Coming from a mother and grandmother, keep the house noise as it's always been. The baby will adjust accordingly. The hospital is not quiet with people in and out. Enjoy your new baby
I agree I vacuumed and left them to sleep in the lounge room during the day when visitors were coming and going.

It’s so sweet seeing Lawson care so tenderly for his wife after she did the very hard work of bringing a human, their child, into the world.
That is definitely different than a Duggar upbringing
I found the Bates through The Duggars. I always thought they were a lot more “normal” than the Duggars. That might be rude to say but when I found out that so many of the Bates kiddos had their own RUclips channels I was so excited to catch up with the family. I think I found Carlin and Evan and the Stew crew first. And I found the rest pretty easily. I’m amazed at the differences between the two families. I think it’s so wonderful how Lawson and Nathaniel have remained so close and now their wives, Ester and Tiffany have become close.
I swear Lawson has been the most precious father throughout this pregnancy. I never would have guessed it. I have never seen a birth story through the father's perspective, as this has been. Such a sweet eye opener. And Tiffany is already the best of mothers. You will be excellent parents. ❤ Enjoy every moment, it will not come again.

DO NOT be extra quiet in your home. You will be sorry if you do. That baby will sleep through anything if you let him.
Yep, as a mom to 5, I agree! We were so quiet with our first, and he would wake up easily. The next 4 could sleep through anything! 😂

Lawson is hilarious! 🤣 I loved the whole thing with the carseat and lifting Tiffany up the steps. "Go as slow as you need, we'll get there eventually" 🥰 So sweet! I can tell Lawson is going to be a Fun Dad!

I think its cute Lawson is helping but with the next one she'll just bounce up and get going bc she'll have 2 to take care of. My first c section was rough, my second I was up carrying a 2 yr old within a few hours. I told my Dr I needed 5o get out of bed and walk. I also demanded a cheeseburger afterwards even though you're suppose to be on a liquid diet for 24 hrs. I threw it up but honestly it was the best burger I'd ever eaten 😂😂 the day I has my gallbladder removed i came home and cleaned my entire house ans scrubbed my floors by hand. I never can sit still or take it easy.
Didn’t Tiffany have a vagina birth? Why is Lawson acting like she can’t she walk?
Gil and Kelly have truly left a stellar Example for their children. You can feel the love between all of the children, and the love that each and every grand baby is greeted with. But these Bates men, treat their women like a wonderful treasure. And that is a learned behavior, well done❤❤

Well, babies can hear while in the womb; so he’s probably already used to Lawsons voice and the Bates chaos, LOL!!!!!!❤️
lol probably my oldest heard my dad play and keyword guitar and the accordion while in my belly and after he was born if he could not sleep my dad started to play accordion and sing and voila my son was hard asleep 😂😂

No matter how many babies you have been around or helped it is totally different when it is yours. Lawson acts like he has not been around and helped babies. Too cute.

Food is for the care of the patient. The medical society doesn’t think food is medicine. And it is so import for a healthy healing body. They fall super short in this department in all hospitals across the country! God bless all, glad you’re all headed home to be in your own space and comfy home.
I hope tiff is ok! I haven’t seen anyone not able to move their legs. Praying for her! You guys are amazing and I’m so so happy for you.

Yes, I was wondering the same thing. Like why is Tiffany not able to walk or take those steps into the house. A little confused. But congratulations Law and Tiff..
There are some ladies who have side effects from the epidural. My sister was one of them; it was several weeks before she began feeling normal.
Tiffany and Lawson, you two are doing great! Take as much time as you need to recover; but don't wait too long if you need to see your doctor if your feel worse.

@@shirleywhitehead3059 that would make sense! I just had never heard or seen that before. I know it can be sore but to not be able to walk up a step or slide legs into the car was something I had not seen. I hope she is doing much better now as time goes along.

I had a c-section and was able to walk and go up and down steps the next day. Tiff if you’re having problems please talk to your doctor, everyone is different but don’t be afraid to speak up if something doesn’t feel right.

@@nikkiryerson6196 she might be feeling really weak. I was with my first and the night I got home I felt super dizzy. I passed two huge blood clots.

I had 4 c-sections. I know Tiffany didnt have one, but just my two cents! One thing I learned was to not sit around too much. Go for short walks around 5he house, down the driveway, a little further each day. You don't want to get stiff! Will is just precious!
Yes! I had a complicated emergency csection and as soon as I could feel my legs they had me up constantly walking. They barely gave me a break lol.
Yes I agree I think she has gotten stiff due to sitting around too much I was up and walking as soon as I had mine but everyone is different but she needs to move more
Agree! I gave birth naturally and I was up and walking straight away! I’m in the uk. They do not give you a wheelchair! I had second degree tears and was very sore but was constantly moving. No hate but they are treating her like she has a C section.
@@amyspiggies5870 yes I think they r treating her like an invalid I had stitches was sore but I walked she can’t even walk or climb stairs come on not being cruel but she’s a mum in Australia they leave u alone no wheelchair here I walked across the road to my home she had 3 days so should be able to walk she’s being a bit moddlecoddled she needs to be more mobile
@@amyspiggies5870me too! I was curious why the Ob/Gyn or midwife would not have told her to move her body more. Maybe she had some other complications we don’t know about. Lawson was super sweet with her, though.

Oh sweet Tiff!!! You must have torn during delivery! Staying for 3 days and moving so slow!!!! I’ve been there!!!! It’s tough!!! My second was no problem home next day snd moving around as if nothing happened!!! Lawson is a wonderful hubby taking such great care of you!!!! Beautiful family of 3! Let the adventure begin!!!

Nothing beats being a first time parent and brining your baby home. Almost 16 years later and i will never forget walking out of the hospital with my newborn.

At the beginning when Tiffany asked who he looked like, little Will was doing an eyebrow raise and then the camera went to Tiffany who did the same eyebrow raise! He’s darling! And I’m excited to see how he changes and who he looks like in the upcoming weeks❤

I didn't realize your videos were about 2 weeks behind. My goodness, Tiffany, are you ok? I don't think it's normal to not be able to move around no more than you can. I had a c-section and didnt struggle like that . Hope everything is ok and you're feeling better. Congratulations again, guys. He's absolutely perfect!💙
I struggled like that but it’s because I tore so bad.
I also struggled that bad with my first because I got a 3rd degree tear as well as destroying my pelvic floor from pushing too long and way before I should have. I just had my second and also got a 3rd degree tear but am able to walk around much more normally than the first time because I only pushed when I needed to and slowly
@@rebeccaoushana9657 That is horrible! I'm sorry you went through that. Seeing Tiffany move like that concerned me so much. She could barely lift her feet. There's no way you could experience something like that and not be very, very sore. It's amazing what our bodies can endure. Women are warriors!
@@angelalong4573 I couldn't imagine. Through my whole pregnancy that was what scared me the most. I had to have an emergency c-section so I didn't have to go through that. I'm sorry you had to experienced that.
Many times there are lots of stitches that are needed.......

My newborn advise. Keep lights low for night feedings change diaper before feeding,,, snuggle but don't. talk to him so he gets used to the quietness of night stays sleepy and goess back to sleep. During the day feedings, talk and keep awake for a bit then put down while still awake. He learns to soothe himself to sleep. He knows the days from nights much easier. ❤❤

I agree with everyone else, that said Tiffany needs to move more. She didn't have a C section so it seems unusal to have trouble walking. I hope everything is ok with Mama. Don't hesitate to go back and get checked out if you are having problems. Those sitz baths that they give you to take home from the hospital are wonderful for helping to heal down there.

I was up a couple of hours after 18 hours of labor. Got home from the hospital and started dinner and laundry. Seriously 😳
Thanks for loving your wife like you should. We need as many of these examples as possible, I'm convinced it would cut down on all of the postpartum complications.

Newborns are constantly changing their features. Until he gets a little older, he will be looking like both or neither of you. 😅 He is adorable! Hands down Tiffany’s pretty hair!

I had two children and the second one was much easier but the ice packs (down there) were a gamechanger to help prevent swelling. Got
along much better.

Hospital food is made for patients in large portions with a variety of dietary needs, it’s not going to be full of flavor. Baby is adorable!
Our hospital has a gourmet menu. You call in your order & specify what time you want it served. It always comes hot. You can order fromMexican, Italian, American, Asian cuisine. They even serve tenderloin steaks. They say if you don’t see what you want on the menu, ask & they’ll do everything to get what you want. They know what diet you are on & they know what your current count is such as sodium, calories, etc.

This had all the feels... and humor. I think baby William is a good mix of his mom and his dad. Their little looks change so much in the first year, and then they seem to change a little by 2 and about every two years after that. It's interesting to look at my kids when they were little and now when they are young adults. They change so much, it's amazing.

Exactly ,, loud, never turn the tv off or any other noise, they will adjust,, my cousin had her baby, kept everything quiet, she wasn’t sleeping, I went to spend some time with them, brought a noise machine, put her right out,
