@@SpearFisher85 Tell me about it. It would be nice if the show "Paramedics" was still airing on TLC as it would show viewers what paramedics experience on a daily basis and even showing viewers how paramedics in different countries respond to emergencies. The first episode of "Paramedics" I watched profiled the paramedics of EMSA in Oklahoma City during their response to the infamous F5 tornado that tore through Moore and Bridge Creek, Oklahoma on May 3rd, 1999. Some of the paramedics (like a really sweet woman named Jana Hardy) talked about what they experienced when they responded to the Alfred P. Murrah Federal Building bombing just four years earlier. Jana even mentioned the fear she experienced when a different tornado struck the area in October of 1998.

@@michaellovely6601 I'm going to search for that now. Ok, the dude who DUI'd his wife and daughter by accident? I would SO love to have given him the news when he woke up in the drunk tank with a hangover. "Hey, good news, the people you hit when you crashed into them have agreed not to press charges. Bad news...your wife's gonna charge the CRAP outta you when you get home, but she said to say that your baby girl's seat belt was on tight so she's alright. Oh, did I say too much for you? Lemme try again; you crashed into your wife and daughter while driving drunk, but they both survived you. Remember the car you ran after crashing into? Yeeeeeeah. It looked familiar, huh? Soooo...yeah. Anyway. The State's still pressing charges, but your wife and daughter didn't ask for any of the ones their injuries allowed for them to add. No, I said she told me your daughter was 'alright', not 'just fine', we took both to the hospital after your surprise." :D

It was 'all the thing' back then, but...yeah, I can live without sometimes. I guess it's fun for nostalgia sorta? :) It's also 'fun' to see things where like, "And then the suspect shoots at the officers" and officers shoot like twice and the boy's on the ground and they arrest him instead of blazing him to death with everything in all their clips while screaming how terrified for their life they were. Nostalgia there too; back when cops were mostly reliable, even if you were black! Usually, in most areas anyway. Nowadays... So, yeah, that's a dark 'nostalgic moment' for me to realize I just had. THANKS, 90'S! DARN YOUR INNOCENCE!

He was smart he knew that in that water your not dead until you are warm and dead. he had about 10 minutes before hyperthermia set in and the biggest issue is controlling your breathing when you jump in. thats what ends most people is the shock of the cold. master that and you can train to swim in super cold water.. :) well done, thats a cop whos in it for the people not the authority
