As a Turkish man who lived all his life in America, it's so nice to see this. It reminds me of my mothers cooking it brings so many nostalgic memories for me watching this simple but delicious stew. Thank you!
I personally LOVE bean soup. I grew up eating beans out of a crock pot with butter bread. This strikes a nostalgia chord with me. And it looks absolutely amazing. Turkey has some of the best cuisine in the world apparently. And you bring us the ringside view, brother. Thank you!!
@@HungryManKitchen yea bro. It's become oh so clear. I am gonna do one of your dishes and shout you out and try to get you any subs I have your way that you don't have already. You are a master, dude.
Just when I thought this dish was sheer perfection then the sizzling butter was added oh my goodness gracious me Hungry Man this Turkish White Bean Stew is to die for. What can I say? Hungry Man Kitchen has gone and done it again creating another delicious and superb dish right in front of me, bravo big time my friend 😋👏👏👏!!!
I love a comforting and delicious bean stew like this. So satisfying! The video is so relaxing to watch. I would like this bean stew with some bread on the side too. So yum. Lk 10 😋🤗
You always open your videos with a mouthwatering shot. Love this recipe and the clay pot you put the bean stew into. It all looks simply divine and so delicious! ⭐👍😊
Very nice looking bean stew! I bet that had some heat to it 🔥 I'd like to give this a try! Looks so flavorful, and I would opt to add that butter drizzle at the end, I can only imagine how that tasted. Cheers!
Looks delicious, I'm gonna try this one soon! Just one more question: When you say it's usually served with şehriye pilav and onions, what exactly do you mean by onions? Just raw onions or in a quick pickle with parsley, salt and sumac? I've also read that it is common to eat it with pickled vegetables like cucumbers. What do you think of that?
It might sound interesting but yes, raw onions. It's a very traditional and rustic way of enjoying kuru fasulye in Turkey. If you google "kuru fasulye ve sogan" you may see some photos of it. Yes, pickled cucumbers are also commonly served with this, I love it! So, you dip your bread into the sauce, have a spoonful of the beans together with a slice of onion. It's a matter of taste of course, non Turkish people may find it weird :)
It’s just like we make kidney beans in India just that we don’t add meat and there are a few more spices it’s a really popular dish here and it’s called rajma chawal
Eating this on the side with some good old pilav, yum. Although I like pilav better with a spoon of strained yogurt or "kaymak gibi kaymaksız" and a pinch of salt.

That looks soo good
Interesting to learn your traditional dish and thank you....noted that boiling bean until the foam disappear could reduce the gas.👍
Glad you liked it and yes, simmering them on low heat will reduce the gas 👍
Mouthwatering!
Interesting video
I would also suggest minze, better if its fresh but dry is also good
Similar dish popular in Morocco too
Looks very delicious 😋😍

Instead of "sucuk", i would prefer "pastırma" in this. Good work Mr. 👍🏿
Heerlijk! Supersiniz 🤩
Çok teşekkürler :)

Narration would have been better, the font is so small too
👍👍💞💞🌷🌷
Nice but do Mach chillies 🥵
Arkadaşlar sakin 3 tabak yemeyin mideniz bozar ben suan hastanedeyim midem yaniyor 🥲🥲
No salt needed in soaking beans makes them hard to boil!
Turkish sujuk was not fermented. unfortunately you used a heat-treated artificial sausage.
Which brand of chili paste did you use for this, and what is a good substitute if I can't source it?
I usually order from online Turkish grocery suppliers in NL, but the brand called "Oncu" is usually available in the supermarkets, at least in Europe.
