Thanks for the extra view friend!
I love your vids man, i bought some of your bunker dirt but unfortunately i didn’t get one of the silver bars but it is a really cool item to keep. Thanks for making my day when I watch your vids
@@kurakaywan thank you for watching!
your vids are so cool man
I remember when Dan said he would never get a model 3 😂 but congrats
He dont trade anything, its just a review video
@@martinlimahe did in a video i think is in a video called taking delivery of tesla model x of his friend
13:57 this is just a review vehicle
its rented
Seriously I felt that way! That is why I'm super shocked!!! I thought I would want the Cybertruck over a Model 3 and it is totally opposite!
They way Dan said, "that's my friend" sounded like a 9 y/o kid excited to show off his cool friend to everyone. Loved that....
That funny looking metal piece on the bottom of the door is for t-bone crash protection. The door and sill now latch together in a side impact for better occupant safety.
Those tiny pumpkin looking things you found are Coyote Melons. They grow all over the desert in Mojave and Death Valley. We found a bunch of them last year when we went camping in our Rivian in the Mojave desert. 😊
Can you eat it ?
Wow. that is cool. Can you eat them? Like if you were dying in the desert and needed food those guys are out there. that would be helpful.
@@WHATSINSIDEFAMILY Not edible
@@WHATSINSIDEFAMILYthey are inedible, I still don’t know why though. I might have to do some research.
@@WHATSINSIDEFAMILYCan’t eat them, in Australia called “patty mellons”.

Dan: Couldn't have driven it one mile more.
🤣your editor
Almost nice.
My car charged funny like that, bouncing around, and charging slower than the curve. Turned out the coolant needed to be topped off. It wasn't low enough to prompt an error message but low enough to cause charging issues at V3 chargers
I think model Y will be a winner when it gets this update. Stalks are also coming from 3rd party.
I think that will be my first Tesla too. The Juniper Refresh.
the no stalks isn't actually too bad tho when you actually drive it. I think it took me roughly 2 or 3 mins to get used to it and its actually really easy
It's a nice refresh but the old one doesn't look old.
I Upgrade from a 2009 VW Polo to the model 3. its absolutely amazing! Wish you best of luck with it.
ok im back to kinda liking tesla again. That redesign looks so nice and the cybertruck actually looks way better now that i used to think.
huh it always been nice
Dan! I work for Union Pacific, That’s the maintenance of way equipment. Not sure why it is just sitting there… but that is what it is. Works on the tracks!

I feel like the ambient lighting really helps to give personality to the car, so the driver can customize how their car looks and feels in the moment.
Good refresh regrding the double pane windows , back screen , ambient lighting , soundsystem plus perforated seats ...and trunk which doesn do a slam dunk !!!
Railroad Mow equipment is for redoing track, ballast, railroad rail, rail plates and other stuff too
Do not drive to 0. my car died with 1 mile left and would not charge on my generator even though it said it was charging at 5mi an hour. it cost me A Flatbed $400 a new 12V $110 and a part that charges the 12V $600. it definitely is a potential nightmare!
Congrats Dan!! I love your videos! Been watching since I was 6!
Looks great! Glad they improved it.
Estimated range, for the first time is somewhat accurate 😂
Congrats on the excitement! This car is awesome!
The refresh looks so good 🔥🔥
We've had it in Dubai for months now, many taxi companies adapted the new Tesla Model 3 as their car...
It looks good on the road
At highway speeds too. Very nice
Glad to see the turn signals are a separate light or at least turn amber when in use. Looks sharper all around. I think Tesla did good on this refresh, especially the wheels.
Great video! I’m going to test out a highland this week.
For apples to apples the old SR had 9 speakers and no sub. The old LR and Perf had 14 speakers with 2 amps and sounds insanely good!
The new highland only has 17 activated for the LR I believe.
Congratulations on the refresh, Dan! The new model looks amazing! Can't wait to see the updates on the Model Y!
he just borrowed it
He said he will return it in 2 weeks. Check the last 20 seconds :)
Short, sweet to the point. Owesome!
As soon as Highland performance is available to order in Phoenix I'm getting it!!🎉🎉 Stealth Grey black interior. My first EV. I love the tech, minimalism, stalkless design it's futuristic, acceleration just to name a few
Isn’t that gonna be hype lol … performance always has less range etc but
Wow, it looks a lot better.
Congrats on the new car!
when you posted this vedio i was sitting in the new model 3 in a icelandic tesla dealer
I'm gonna definitely order a red one of them model 3 stickers.
I low key love your videos man❤, great job👍
The plant by the railroad tracks is a citron melon. Otherwise known as a pine melon. I live in western Texas where it’s also a more dry climate and there are an abundance of them.
Are they edible?
@@CJAM16 no
Your unemployed friend on a Tuesday:
Can you check if the mats from the old M3 fit the new M3?
Looking to get weather mats for our ne M3 to come in the next few weeks. With the snow up here, mats are needed.
Thank you
Totally saw that when driving from Vegas to Zion National Park over a week ago and thought it was very random. Did not think to stop 😂
Congratulations Dan.
Thank you. Still waiting for mine to be delivered… and I really needed someone to test the mileage and how long it will given
If you buy it get the LFP and give us long term updates on its battery health
The big question on the range test: What was the wind direction and speed? Wind can have a huge impact unless you do a loop (and it doesn’t seem like he came back to the point of origin). I can't wait to test drive the new M3
That train had train track cleaning and building rigs on it. Also that looked like a pumpkin that you smashed open.
love the mean look of Model 3
love the video dan! also i think that was a pumpkin 😂
07:58 😩
09:36 They are called track units, don't know exactly how each works, but it is fun looling at them when they are working
09:42 Some kind of pumpkin?
FYI. They are called wheels not rims. I'm holding off on getting a refresh Model 3 to wait for the performance version to be released.
Wow the new one looks much better when you have a comparison
those are coyote melons growing a type of squash they like the sandy areas.
I’m really liking the new model 3, actually considering it
Great Video! thing I noticed about the tesla is having the indicators on the boot door, say your on the side of the road and need hazards and your boot is open, then no one can see them on the rear.
There are extra lights in the lower bumper that serve as hazards when the trunk is open.
CONGRATS!!!!!!!!
Talk about range anxiety. This was a great real life example!
It took so long for it to be delivered in America. I've seen them in Dubai for at least 2 months. Pretty much every Tesla uber has been upgraded to them
So, if the tail lights are attached to the truck, are there a second pair of lights within the truck for safety just in case you're on the side of the road with your truck open, and hazards on? I thought that was a must.
4:40 on the old model 3 only é de RWD have the 9 speakers the long rang and performance already have the 17 speakers and the 2 subwoofers and 5:01 in the old model 3 at least in Europe already have the spaces open
Hi dan. those plants that were growing on the ground are gourds
One flaw I see with the rear lights connected to the trunk lid is, if you are on the side of the road at night with your hazards on don't open your trunk looking for a can of fix-a-flat. Flashers pointing upwards. I thought it would be similar to the rule headlights can't be mounted to the hood, for safety reasons.
There are extra lights in the lower bumper that serve as flashing hazards when the trunk is opened.
id be so pissed if i got the model 3 right before the refresh. but congrats. its all about the ambient lighting! lol
I’m waiting for the new performance highland hope it comes out soon
Great video as usual!!
Love it when you do these @dan!
Great video. What’s the daily charge limit on the new long range? Is it still 80%?
9:36 Crazy how similar your voice is to Ryan Reynolds
I once drove my 2018 Model 3 LR RWD 327 miles (coincidentally the same as you) without stopping...and I still had 3% left (about 10 miles). Oh, and it was about 30 degrees F...but I was driving 55mph.
I saw one of these new model 3s at Westfield Shepherds Bush (West London)
turn signal question: does it have the lane-change tap like cars with turn stalks do?... or do you have to press the button again to turn off after a lane change?
Excellent review. BTW there is there a dead pixel in the camera at the center?
Awesome video! And that thumbnail is awesome…. Thanks for stopping by!
I think the easiest way to tell the two apart is by the front, the new one looks like it's smiling while the old model looks like it's frowning.
Really Great review, how many miles after the 0 miles came up did you drive?
Please keep pumping out these Tesla vids they're pretty solid
You sound like Ryan Reynolds! First time watching your video. It's entertaining yet informational. Didn't come across like another Tesla fanboy nor rattling off the spec sheets. Especially enjoyed the detour to the train tracks. Will check out more vids. Well done.
This video was so epic, I had to subscribe to this channel.
love your videos Dan!!!
7:58 WHAT is that led strip alignment oh my GOD
8:18 dude playing right into the stereotypes 😅
9:43 Those are pumpkins😂
Waiting for the new model Y to purchase my first Tesla!!
2026
Very smart content idea
for the old model 3 u could get a wifi rater sep for it ect
You sound like Ryan Renolds lol. Great video.😄
The “up to 175 mi” also probably doesn’t assume you have 0%. You likely get that from more like 10% of charge and then start charging. Curious how that would be
The charging curve is less efficient at an extremely low state of charge. Had you plugged in when the battery was at 10 to 20%, you would likely have achieved closer to 175 miles of charge in 15 minutes.
Good to know. makes sense.
I thought it was my Apple Studio display, but it isn't. There's something wrong with your camera. Check 4.39 into the video - white dots on the front passenger headrest. Looks like dead pixels.
Yeah I had to move the video around on my display, but yup it's in the video. Has to be the camera.
Driving a model s now for 4 years had several times the screens backed out and while driving the system restarted the new model 3 has no stacks.. how to manage a situati on like i had plus 10 times with no way to enter drive or return mode..
In Europe we had this model in December!
You get 280 miles on your 2020MS? I get 300+ on my 2017 100D. Are you sure you're not being a little too heavy on the pedal?
Hmmm a lot of upgrades may buy or lease one just for my self.
The new model 3 looks awesome! But the older one is still great.
Great video and congrats on the new Model 3! Just curious, how were you able to launch a drone in the middle of a bunch of military bases? lol
Hey what's the status of you getting like 5 roadsters? I heard tesla is going to release news in the next few weeks about release date.
Congrats on owning every Tesla Dan
I’m waiting for the model y juniper. I hope it will have a new battery with more range. Some sources have said it would have more range than the 3 highland
I’m being patient as well. Currently have a 2021 Y with 51k on the odometer.
Reading the newest book on elon Musk. Those early versions of the Model 3 were questionable at best. Have come a long way. Will be considering a tesla for my next car. Waiting for the performance model 3, the price for the performance model honestly is cheap all things considered.. You're literally getting a Hypercar that is better in almost every way for less than $60k, that's just insane
We are getting a Model Y next month after having an Audi E-Tron since 2021.
Can’t wait to see what it’s like
Model Y After E-Tron? That’s pretty wild!
@@StefanVlD yea, gonna be interesting to see what the difference is. The e tron is a few years old now since it’s a release model and so far it’s been a great look into the world of Ev’s
@@JasperF12how reliable was the E-Tron?
@@JasperF12 Nah keep the E-tron until the new model y comes out.
@@edgarc3091 The E-tron was excellent. Only time we had an issue was when we got it beached on ice (obv not the cars fault 😂)
But yea overall it was solid
(Would love to see What’s Inside cover one 👀)
im saving for my first car about 4k its a 2010 subaru impreza or this 9k subaru forester but after my 1st car im going for that love it
thank you
Love that car. 🎉
Isn’t it illegal to have brake lights only on a moving part of the car? Does the new one have a back up?
