Have bought a 23 Plate ,VAUXHALL ASTRA GS 1.2 turbo , petrol, manual. Had it for 9 months, then one evening the battery was dead, call RAC, Twice in 2 days, on the second occasion it went to my local VAUXHALL dealer. It was a very technical issue. Still not sure what was wrong? A discision was made to take out all the wiring loom,and put in new. That was 10 weeks ago, the car is, and has been with VAUXHALL all this time,. I've decided enough is enough, we are opting for a new 24 Plate ASTRA.

Thanks for your honest opinion. Are you a real Vauxhall fan ? Maybe you should try other brands after the bad experience?

Further to my last reply, I'm getting a new 24 plate Astra replacement, because of the situation. Anyway I have been with VAUXHALL for well over 12 years, and I find the New Astra very comfortable to drive.

In UK, the heads up display is only standard in the Ultimate model and is an optional extra on the GS line so be careful!

No, from the looks of it, seems that it’s the hatch in GS Line trim, in black with the black rims. The Sports Tourer isn’t in production yet, or hasn’t had it’s full UK release.

I disagree. I think this car is stunning. The black badging, the spacing between the lettering, the visor grille are selling points to me. The tactile buttons vs the touch screen what are making me choose this over the golf.

@@AutoStartTest I think it stands out from other cars of its class on the road. They’re even more beautiful up close too. I like how they look fairly aggressive and masculine but not overly so lol beautiful car. Going to order mine next week either in the pearlescent white or black (the red is also very very nice) I have a 2011 Astra now so will be quite the upgrade. Thank you for the great video 🙌🏼
