After baby is born and momma and baby are still in the hospital someone should bring a blanket that the baby was wrapped in back to Duke so he can have a scent of the baby so when you come home Duke will have that familiar smell of the baby already.😊

Biggest tip of all....Tiffany... sleep when baby sleeps night or day. Lawson.... don't hover too much + take a nap occasionally also so you can keep up the pace. Accept help when asked.

especially when you can do that, a lot of people are not blessed with a huge family and people that can help so if you do never take that for granted it is such a blessing to have!
I'm so excited for you. When you hold that little guy for the first time you'll think your heart is gonna burst with the love you feel for him, for each other, for your family and most of all the Lord. It'll be greater than you ever imagined. It all goes by so quickly. Its like time is dragging now but once he's here time flys. So just soak it all up. Sweetie don’t worry about labor ❤ I was 17 when I had my first baby. 2 hours of labor and that was all pushing. She was 7 lbs 2oz. I only had three stitches ❤ I had both of my children natural with no pain meds. I wasn’t a Christian at that time of my life so I could only imagine how much better it would have been with the faith and love of Lord. Please don’t stress. Enjoy it all ❤ love and prayers to your precious little family ❤

My baby boy is now 53 and I am still enjoying him everyday! Don’t be afraid and enjoy the journey!
I used to work for a homebirth midwife, and the advice we always gave first time moms was, gravity works so standing up getting under a warm shower that is a relaxing way to get through labor. The other things we used to tell them is remember in your head contractions usually don’t last any longer than a minute and you can do anything for a minute! One minute at a time. Blessings to all three of you❣️ As a matter of fact, I worked for the midwife that your sister-in-law, Esther‘s mother went to. I remember when Esther was a little girl.

Remember not to tense up when you’re getting a contraction. Try to concentrate on relaxing your body and breathing through the pain. Ride it out while you are relaxed. It helped me. Hopefully it helps you as well. You got this.

Traveling will definitely be different but understand that their will be fits and melt downs, not just by the kids 😉...it is so worth it to experience the world through your children's eyes and an incredible bonding experience. July 11 6lbs 5 oz. 🙂 Not every first pregnancy is long labour. I pray you are blessed with quick labour like I was for both my pregnancies. Once my water broke, my first son was born after 45 minutes of active (pain) labour, and my second son was born after 15 minutes. Ill be praying for all 3 of you! God bless! ❤

Biggest tip is for Lawson. Mom of 3 here, raised 3 sons and the biggest help my husband gave me, even though I was nursing is getting the baby at the 4:00 am feeding and changing it, then handing it to me in bed. That was the worst time of day for me. Luckily began bottle feeding 3 weeks in, baby wasn't gaining weight, so we both shared in all the feedings, thru the night too. Just do not let Tiffany do everything 24/7, burnout is real. My husband shared in everything. Good luck guys!

And I wanted to just take a minute and give my condolences on Hope because I didn’t know y’all went through that but praise the Lord that baby Hope is back with God. You both are so resilient and truly both lights for the Lord. And it does show that you both lean on the Lord for your comfort and strength and understanding. God is truly blessing you with this little one now.
It always feels like you are the first one to give birth with your first one. It’s ok to do what makes you feel comfortable.

It is just so sweet watching the two of you together. These are some of the most beautiful moments. Remember to just take it all in, breathe, rest love each other especially when you are really tired. Enjoy your beautiful baby boy.
My first one was 7lbs.13ounces. the day before i got this burst of energy, and bought a
Lot of groceries, and made a few dishes for poppa. Some in the freezer. Thats a really good idea. Food already when you get home. beef stew,chili,homemade chunky chicken soup. Youll be grateful you did. Trust me! The next day jason came.
I hope labor and delivery goes well! My best advice is trust your body and do what you want whether its pain meds or not. Make sure Lawson knows what you want during labor. I was focused and quiet to get through the process of labor and delivery. You both will do great!

Tiff, mom of 6 babies here. Make sure to take deep breaths during labor. Intentionally relax during contractions and let your belly "drop", literally think of it dropping instead of tensing and pulling it upward bc of the pain. I got a lot of comments from nurses how calm i am during labor, it's because of something really silly: I sing the Abc's silently or count by 3s in my head through every contraction. It takes my mind off the pain a little plus gives me a way to measure that the end of the contraction is coming (usually right when i start on my second round of abc's). When you feel the baby right there ready to be born, push into the pain, don't hold back and make it longer on yourself. Also love the birthing ball, ask for one. I think it's part of why my labors are very short.

My first kiddo was 4 days late; second was 2 weeks early; third and last, on her due date. Each person and pregnancy is different. I had a ton of energy from start to finish. Decades later, I still have people tell me they can't believe how much energy I have. Lol. Suggestions are nice, but ultimately what you decide to prayerfully do is between you all and the Lord. 😀

My first labor was less than 2 hours. My second was 75 minutes. The doctor told me if I have anymore I better camp out on the hospital lawn. God blessed me with 2 short labors.
As a Birthing Center RN, I can tell you how RARE labors that short are.
Wow, short labors! I was in labor for 3 hours with my first baby and 3 hours with my second. Both natural births.
Mine was all natural too. Bc they were so quick. My first one came 2 weeks before my due date. And my second one was 4 weeks before my due date. Neither were preemies. Even with ultrasounds they were off on due dates.
@@beckyl4206 my first baby was 1 week early and my second baby was also 1 week early. A lot of people warned me that I would be in labor for many hours since it was my first and the first is always the longest. They were so wrong.

Take 6 weeks to just take it easy on yourself mentally, emotionally, and physically after baby boy is born. Also, the bucket list family is a wonderful example of how you can travel with kids even when they are little. My husband and I traveled with our kids (military family). We have wonderful family memories, even from when they were little. A word of advice is help your little ones learn to adjust. When we were home we had hard and fast rules on bedtime, but when we were traveling we adjusted. If it was for more than a couple of days, we got them back on a looser schedule. Make it work for your family. Don't revolve your life around the "normal" schedule on vacation. The kids (as they get older) will not adjust to change as easily. The kids loved vacation because they looked forward to staying up a little later and us playing games together (even as 4-5 year olds). We have traveled all over Europe and America, and the memories we have made are special treasures. I hope you guys make wonderful ones too.

One last minute tip if you haven't heard. Take an item to hospital that you can mentally zone in on (focus) during times of labor. Maybe a stuffed animal at end of bed.
Get epidural if possible.

I had boy girl twins. Didn’t know there were two, and delivered at 32 weeks. God is so good! My doctor suspected but i went into labor before my appointment that was to happen the day they were born.. Everything went perfect, both head down perfect birthing position! They were healthy and only stayed in hospital 2 weeks to gain weight! Praying your experience is as wonderful! ❤️🙏🏻🙏🏻
