So cool to see you make kransekake! I'm a baker from Norway, and have made so many of these! It looks beautiful ❤️ You did a good job with the name as well! 👌🏻🇧🇻
Thank you!! It was super fun and delicious!!
Here's an ambitious project idea: for Pride Month next month, a seven tier cake, each tier a color of the rainbow AND the inside of each tier the cake layers dyed to represent the colors of different pride flags (lesbian, transgender, nonbinary, asexual, pansexual, etc...)
Obviously that's a lot of work 😅 but I think it would be a really cool and June would be the perfect time to do it!
Love the show, glad to see you guys again!
I made a Lemon Blueberry cake with lemon cream cheese icing from scratch because of JRR and it turned out beautiful - it was my first homemade cake. My husband and neighbors said it was scrumptious but now they have HIGH expectations…dang it.
Ooh, the classic dilemma of the follow up efforts😄 Do you match it or try and outdo it? And then it just keeps going... I wish you all the luck in the world! Maybe do different categories of baking so that they can't directly compare?
You deserve millions n millions of subs. Been watching you since your last show. Im glad I came across you. I was bummed when your last episode showed. I had no idea you had new show. Keep up the great content.
Welcome to Denver! I live here too. Great to have you with us & good to see you guys back on the channel. 🎂 🏔
You all are baaaack!!! 😂😂😂♥️💀🧁💀🧁💀♥️
YOU'RE BAAAAAACK! My kids and I have missed your videos so much! My dad's family is Norwegian so I made one of these for Christmas this year, but combined it with your croquembouche recipe to make... a kransekakembouche. It was amazing.
Also, I would love to see baklava with a JJR spin!
JJR AND THE GUYS!!!!! I can't believe it took me about a year and a half to find you on a different channel! I just finished binging all of your videos and I'm sooooo happy. 🥰🥰🥰 Missed you!
Seriously, where have you been all my life?!! You've been gone FOREVER. Glad to see you back! This cake looks like so much fun! So many possibilities.
Your banter is the reason why I can't watch at night because I laugh and wake up my parents 🤣🤣 love the channel. Please keep me messing up my parents sleep. Worth it.
Not from my homeland, but there’s a dessert from Germany called Stollen that I think you should make. 🖤😄
I love DENVER! We live in Australia and spent a couple of weeks exploring Denver a few years ago and we absolutely loved it. If we were to move to the US, Denver it would be!
I have missed you guys so much, an episode a week would be the best!!
I live in Scotland and the only thing I can think of that's a proper Scottish cake is either a teacake, shortbread or a proper scotch dumpling. Basically a boiled fruit cake that is sometimes eaten with custard and for some reason people might have it with a fry up. Teacakes can differ depending on where you by them, but I'm talking about a proper teacake so it's a biscuit with what is essentially mallow on top and then dipped in chocolate. They are as addictive as they sound.
Missed you guys!!! Fantastic new cake for me to try!
A Norwegian may not approve but I think you Kransekaka looks better than the traditional design. I'm so glad to hear you'll be putting out more videos. I've missed you.
Welcome back, I missed you guys!!! Love from Portugal, in fact i would like to recomend a portuguese dessert called, Pão de Rala. In fact, in the south of the country you can find sweets called, Doce Fino Algarvio, which are sculpted into various forms and painted. Once again, love you guys
Also, the Ikea and meatball jokes would've been more appropriate if it was a Swedish cake 🤣🤣🤣
Norwegian chef here! I am totally making this for my family christmas party this year🥳
Whaaatttt!!!!! This is so grate!!!! I`m from Norway, and your norwegian is grate.
I spun around in circles, flapping my hands and laughing deliriously when I saw a new post from you.
OK, not really. But it is really good to see you all again!
just a few days after our nationalday, 17th of may! 🇳🇴🇳🇴🇳🇴
New video 😍 yeaaahhh
And more to come 🎉
That brings me pure joy 💜
Welcome back! I am from Trinidad in the Caribbean. Our traditional cake is a rum soaked fruit cake, called black cake. Was originally made for Christmas but now it’s made anytime. Also used for wedding cakes here. You should make this cake.
Yayyyy finally 🙌 so good to have u all back x
OMG!!!! I missed you all so much! So happy to see this video. 🫶🏼🥰🤗🤟🏼
OMGEEEEE IVE MISSED YALLLLL SOOO MUCH!!!!! JJR AND THE GUYS!!! YALL ARE AMAZING !!!! LOVE YALL🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰🥰😍😍😍😍😍😘😘😘😘😘😍😍😍

Yay!!! We've missed you guys! My children all came running the minute they heard your voice ☺
LOOK WHO IS BACKKKKKKKK!! FAVORITE CAKE BOSS!!
I HAVE MISSED YOU JJR AND CREW. I love this video and I love how you all showed the chocolate ganache being poured out like food porn.
As a Norwegian I want to make a more fun kranskekake next time 🇧🇻😊 this was so inspirational 🍰🍾
I'm Danish and Kransekage is what we have at midnight on New Years every year.
I need some more ganache slow pour vids in my life. Cool cake!
Ty JJR for another wonderful cake!!!!
So glad y'all are back!!!!
Yay! Glad you are moving here. 😻
I’m Norwegian, and my aunt makes this for various different occasions, the most recent being my grandparents’ 60th wedding anniversary! The original recipe is super good, but this looks amazing, too!
Yaaaaayyyy I missed you your videos so much!! I hope you keep making them! Love you❤️
I love the show, you guys have inspired a lot of my creations, thank you.
When you were describing you putting your stank on it decoration wise I immediately thought gold and thought you almost went without it... until the fruit😂
I would love to see you guys make a beach themed lemon cake with blueberries, for the Summer
So glad you are back I have missed your baked creations! Gotta say it would be cool if you made ANZAC Biscuits on your channel. Always wanted to see what you (and Brandon and James) would make of them… and with the pronunciation it is biscuit not cookie 😁. Cannot wait for the weekly videos!
JOSHUAAAA! I MISSED YOU! And the boys too 🤣
This cake is so fun! Thank you for showing us how it's done! I want to give it a try. Welcome back to Denver! How about this snow at the end of May!? We have about 8" at my house! And Still snowing! Before anyone asks...nope I do not live in the mountains! 🤭
They're back! Love the show!
Missed you. Glad you are back.

Great video!! Happy to see you guys again 🤩🤩🤣😂
fy faen … ok, we are MOSTLY “NORSK”, spread between SoCal and France, and we loved ur episode, despite National jokes and recipe deviations! Thank you!!!! Tusen Takk, Godt Nytt Aar!!! Oxo Flogstad Familie (1 in Denver!!!!)
Glad you're back!
I have missed you and the crew so much!!! You inspire me to bake new and exciting things. I can’t wait for the next video!!

I saw your YT short a few days ago and was like, "Oh yeah, I guess they have been gone a while." Watching this made me realize how much I missed you guys. 😆 💖
hey you!!
mr. cake dude
its nice to see you!
Uff Da! In my hometown of Decorah Iowa we have Nortic Fest, a Norwegian festival. You should try making lefsa, a savory potato wrap with butter and sugar,so good!
YES YES YES!! I love your videos and am so happy! Been really stressed because of school lately and your videos always give me good energy! So thanks to you guys!😊🥰
They're BACK!!!
Hi JJR and The Guys!! Missed y’all so much! Love the cake 🎂 🥰🥰
I was once a guest at a wedding where the wedding cake was a stacked cheesecake! It would be really cool in assorted flavors!
My Son Jacob (5years old) and I are so excited your back 🙂🙂🥳😁 we are from Australia and our national dessert is a pavlova. Normally decorated in fruit 🍇🍈🍉🍊🍍. We would love to see JJR put his stank on that 😉😛🤪😜
I'm so excited to see you back! I was missing YBD so much that I was even dreaming about it! This is an awesome cake. Thank you for trying it! Now that you have the ring pans you can make cake rings to add to your other cakes when you aren't using them for the Kransekake. Keep on rocking! ❤️🤘
OMG, you are moving to Denver! Maybe I’ll run into you someday. I used to frequent the building where Craftsy used to be because my husband worked in that same building. He told me he could see all kinds of creatives working in there. So cool!
This is such a good idea! I usually can't stand the taste of kransekake because too much almonds taste like marzipan to me, and I don't like marzipan.
I am from the southeastern United States and Hummingbird cake is popular. It is a banana-pineapple spice cake.
In my home state of Alabama, Lane cake was invented. It is a bourbon-laced baked cake with raisins, pecans, and coconut.
Either of those cakes would be interesting to make and try.
I wanna see him make a smörgåstårta both for more ikea puns and because i want to see if he can handle the savory side of things xD
Yesss!!
What a great looking cake. I always love when you put your spin on things. They always turn out great. Congratulations on the big move. I've really missed you guys. You brighten my darkest day. Thank you for sharing and keep on caking 💜
Congrats on the move! A dessert I learned to make from South Africa are koeksisters. Super yummy and beautiful! Would love to watch you make them
Yes! Koeksisters are our best dessert - that, or melktert! 😍
Love that you guys are back! Please make a cake that has every type and colour of sprinkles you have on it!! It would be a mythical and legendary cake
New show title: "You've been KRANSEKAKED!"
So glad to see that you guys are back, and I'm happy to hear that more videos are gonna be coming in the future.
Also here's a fun fact: Kransekake is also eaten in Denmark at midnight on new years eve!
I love this one! So different from normal and beautifully decorated!
Congrats on the move!

Oh YAY!!! I've missed you guys!!! Totally Made My DAY!!!💖💖💖💖💖💖💖💖🤩🤗🤟
Do Dominican Tres Leches (or Cuatro Leches) with Dominican Meringue!!! Or just Dominican cake with Dominican Meringue!
That was so cool!!!
Yay yay yay!!!! Love you all! Bring me so much joy! ❤️
Love your shirt! Just sadly moved to Memphis from Denver! Miss my mountains!

I have missed you so much. Please stay
Thank god you're back, lovely cake
Oh yay! I'm ahead of you time-wise and kept checking your channel all day yesterday! Now, I've woken up today and your video is here!!! Love the finished cake, it's beautiful. And so glad to hear you and the team ... you're so uplifting! 🤩 ... and YES to one episode a week!!!!! 🤩 I'm resident in Turkey atm and have also been in Greece. I love baklava ... I'd love to learn how to make these. OR Turkish Delight sponge cake made with leftover turkish delights!!!!!🧁🍰🎂🍪🍩 🤩
My daughter thinks you should make a rainbow cake with a pink unicorn on top with a mermaid standing on the unicorns head and whatever candies you want! (She suggests candies stars & pearls and fruits and maybe flowers)
What a lovely surprise to get a notification from your channel! In South Africa we have koeksisters which is probably eaten at all parties where sweet treats are served. It would be great to see you try your hand at these. 😁🥰🥳🎂🍰
Hi I'm happy your back .
Where were you guys!
What a cool idea to focus on cakes from various global identities! My suggestion is for either a Filipino Sansrival cake made of cashew wafers and butter cream or a more recent concoction known as the Ube Overload Cake. =)
Welcome back!! 🧁
Sooooo glad you’re BACK 👍👍 I’m sure you’ve been busy packing for the big move. I saw this cake made on both GBBO and The Great Canadian Baking show. It’s kinda tricky. Ahhh, and how cool James and Brandon are in Denver!! Oh and the hard to put together furniture…ahhh…that’s Sweden not Norway 🤪
Your Kransekake turned out beautiful. Worthy of a Norwegian wedding…💕💕
Sooooooo glad the gang is back. Would love to see your spin on Pav’
💗❤️🧡💛💚💙💜🖤🤍🤎
Welcome back to Colorado!!!!!!
I'd like to see you put your own spin on a classic French croquembouche.
How are you Joshua John Russell? Great to see you here..
I'm so excited to hear you're moving to Denver!! I live close to Denver, although I know the odds of me getting to meet you is very low 😆I'm so glad YBD is back, I can't wait for more episodes in the future!

Princess cake from sweden!
