Got one for the wife and drives really nice! Takes a while to get there but it is a super ride over you reach above a15 mph
Looks like a Nissan Juke fucked a chevy spark
Who the fuck starts a conversation like that
@@kylekiene779 I do
Great video....I’m having my mother in law watch this as a reference (in case she forgets how things work). I took her to the local Toyota Dealership this morning. I had every intention of making a deal on a RAV4. She saw one of these cars, and loved the looks. I have to admit I thought the RAV4 was a better look but she loved it. We drove it and she thought it was great so...she got a CHR....cool looking younger car I thought...but she has one, and she is in her 80s.
I researched all of the cars in this class. #1. C-HR #2. C-X3 and #3. HRV were my top picks until I found the Hyundai Kona. A white Hyundai Kona Limited is the car I finally purchased two weeks ago and I'm loving the car!!! I must be one of the first on the road here in Dallas. More car, similar tech, solid build, tight ride, dual clutch 7 speed transmission (NO CVT thank goodness!), fast (especially switching from normal to sport mode, it's like getting 2 cars in one) and great styling all for less 💰💰 with a better warrantee. The only thing I see when driving are heads turning and traffic in my rearview mirror!!!
It's a Diamond design on the door. You can watch/hear the lead designer talk about it. The diamond design is throughout the entire vehicle. Button, taillights, body design etc. Nearly everywhere applicable.
This is a very impressive review. I have bought this awesome crossover. Like it very much. 👍
the led headlights and led tail lights should have been an options for the US market. Makes the car look more modern and sharper than the halogens/traditional bulbs. Weird backup camera placement as well when you already have a main screen. Hopefully the next MY can address these.
I rented the hybrid version of the CHR a couple of months ago in Istanbul. An amazing vehicle. Roomy, quiet, good power and handling and of course... Great on gas :) Also, it was in mid July, hotter than hell and the AC was absolutely frigid. Now back in NJ, I'm seriously considering the purchase of one. Thanks for the review.
Thank you for the video it’s very informative because of your video I’ve decided to purchase this vehicle and I’m very happy 😊 with it.
Thank you... Please share this video if you can :)
I love my C-HR XLE 2019💕
Will there ever be a hybrid, plug-in hybrid, or electric version of the C-HR? Will there ever be a lot of safety features on that vehicle?
Funny how different the CHR is in different countrys. In Germany you have the back cam on the normal screen and the Radio is toally different :)
Nice car I would buy it for the future ; )
I wish auto manufacturers would get away from the piano black touches. It may look nice but leaves finger prints and such behind and shows scratches very easily. And what is with the "diamond" pattern every where in this vehicle? On the head liner and door trim areas. What's the point? And the "G force" meter? What would be the purpose? Rear visibility not so good. The lever for the cruise control seems a little dated really.
+MikesCarInfo I like the new intro👍
Great video Mike just purchased a radiant green one with the white top yesterday. Loving it!!!
+Eddie DeHart Like this? ruclips.net/video/g3G70Q3KN7E/видео.html
That's the model I bought my wife, went to look at a RAV4 and she drove a few not exactly impressed by it. Then when we drove the CHR she really liked it, asking what colors it came in and seeing the Iceberg Radiant Green in the brochure hmmm it was over. They had a black one and a blue one with a white top, so they had to get one from their other dealership in Charlotte. Anyway wife is happy, so all is well in my world, as they say happy wife equals a happy life!
Omg I think ima get it
Awesome videos.
Hi Mike. Do you know if the backup camera in the rear view mirror can be turned off in the vehicle settings/menus? Thanks.
I wonder if: 1) they can come manual trans 2) the may have the keyless option 3) even thought it looks cute the roof of the car. I wonder if a model will come w/sunroof.
(9:30) It's not a spare tire, it's a "doughnut" and yes, every new car comes with one! On another note, it will be interesting to see how it stacks up against the Honda CH-R.....
niceneezy Not true anymore.
Name one....
+niceneezy 2016+ Honda Civic, 2014+ Jeep Cherokee, new model Chrysler Pacifica Top trim model, Hyundai Ioniq, I can go on forever. Not to mention sports cars like Corvette and some Challengers, BMW and so on. A spare tire can be purchased as an option on some vehicles like the Jeep Cherokee but others don't have room for one.
+MikesCarInfo abcnews.go.com/US/gma-investigates-cars-sold-spare-tires/story?id=36435661
The only two things are missing here the Electric Seat Adjustment and the Steering Wheel Electric Adjustment but for the car it is my next one.
I'm impressed with its looks but it's performance is so awful. 0-60 in 11 seconds? 144 horsepower? Are you kidding me? I know this isn't a sports car but at least have it's performance somewhat match it's looks because it looks so good. At least make it perform better than a Prius or Corolla for godsake!
Just a reminder that you put "CHR" in the title twice.
Awesome videos. I really like that you use the sunshade. Helps show off the dashboard alot more. Do you ever take requests for cars ?
I rarely have an opportunity to fulfill requests however you can still make them :)
Ahhh. Its okay :). Your videos are still jammed packed and explain more of what people are looking for. My only request is the Hyundai Ioniq
I started filming that car but the dealer sold it before I can finish. Waiting for another one to arrive.
Thank you :)
Please watch this: ruclips.net/video/2_j-3PXwP8Y/видео.html
I like it
Hmm I gotta have one the color is beautiful too
Excellent, detailed review!
This is still a good vehicle for me to afford.
Just picked one up same color same trim
Cool car mike
If your CHR is the XLE version then "Where" are the fog lamps? They are missing, and there is nothing but a round, black plastic mold where they should be. Are you sure you've got the right model??
What makes you think the XLE has fog lamps?
www.toyota.com/content/ebrochure/2018/c-hr_ebrochure.pdf
I agree, I have the XLE, and mine came with the fog lamps, push to start ignition, key looks different to this one & has the seat warmer option next to the temperature controls, as well as the CHR logo night display features from the side mirrors. The model in the video is not an XLE version, sorry Mike.
Very informative
If it had a roof rack, awd, and higher ground clearance it would be better than the crosstrek.
visualkeirockstar roof rack is an option. My wife got a 2018 with the roof rack.
Muy bueno tu video. Pero hay un problema con el idioma. Pensé que en la configuración me daría la opción de subtítulos. Una lástima. Me gustaría tener la traducción. Gracias.
wow
talk about cheapening out for the American market, Asian markets get LED sequential signals in the front, rear LED signal lights, and LED headlights too
Hi Mike,
Other models and prices? Android Auto & Apple Car Play? Back up camera lines move with steering? Also, in the whole car there was only one 12 volt power outlet?
AWD or front wheel drive? Thanks for the video.
i like the grey with black on the top. i thought its a hybrid. btw: amazing car.
Thankyou for your awesome videos!❣️🙏🏾
Nice car!
Awesome and very detail video.
Very good video but dang , how many ads can be in 1 video
10:15 Startup
looks like nissan murano, juke and chevy but finally toyota have a semi fancy car!
I was really interested in the C-HR. The design is really cool and reviews say the dynamics are great too. But, the lack of so many features was a major deal breaker. No AWD? No LED headlights and taillights? No Softex seats? And then there's that awful Navigation system with no Entune. I was really hoping for an AWD hybrid, but I guess that was never meant to be.
Akshay Mahesh Well in Europe and Japan has AWD option ut in the US they don't have. If you want LED headlight then you have to get XLE Premium because it has 2 trim level XLE and XLE Premium. You should go check it out on www.toyota.com and all the info you need is on that page. Thank you.
Neither XLE nor XLE Premium has LED headlights (only LED DRLs). Both have only projector-beam halogen headlights. Still very disappointed in the C-HR.
Akshay Mahesh Maybe you should look at the new Lexus UX. It is built on the same platform as the ch-r and is about the same size. It might have those features.
Akshay Mahesh Also, the ch-r was supposed to be a Scion, which might explain some of the missing features.
I didnt find back sides seats are comfortable to sit. in long drive it hurts for person having long legs.
You sound really impressed. I was thinking about trading in my 2015 Corolla S for the XLE premium. Do you think it's worth it??
Richi Camacho I just traded in my 2015 Corolla LE for the CH-r XLE!!' I'm happy with the purchase lol i definitely think it is a good upgrade
The Ghost Of RUclips lie more
keep the Corolla, cause it's pretty much the same car. but i think it's worth it.
Great video do you know if they make car seats for that
+MikesCarInfo, what exactly is the cargo capacity in this car seats up/down? I can't even find anything on Google.
+landyachtfan79 Info in description :)
Mike, do you prefer this or the '17 Corolla 50th anniversary edition?
No heated/ventilated seats, heated steering wheel, moonroof, premium sound, leather seats, navigation. Looks like everything went to the rims too basic in the interior. Those suicide rear pillars should have some kind of see-thru area.
This is the base model.
YES FINALLY! No push start 😀
Dustin Hart If you want the push button start on this car you have to get the next trim level is XLE Premium to get Push button start. Go to www.toyota.com and all the info on there.
Lol I am happy about no push start. I don't like push start. I like having a key.
Dustin Hart Same here. Sorry for misunderstanding because I misread your comments. I like the key better than push button start. You never know what will happen to push button start once it is malfunction.
How's the a/c on this? We have a Honda hr-v and the air conditioning is terrible. It does not release enough with power so the passengers in the back are sweating profusely. We are looking to trade it in. It's a major downfall with the hr-v.
BrittneyVlogs: you would have to check one out for yourself, but iam familiar with Toyota being that my uncle works at one. they have the best climate control for a vehicle, but i haven't looked at this car yet. i been checking out the new Camry and Tacoma cause that might be my next vehicle, but the AC is fantastic. i don't know how big your back passengers are, but the HR-V has better back seat space than the Toyota CH-R. i think the CH-R is designed more for a single or couple with no kids. but as i said, go check one out.
BrittneyVlogs this has dual AC. Very good. I have the XLE- Premium
We have the 2018 premium and the ac is great, and dual climate control is a big plus
looks like a nissan juke mixed with a 2017 honda civic
optimuz08 I agree with the Juke look but Honda actually copied Toyota!
MikesCarinfo do you know if any hybrid available on this model
what are the stabilizers for ?
Any type of navigation?
i don't like Toyota but this car make me think different
Lester Reyes it’s kinda slow but dives really nice and sporty
I was wondering, is it inexpensive because they cut down on the level of steel used in the body like the Hyundai and Kia? Hyundai and Kia are tin cans with wheels.
i hope they have AWD and Turbo like in japan
car would sale so much more if they made the thing with a manual transmission. They should've also turbocharged as well. Car too under powered. Looks good no doubt but very weak. Or they could've went tesla style with it and let it be an all electric car. It would haul ass.
no all wheel drive wtf
similar to an Scion XB
People still buy red color cars ??
not sure what they are trying to do here there i no options for leather there is no back up cam and no moon roof wtf?
please do the all new toyota camry 2017
I am pretty sure I did at least one 2017 Camry... maybe more.
MikesCarInfo MikesCarInfo so sorry! I meant Camry 2018 since you reviewed CH-R 2018!!! just excited to see the Camry 2018
might as well get a rav 4
I love TOYOTA, but I don know why they
don't put PANORAMIC SUNROOF on the TOYOTA CHR in TOYOTA YARIS in all HYUNDAI cars have PANORAMIC SUNROOF from the cheapest to the top of the line, come on TOYOTA hook us up with the PANORAMIC SUNROOF PLEASE...
Carlos Amarante and give it at least 170hp with AWD automatic transmission instead of crappy cvt. Meh meh meh
This is much like a Corolla IM except it sits up a little higher and looks nicer. Not much more to offer.
Toyata X Commission on Human Rights :D
No 2Liter version here is Europe....
bro i have a chr its 144 hp in 11 seconds it goes to 65 speed
SHOW E BOLA
Synth-wave intro? SUBSCRIBE!
Only if it had a manual
No hybrid no party
I would buy it if it was at least 335-500 hp with a v6 engine and it was turbocharged seriously what was Toyota thinking of making this sporty looking car I4 engine with a cvt...ewww I am grossed out. Also, I wish they at least put some paddle shifters with 8-9 speed automatic, then I would have bought it 100%. Plus, I want this thing to go AWD no FWD.
👍
the rear looks like a honda and the front looks like a rav 4
Jeremyapps Well Honda took that concepts off Toyota CHR concepts in 2012 on the Rear End. Toyota didn't copy honda at all. Honda always copy Toyota. Even Honda is ahead of Toyota technology but some minor stuff in Toyota has and Honda have to copy.
Jeremyapps Every Car Manufacturer does this, I mean look at the highlanders tailights look like the Cherokees.
I didn't say Toyota copied Honda, I just said that they looked the same
Yap
Dont think theres a car Mike doesnt like
Exactly :)
my wife wants that red and the yellow.....toyota please make the yellow available....that red is not sporty
EvendimataE red or not, it's a sport.
first! ha😃 Edit: is it me or that car is similar to Honda HR-V its 25% similar😕
James Ferraris sounds like that's only you
It is not a 2018 car.
28:02
2018 Toyota Chr XLE AWD 3/10/2017
Only if Toyota would offer Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. Because the Entune really sucks.
This is a civic hatch SUV.....
CanalParanauêh wrong. The C-HR design came first before Civic. So this is a full fledge C-HR.👊🏼
i own a 2019 c-hr gle. it is the most utterly piece of crap. after 2
years of ownership and 40k miles it makes me wish i had bought a yugo!
spacious: somewhat
good mileage?? not in the least. my 1990 suzuki samurai gave 45/50 miles
to the gallon.
battery is out in less than 2 years, so were the tires which lasted
about 38k miles.
noises from low workmanship. it has them all. currently, in slow turns,
the steering system cracks, rattles and moans constantly. and then
there is the ever bubbling sound after it gets warmed up. what did the
dealership service department say all and every time i took the car for
inspection? they said that there was nothing wrong with the car. a
yugo's the way to go.
suspension. it bottoms up every time with the slightest depression on
the road. the front absorbers (struts or rubber bands or whatever they
use to deal with this) is so horrendous and the japanese mechanic at the
dealership says there is nothing wrong with the suspension. a yugo is
the way to go!
i am telling you guys and gals, save yourselves the aggravation of a
great looking piece of crap and buy yourselves a yugo!! the 80's and
90's yugo that is!
It look like a bald baby rav4
I don't really interested in cloth material
no noooo i still want a tesla model 3 or s..
cheap interior no sunroof it's not worth it
Not to you directly but I’ve seen that people that complain the most can’t even afford them.....
motor 1.2 litros 👎bosse motor 2.0 litros turbo 210 PS 👍✌✌👏👏👏
to much clutter, it's nothing different than the rest of the Toyota's...
Rip off of a hrv
Chr
Hrv
I now need bleach
Intro is much much too slow for many of us to stick around.
Is this a vehicle that you are interested in buying?
my first thought is this car is super ugly.....
Why? we already have a Rav-4 and if you something bigger, there is the Highlander. More pointless models.
Will most likely become a best seller :)
Sam Lung This is intended to appeal to the younger crowd.
Sam Lung It ain't pointless dude. It's pretty impressive.
Rav-4 for old ladies, Highlander for older guys, married. this C-HR makes you look younger than those groups mentioned above...
I cringed so hard when you turned the wheels while the car was sitting still. I know you were trying to do a cool effect, but damn dude that was awful to watch
Why?
Obviously bad for the tires lol the only people I've ever seen do that are women
Obviously bad? Please explain.
If you don't know why that's bad for the tires then you have no common sense 😂
If you think it is bad for tires then you have no common sense.
See I can make baseless and asinine assertions too :)
Ugly I tell you ugly! Why is he so impressed?
I think it looks cool :)
I'm sorry just stating my opinion
No reason to be sorry we all have different preferences :)
Zach Cook Better looking than Nissan Juke. I am waiting for AWD option next year so I will hold off this year car. I am waiting for 2018 Toyota Camry(Late Summer) and 2018 Subaru WRX(June 2017).
