Great video, you forgot to talk about the rear lights on the black plastic strip when you open the trunk. You could see them when you open the trunk.

that was an excellent review of the lighting. most other reviewers just gloss over the lighting. also noticed that some of the plastic trunk trim and door sill trim in now fabric

Is there any projected light around the car whenever you approach it (o unlock with optional remote or phone) ? The feature like "comig/leaving home" lights on germans
Thanks for the very detailed video, it was a little biased considering everything changed was nice to you, but overall very informative. Love the addition of the rgb lighting however now I am debating whether I like the high beam and all the signal shifters reduced to a button.

Test drove one , for me not having a speedometer in front of me or a huds up display makes it a non option , cannot see me getting used to looking at the xenter screen for speed
I don't understand why feet and wheel's light are not same color as dashboard LED.

Next time when you sit in the back close the doors and turn off the roof lights just to get a feel for when someone is in there without all the led roof lights

Not off but very dimmed
hello have you noticed that the shine decreases when the car starts and moves forward. I don't know if it's a default in mine or if it's designed like that to not interfere with driving?

How bad is the reflection of the ambient lighting on your windshield?
Not.. no reflection
At night when you drive it’s really dark
I have the exact same car as in the video and during the day and night you can't barely see the reflection. There are some moments when you can see the reflection, that's for sure, but it's not all the time and it's not as noticeable or annoying as I thought it would be

Light test @night without driving? This is sad. How is the performance of the headlamps on the street? Whats about the missing matrix? Are the really small white lights in the rear bumber bright enough to drive backward? How is the picture Quality of the rear cam in really dark places?

When I engage the drive mode, my ambient light (led color ) automatically decrease the intensity, is it normal ? I would like to have the same intensity as I am choosing the color.

Am I the only one who has a gap on the left side on the ambient lighting ? In some M3s it's okay and in some not...

What are you talking about? It never had matrix functionality in previous iterations. A fancy light show or spelling Tesla is not matrix, just a gimmick, useless. Matrix headlights should only be called matrix when they actually work on public roads like in audis
They look better in night on dark streets but not huge difference
@@GreenTorque yes it had. As you mentioned it was able to project a tesla font an the wall before and now this isn't possible anymore. Therefore less abilities aka none now
@@GreenTorque and yes audi anf other German brands got it. Hence the price difference of 5 to 8k just for. It's sad that tesla doesn't have it, now that it is legal on the US as well
@@dominolehmann8227 it has the hardware, it’s just not implemented. What’s the point of drawing Tesla on the wall? It’s a useless gimmick like autopark. I believe Musk is too cheap to invest in matrix functionality because it’s not simple you know. If they can’t get a neural net rain sensor, or TeslaVision to work how do you expect them to get matrix working perfectly?
Mass market matrix adoption won’t happen until some cheaper Chinese brand makes it standard on their exported cars.
