I borrowed a Countryman for a longer term test drive, and them a clubman, and chose the Clubman to have more of the MINI driving experience. Having the lower opening height for the boot was a plus for me too. I have a number of pups and one has had knee issues all her life and for to get in and out is much easier with the Clubman. I live in Spain and drove my Clubman through 12 Spanish disctricts the last two years. Love love love the car. Twin Turbo, barn doors, low ride , spunky and fast and very good seats for long rides. Also love the looks of my Clubman in British Racing Green.
@@Timotarius_ Yep. My first Mini was a black Cooper in 1976. After Celica, Mazda, Audi, Jeep and Jag XJS I am back with Mini again, now BMW not Morris Mini. Also still looking for a resto mod Celica ST 1974 model, loved that car too.
I absolutely LOVE my Clubman but have been thinking of swapping to a Countryman for ages as I need something bigger as it’s a bit of a squeeze for two dogs and some luggage. I’m so glad to hear it still has the go-kart feel, that’s helped me decide. Thanks!
I am heading over to the Mini dealership today and have been debating over the clubman or countryman. Clubman has captured my heart!!! Thanks for an incredible and well made review and video.
Have had the F54 Clubman for about 7 months now. Took the family from NY to Toronto, Canada. And I must say, the ride is SO comfortable. The 10 hrs drive made it feel less. Wish the duration of the trip was longer because I enjoyed every mile behind the wheel. Mind you, the boot was packed with all our stuff (Two strollers included). The car loves to cruise between 75-90 miles per hr and the fuel consumption on the highway was really good (abt 34 mpg). And I must add that it’s a looker too. It gets a ton of looks from people wherever we go. I will buy another in a heartbeat.
Nice comparison, PP! The better head and legroom sold me on my '20 Countryman JCW over the Clubman. I have a very long torso, so most cars don't fit me. It is the *only* car with a sunroof/moonroof I have ever been able to fit in comfortably. I also managed to fit a large-sized Specialized Roll sportbike in the rear by turning the front wheel/handlebars 90 degrees. It's a tight fit, but it works. I agree about the analog driver binnacle vs. the digital. I'm seriously thinking about the Remus exhaust though after I upgrade to the Michelin PS4s. On my local MINI club runs on b-roads, I have yet to be left in any other MINI's dust. ;-) I cannot help but grin ear-to-ear every time I sit behind the wheel of my Countryman, and it is definitely my favorite car I've ever owned. It drives like a much smaller car, but with a comfortable ride and great utility in the back seat and boot.
Well, I watched, I tried NOT to have preconceived ideas, but dammit the Clubman is such a handsome beast compared to the bloater Countryman, its still Clubman all day long for me!
Thanks for this detailed comparison. I tested both the Clubman and the Countryman thinking I'd like the Countryman more. But I picked the Clubman in a manual for the lower seat position and the fun of really driving the car.
having owned and loved my F54 clubman for a few years now, the choice for me is a no brainer. the Clubman is the finest vehicle i have ever had the pleasure to own. this one is on rails at over 100mph down the old river road along the Mississippi in south La every weekend. the rarity and performance of my green goblin always gets a nod of approval and some healthy respect from the U.S. muscle monsters out here also. Not to shabby from the little MINI that can.....
Your mini F series content is why I got my first 2 door hardtop and now my first clubman JCW. It's unfortunate Charlie bit the dust but I am still a big fan of all your content and mainly your old mini/ fiat content!
I have re entry become a fan of your channel as the JCW All4 Clubman is on my wishlist. This video was a superb comparo of these 2 Minis and extremely informative. Thank you for the time spent and looking to see more content from you on Minis.
Love the reviews! I had this conundrum. We now have a 2019 Countryman JCW in our garage. Love it. We can fit the four pups (and the wife) :). My bike fits in back also! Good stuff. Every time I start her up it brings a smile to my face. But, I do love my 2019 GTI. It is APR stage 1 (300hp, 320 torque). I am torn between both. BTW, if you are ever on this side of the pond and want to borrow my GTI, we have our own “Tail of the Dragon” in the North Carolina mountains. BD in NC
I have been in-and-out of a Mini dealership for the last 3 weeks negotiating for a 2017 clubman JCW due to it's condition. then last weekend, I test drove a Countryman S. LOVE the clubman JCW!If it were ONLY FOR ME, Clubman JCW ALL4 due to it's power delivery, well planted driving dynamics and nearly fully loaded of options. But since my significant other states she's 50-50 (since she'll be driving it more).... I borrowed a 2019 Countryman S (fairly optioned) and show it to her, she preferred that. Over all for practicality, space,etc... Picking up a 2019 Countryman S ALL4 2 days from now
Love your Channel! Good comparison! You might want to change this bit in the description; 'I put my 2019 Countryman JCW up against the latest 2021 Countryman JCW in a range of tests...and the result are in !'
I just ordered a 2022 JCW Clubman last week and am doing the waiting game now. Your love affair with Charlie helped me to pull the trigger for the JCW option.
We got my wife the countryman cooper s all 4. On a b rod it’s rediculous capable for a car that is so practical. Chuck it in the corner on the brake rotate and stamp on the power it’s a really great way to attack a road. I had an M140i and dynamically the countryman was better. Then I got F80 M3 and that blue the mini out the water but that was a £70k m car. Now I have a discovery 5 thanks to having a family and a big dog and wife 7 years on still has her countryman which we bought new in 2017 when these things launched. We specced with all toys and it still tick so many boxes that we struggled to replace it. In the same time my wife has had the countryman I have had R53, M140i, F80 M3, Porscher Boxster, mini F56 (another R53) and a discovery 5. The problem is the mini just does so much. If I wasn’t 6ft 3 it would probably be our family car. But getting a child seat behind me in anything smaller than the disco was impossible. But once the kids are out of rear facing car seats the countryman ticks most of the boxes. I suspect we will keep it until it is run into the ground.
1:38 - "the only thing I’d change from a styling point of view:" goes on to just mention stripes so I'm thinking ‘oh, no flaps on this one…'. 3.03 - ah, there we go, that’s more like it! :P Another very interesting review thanks Ped, I’d happily take either one (although probably the clubman myself too if I had to pick just one)
I have a Clubman and would still pick it every time. I carry canoes and kayaks on the roof rack so the Clubman means I can still get into the boot easily and not worry about the hatch not opening properly or getting damaged.
I bought a new JCW CM all4 in 2018 from St Louis Mini. I loved the car. Then, in 2020, I bought a new 2020 JCW CM all4, which I still have. It only had 27K, so it is still in excellent condition. I wanted to test drive a new Clubman in 2022 while my car was being serviced. Everything was good until I couldn't find my car insurance so they wouldn't allow me to test it. I have been driving Minis since 1968 I bought my first one in Northern Italy. I intend to continue driving Minis until I can no longer handle a car safely. I hope that means another 75 years or so. I have the only JCW in Cape Girardeau; people love looking at it. It is White with Red Top and stripes on the hood and side!. I’m as happy as a mouse in a cheese factory. Contented as a Carnation cow. I’m ready to get the 2024 or 2025 now. I may try the JCW Clubman, though. Live strong and prosper.
Interesting Pete, another comprehensive review. I have driven a countryman (only a Cooper) as a lone car, and I was quite impressed generally. I was also offered a test drive in a JCW countryman when I ordered my Clubbie as they didn’t have one of those to test, but I declined. I knew how special the new JCW Clubbie was going to be and I certainly wasn’t disappointed. The extra space in the Clubbie compared to my previous hatch is like a barn to me and very useful so I’m more than happy. As previously mentioned somewhere, I have the adaptive dampers on mine and on normal setting they give a ready good ride. In sports mode they stiffen up to give a firmer ride but this is still very comfortable unless you hit a potholed road at town speeds. I drive from 30 miles Brighton to Chichester and back every day to and from work. In the mornings it’s usually mid mode from the trip with the occasional blast in sport mode. Coming home 90`% of the time it’s in sports mode with dynamic traction switched on😜, easily drivable in town and all the way home. Quite often my route changes to go through Amberley, Storrington , Steyning and down past the cement works to the flyover. I love my Clubbie 🤗 The only thing that is frustrating my is the fitting of a rear dashcam. Easy on the hatchbacks but I cannot seem to find the best way of installing one on the Clubbie. The barn doors swing away from the body as they open so it’s not easy to route the cables. How about looking into this and doing a feature just for me-it would really help if I could find a solution (beg, beg, grovel..etc). Love your vids mate, always a pleasure to watch.....(that’s another grovel).😂👍
@@PetrolPed I’ve always fitted them to my cars in the last few years. Had them on every one of my 4 Mini’s. Most people only fit front facing ones, but I tend to fit a rear facing one as well. However, as mentioned the barn doors on the Clubbie has presented a challenge that I haven’t overcome yet. In your world you may have come across some expert installers of such things perhaps....? Best wishes, Mark
Always hated these, until today.....I’ve ordered a cooper S Sport clubman as my company car....stunning car! I’ve always been an R50 guy and laughed at these for their ‘mini’ size in comparison, but I’m converted now and glad that I am.....great reviews mate!
I absolutely love my Clubman, but it’s clear to see if I ever needed to get something a bit more spacious that it wouldn’t be a massive sacrifice going into the Countryman. Thanks- I really enjoy the channel and the reviews, really entertaining and interesting!
Great review. 👍. Two very similar cars. We run a Clubman as a daily and love it. Great driving position and handles great. The base Cooper could do with more power though. One of our esteemed members tells us the Countryman JCW runs better on 18’s than 19’s 👍👍
I have a three MINI family. The '05 R52 cabrio for zipping turns with the top down...pop, pop...growl. The '21 Countryman SE All4 PHEV which is only topped by the JCW in the 0-60. As a daily drive it delivers 60 mpg winter- 80 mpg summer doing the 40 miles to work round trip. I just added a "19 Clubman S All4 8 speed automatic with paddle shifters...It is a solid comfortable MINI and delivers punch in Sport mode but averages over 30 mpg when tooling around town and back. The driving fun factor list is R52 Cooper S 1st, next Clubbie, last Countryman...the last two being so much alike inside that they are operationally interchangeable.
Спасибо за прекрасный обзор.Я из Москвы и давно искал такой обзор,потому,что не могу определиться между этими машинами.Я даже после обзора не могу определиться,но перевешивает практичность кантримэна..
Recently drove a countryman when my clubman was in for a service. Like you say bit more practical for getting lots of stuff in. That said, I still love my clubman. Better driving feel, as you said, you feel like your sat in the clubman and not on it, like the Countryman.
I do love the look and the colour of the Clubman but I love the height of my Countryman. I want to have a try of the Clubman just to compare. Loved the comparison thanks 😊
I just ordered a JCW Clubman. I'm not planning on modifying it to the extent you do to yours, but can't wait for it to arrive. One of my previous cars was a Clubman S All4. It was easily my favorite car for long distance drives, looking forward to getting back into something similar! Just a little disappointed I have to trade in my JCW Coupe to do it, but I'll still have my MC40 for a weekend car. And I've also had a plugin hybrid Countryman. While neither of my previous big MINIs are the same as these 2 300hp MINIs, I knew you'd end by saying you still prefer your Clubman. They're just more fun all around than the Countryman! Better looking, too.
I have a coupe 2009 JCW and a regular Countryman (2013), I love both of these cars equally, but for daily driving in the Miami FL heat and traffic I take the countryman, and for fun going to the beach with my wife I take the JCW no matter traffic or weather, they are so fun I don’t get reed of them.
Thank you so much for this video. I had a test drive in both hybrid and the 2L Countryman and am driving the 2L Clubman this week. Not sure I can stretch to the JCW much as I’d love to. After the test drive of the Clubman I’ll make the decision which I’ll buy. Thanks again. I love your channel.
Surprised by the difference in passenger leg room but Charlie every time for me. Loved the format and thoroughly enjoyed the vlog. Hugs for Darcy, cuddles for Hallie.
I drive a2022 JCW COUNTRYMAN in Rebel Green (very close to the original BRG), After owning and driving no less than 8 previous BMW’s in the 3 and 4 (and my last one was a 540i,) I can say unequivocally that this is the most fun I have ever had driving anything t I LOVE my Countryman ..so do my 2 dogs,,,,, Cheers
Thank you for sharing. I’m looking into purchasing a Countryman but was keen to see the difference in the Clubman and for a petite mature woman you have just helped me make my mind up.
Always great videos. As for this particular video. I love the clubman. My wife has the three door JCW. I have a Volvo v60 ( old model ) Get my race bikes in no bother. I fancy getting a clubman though .
Well....Countryman because of the better practicality/size, better comfort and 90% Mini handling quality would make it better for me mainly because my wife could get in the Countryman. Driving..yes the Clubman is better but the low build makes it a car for younger people...it would not worry me but anybody with arthritis or mobility problems must choose the Countryman. The looks.....little in it as both have some detail challenges but the Clubman is more “sporting”....however, for me the Countryman is a better option. An interesting comparison though! Thank you Peter! Stay safe...Richard😃😃😃😃
We're in the process of buying a 2019 Clubman JCW, largely based on your reviews, especially your trip to Bruges! After lots of research and searching, I managed to find one with lots of extras at a great price. No roof bars but surprisingly very few seem to have them fitted! I thought being more of a family sized car, more would have them. Aesthetically they look great too. Ah well. Thanks for your video's, really enjoy watching them!
Good comparison, esp the rear space. We have a countryman and going to upgrade soon to a facelift Cooper s. we were looking at the clubman instead but less rear space wouldn’t work. Thanks!
I’ve got to say it Sir Pete this comparison video didn’t disappoint at all! Thank you so much for doing this video! The video quality and audio was spot on! I’d have to say though for my little family the countryman is definitely the way I’d go! I’ve got 3 little ones and need the extra space for sure. Definitely enjoyed the mud flap gate joke to lol!! I speced a countryman and did you know you can get a dark blue leather interior now? Also hoping for the best for darci.
Great video! Love the rear doors of the Clubman, but needed the extra room of the Countryman to accommodate my two 6' sons. I have an F60 S All4 manual and love it. Definitely need to test drive a JCW.
Love my 2015 F56 MCS Manual F56 has sport suspension option fitted so firm but never as harsh as the Fiesta ST's,Full JCW's body kit even has the extra Aero and 2 tone JCW wheels that would take the Brembo brake kit if needed so all but the red front grill line of a JCW,i have just a £23 Pipercross air filter stock replacement.a £90 Resonator delete and a used TMC tuning box £60 off Fleebay Electric blue and a very good spec, you don't need to spend a fortune to improve your Mini, and i owned a 2015 Fiesta ST M7 but never fell in love with it's interior or comfort.
Great comparison, we had 2018 clubman S ‘fantastic car’ the countryman is OK but my Wife hates it. So when we needed a bigger taller car easier to get into for Farther in Law and wheelchair, and more rear room for teenager. We went for a CX5, which is brilliant. On putting a bike in the Clubman, I go with rear wheel first, turning front wheel fully, my Giant Road bike goes in easy without removing the front wheel, so it would be swallowed up by the Countryman.
I would pick the Clubman for driving pleasure. But if I was restricted to one car only, with 2 kids I'd pick the Countryman. You've changed my opinion of the Countryman, I didn't think they behaved like Mini's, I was expecting it to wallow in the corners. It's pretty close to being a fun, sporty family car!
I can see why people would prefer the Clubman, but as a family man, I just can’t do it. I love my Countryman though. It’s beautiful, fun, and a joy to drive. Maybe when my kids move out I’ll get a Clubman.
I’ve been waiting for this review. I own a 2020 JCW Clubman and I’ve driven the 2020 JCW Countryman. If I did a vlog I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have concluded the same. Excellent review! 👍
@@grahamlake9728 nope. I agreed with Pete. Prefer Clubman which is why I own one. But I don’t think the Countryman is ugly at all. I just prefer the Clubman. Mind you it’s different for a MINI. To each their own.
Awesome Pedro. It’s the clubbie everyday for me but if we go out as a family with luggage the countryman edges it. Still get the odd smile but find it does roll a bit too much if you’re pushing on in the twisties. Stay well
@@PetrolPed It arrived in the USA on Wednesday and at our dealer in Pennsylvania on Friday. We get him (wife named him Olaf) next Friday (14MAY21)! We are both excited. I still think my 2013 Camaro SS convertible will be faster (496hp/525lb/ft) but I can't wait to ride in the JCW. Maybe she'll let me drive it. lol
I just ordered my 2022 Countryman All4 JCW this week though it's going to take forever to arrive. Stripes included. But let's just say the true MVP of this video is the phrase "ball wanger".
I have just purchased a 2021 minin countryman JCW and thinking of upgradding to the remus race exhaust. However i'm not sure of the sound as it seems most is played through the speaker. The clubman in this is slighly older and has more pops and bangs. Will the remus improve the sound on the countryman to be similar.
I've had a Love affair with the Clubman for many years never owned one though. But now I'm in the midst of trying to acquire a 2019 countrymen JCW and from all the reviews I've seen it's going to be a great car I've had test drives with it and I really think it's going to reflect my personality. I also like how you did a comparison between a stock vehicle and a slightly modified vehicle. And made it seem so fair great comparison.
After owning my Countryman for 2 years I am looking at picking up a Clubman. The reason for the possible change is how my Countryman handled on the Dragon. Though he hung in there it didn’t feel confident through many of the turns. I will say the space is great and day to day driving is fun I’ve driven a clubman and that feel is just a bit better for spirited driving.
Hubby and I are looking to purchase this year. I’m looking at the countryman right now. My hubby is 6’3. The car will be for me but he may need to drive it sometime.
Great video. Very tempted to change to one of these. I almost had an JCW countryman as a courtesy car 2 weeks ago. Ended up with an auto 21 plate Clubman S. Never driven an auto before. Was fun kangarooing it out of the dealership (didn't tell me about the brakes being very responsive)😂. Way more comfortable than my 3dr f56 Cooper Sport.
Had me at Countryman when you couldn't fit in the back of the Clubman. Great review. Ordering Countryman this week, LOADED model.
How exciting. You will love it 👍
i need rear seats

Love this 👌
Well, I watched, I tried NOT to have preconceived ideas, but dammit the Clubman is such a handsome beast compared to the bloater Countryman, its still Clubman all day long for me!
LOL 😂
Agree!
I love the bloatiness of the Countryman, it works well with the design language unlike Fiat’s 500L neo-multipla design
Thanks for this detailed comparison. I tested both the Clubman and the Countryman thinking I'd like the Countryman more. But I picked the Clubman in a manual for the lower seat position and the fun of really driving the car.
👍
Picked up our Clubman JCW on Thursday...We're in LOVE!
Mega cars 👍
I've had both, Clubman all the way for me.
Im want to buy clubman im student I don’t have much money for problems does it worth to buy its not the s one thanks
Great video Pete, the wife and I were in stitches watching you trying to get in the back of your car.Obviously not a back seat driver.
LOL 😂
Clubman drive may be better but I need more space so I am getting a Countryman! Your comparison of the two is excellent though and incredibly helpful!
👍
having owned and loved my F54 clubman for a few years now, the choice for me is a no brainer. the Clubman is the finest vehicle i have ever had the pleasure to own. this one is on rails at over 100mph down the old river road along the Mississippi in south La every weekend. the rarity and performance of my green goblin always gets a nod of approval and some healthy respect from the U.S. muscle monsters out here also. Not to shabby from the little MINI that can.....
Best car I’ve owned too 👍
Your mini F series content is why I got my first 2 door hardtop and now my first clubman JCW. It's unfortunate Charlie bit the dust but I am still a big fan of all your content and mainly your old mini/ fiat content!
Thanks Edward 👍
Thanks for the comparison. It’s always been my battle to figure out which one I’d get. I’m leaning towards clubman!
Why the battle? Just look at them. How could you even consider a Countryman?
BD in NC
Great video. Just bought a 2021 Countryman JCW and it puts a smile on my face every time I get behind the wheel 😁
Ace aren’t they 👍
I have been in-and-out of a Mini dealership for the last 3 weeks negotiating for a 2017 clubman JCW due to it's condition. then last weekend, I test drove a Countryman S.
This is amazing 👍
Nice review! I have both... I own a 2013 Clubman for my lonely rides alone and I have a 2023 Countryman for the family... Perfect combo!
Nice 👌
just came across your channel and you thoroughly convinced me to buy the Clubman Works. Love from Austria
That’s awesome 👏
Clubman for driving experience. Countryman for practicality
😂😂😂
The clubman is for me. The countryman is just too far away from my original mini concept. Great video peter.
Thanks Andrew 👍
Thoroughly enjoyed your review. Thank you!
I want a Countryman... I always have!
I have a Clubman and would still pick it every time. I carry canoes and kayaks on the roof rack so the Clubman means I can still get into the boot easily and not worry about the hatch not opening properly or getting damaged.
Good point 👍
I got the countryman as it’s better all rounder for speed camera Britain plus it’s my retirement car
Great review again Peter 😎 still struggling with Corona but haven’t put the JWC Countryman out of sight
I love my Clubbie 🤗
The only thing that is frustrating my is the fitting of a rear dashcam.
Thanks for this. I’ll have a think about dash cam. Not something I’ve ever really thought about 👍
@@PetrolPed I’ve always fitted them to my cars in the last few years.
Thanks mate 👍
One of your best comparison tests so far 👍
Thanks 👍
Agreed!
Great review. 👍. Two very similar cars. We run a Clubman as a daily and love it. Great driving position and handles great. The base Cooper could do with more power though. One of our esteemed members tells us the Countryman JCW runs better on 18’s than 19’s 👍👍
Thanks Guys 👍
I think the Countryman is probably better for a long road trip, which is why I have been eyeballing it. Great video, thanks!
Probably. More space and a slightly better ride 👍
Спасибо за прекрасный обзор.Я из Москвы и давно искал такой обзор,потому,что не могу определиться между этими машинами.Я даже после обзора не могу определиться,но перевешивает практичность кантримэна..
Love my Countryman... Handled beautifully along the Rocky Mountain switchbacks of Wyoming... but your video inspired me to check out the Clubman.
We ordered and just took delivery for 2022 Clubman in racing green with silver roof + strips, Mrs loves the car!!
Very nice 👌
Just ordered a JCW Countryman…had to go for the slightly more practical option to justify the purchase to the GF 😂 this video helped tremendously!
Great to hear. You’ll love it 👍
Thank you for doing this review, Just purchased a Countryman vs a Clubman from the dealership based on your review. Need more cargo space.
Great to hear. Congrats on the new car 👍
Thanks Natasha. You should try and get a drive in the Clubman. I’m sure you’d enjoy it 👍
I just ordered a JCW Clubman.
They don’t really need mods. Perfect out the wrapper 👌😜
Clubman is epic. Good to see a 0-60 test.
Are you buying new or used ? Both brilliant cars 👍
I think you are one of the best motoring journalist out there
Wow thank you 🙏🏻
I know that hill! 😂
Love the look (and sound) of the clubman. Would love one of those!
Surprised by the difference in passenger leg room but Charlie every time for me. Loved the format and thoroughly enjoyed the vlog. Hugs for Darcy, cuddles for Hallie.
Cheers Tim. Darcey back to normal now 👍
I drive a2022 JCW COUNTRYMAN in Rebel Green (very close to the original BRG), After owning and driving no less than 8 previous BMW’s in the 3 and 4 (and my last one was a 540i,) I can say unequivocally that this is the most fun I have ever had driving anything t
I LOVE my Countryman ..so do my 2 dogs,,,,,
Cheers
We just bought a used 2014 Countryman for our son. It is a blast to drive. I've always had big Cars and I would buy a other mini in a heartbeat 💓
Thank you for sharing. I’m looking into purchasing a Countryman but was keen to see the difference in the Clubman and for a petite mature woman you have just helped me make my mind up.
That’s great to hear. Which will you go for ?
@@PetrolPed Definitely a Countryman
@@carolinecox4594 aaaargh!
0 to 60 in the countryman is way off... I hit between 4 and 4.4 secs in mine. Love you my friend!
Always great videos. As for this particular video. I love the clubman. My wife has the three door JCW. I have a Volvo v60 ( old model ) Get my race bikes in no bother. I fancy getting a clubman though .
A lot of good comparison's covered👍. I like the rear hatch on the Countryman & the black & red paintwork.
Another great video. Clubman for me. I just can’t take to the front lights on the Countryman. They look lost!
Hi Helen. This is great to hear. That was a fun trip. I had the same problem when I bought mine. I’d find a car with perfect spec and no roof rails 😢
@@PetrolPed you found yours eventually though! Hurray! I’m so looking forward to getting ours 😊
Good comparison, esp the rear space. We have a countryman and going to upgrade soon to a facelift Cooper s. we were looking at the clubman instead but less rear space wouldn’t work. Thanks!
I've owned both and I prefer the Clubman... it's just got that cool factor and true Mini feel...and Barn Doors!!
🙋🏻♀️
@@GenaF 🙋♂️ hope you have a great weekend
Cheers Bud. Darcey all back to normal now 👍
Countryman For Sure. I am waiting for my Countryman JCW 2022.
Great video! Love the rear doors of the Clubman, but needed the extra room of the Countryman to accommodate my two 6' sons. I have an F60 S All4 manual and love it. Definitely need to test drive a JCW.
Thanks 👍
Nice 👍
Brilliant review. My wife has just bought a Countryman JCW , it's fantastic, looks the dogs nuts, practical and is very nippy, great car.
Cool car 👍
If I wanted a small SUV I would pick the Countryman...
They sure are. Brilliant cars to drive 👌
Countryman all the way. I'm short like sitting higher. Feel like I'm in control.
The Countryman is exactly what it’s supposed to be - a mini suv. Higher driving position and clearer view.
This is why we are leaning towards the countryman. I’m short like sitting high up.
Great to know 👍
“Feel like” is the key word. It’s a false sense of security. Also for some reason, women always say this, and I’m not sure why.
I own a 2021 Countryman Oxford edition and I love love love my car! All wheel drive and 4 wheel drive! Its my favorite car ever!
I can see why people would prefer the Clubman, but as a family man, I just can’t do it. I love my Countryman though. It’s beautiful, fun, and a joy to drive. Maybe when my kids move out I’ll get a Clubman.
Good plan 👍
I have a Countryman and love it! Debated on the Clubman or the Countryman when I was buying.
Oh wow! How did you come to that conclusion?
@@grahamlake9728 it came down to space, Countryman has more seat space in back when taking friends places.....
I’m absolutely in love with my 2021 Clubman S. The Countryman is a great car, but lost the Mini character at some point
Love it. And the bike test; that’s my main requirement.
Great comparison video! Clubman's definitely the stand out between the two. Take care and stay safe!
Cheers 👍
I’ve been waiting for this review. I own a 2020 JCW Clubman and I’ve driven the 2020 JCW Countryman. If I did a vlog I’m pretty sure it wouldn’t have concluded the same. Excellent review! 👍
Was it dark when you picked up the Countryman? Or did you just not look at it?
@@grahamlake9728 huh?
Wasn’t sure if you were preferring the Countryman! Such an ugly brute (the car, that is)!
Stay well
Great you have both to choose from 👍
Fantastic video once again. A thorough comparison! Clubman for me though👍
The wife ordered a 2022 JCW Clubman 2months ago. Should be here in the next 10 days!!! Can't wait. :)
You are going to LOVE it 👍
@@PetrolPed It arrived in the USA on Wednesday and at our dealer in Pennsylvania on Friday. We get him (wife named him Olaf) next Friday (14MAY21)! We are both excited. I still think my 2013 Camaro SS convertible will be faster (496hp/525lb/ft) but I can't wait to ride in the JCW. Maybe she'll let me drive it. lol
@@PetrolPed It's here! We picked it up yesterday. Amazing!!!!!
The Countryman presents a very good packaging design! Impressive
Clubman for me too , country man just a bit too tall although more practical great review my friend hope Darcy feels better soon 🙏🏽🙏🏽
She’s back to her normal self now thanks 🙏🏻
I've got a Countryman on order, it fits the golf clubs in, job done, looking forward to it though, it replaces a BMW X1
Good point 👍
I just ordered my 2022 Countryman All4 JCW this week though it's going to take forever to arrive. Stripes included.
But let's just say the true MVP of this video is the phrase "ball wanger".
You will love it when it arrives 👍
He’ll be fine. I am 6’3” 👍
Countryman all day long 😎 Great buying guide. Thanks for making this!
Glad you enjoyed it!
