    Hello Ask A RDC, I just graduated this month and can't tell you how much these videos helped ease a lot of anxiety and fear before I joined. This was so accurate and you explained things so clearly and got rid of a lot of misconceptions out there! Thank you so much for these videos, I appreciate all the time you took to make these!

    At 7:00, what all was wrong with his teeth? I want to join the navy but I have multiple broken and missing teeth. I thought your teeth had to be fixed before joining?

    How difficult is it for an RDC to adjust their expectations when picking up a new division right after graduating another division?

    • @askardc
      @askardc  Год назад +3

      Personally, it is frustrating. It can be almost confusing at first. Luckily, I had great partners that reminded me and helped me adjust back to P-Day training

    Random question. Do all the RDCs know one another, or would you sometimes run into another RDC and have no idea who they are?

    • @askardc
      @askardc  Год назад +1

      There are a few hundred RDCs and a class graduates every 3 weeks or so. You may recognize each other but yeah there are plenty that do not know each other. But as you move from ship to ship, you get to know a lot.

    So I absolutely suck at running and pushups I've been averaging around 16 minute mile and a half and 13-20 pushups, I am seriously worried about failing the physical assessment

    When taking the drug test during P-Days, do they watch you go? (urine sample)... I have an extremely shy bladder so I think it will be impossible for me to go if I am being watched ;(

      I had the same issue… just drink a ton of water til you literally can’t hold it any longer. It’s what I had to do and it worked, still do for my tests…

    Do they do the same range of motion type stuff they did at meps?

    • @askardc

      All that stuff they do at MEPs. Red Rover during P-Days is more updating your medical file.

    Is every division integrated now? in 2012 we had an all male div, is that not normal?

    • @wehatetimmy
      @wehatetimmy 7 месяцев назад

      Just Graduated a few days ago, all male divisions exist speaking from personal experience should be a 50/50 mix of all male and integrated divisions

      If they need to be, they should be assessed in P-days then taken care of on the dental availability day

    Weird to see females and males combined like this. So glad that we were segregated back in the 90s.
