nuce daily.. my current daily is a 07 fit
I have a 2011 in the same color. I purchased a security camera that mounts on the rear view mirror. No more issues.
Security for what? Is it easy to do?

CRZ shares a lot of similarities with the fit.
