They NEED to do a GSi version of this as it’s a good looking car. 19” alloys, Recaros, vented discs with Brembos, a bright orange and bright yellow option paint job, 300bhp turbo manual and lowered 20mm. Sell it for £34,950 and job done……… I wish haha
Noce looking car, and nkce interior but i cant go back to a gutless car. If they had a 2.0 diesel i would buy one. But being forced to have an automatic or a 1.2. No thanks
It's a car, not a big frumpy SUV, so it gets a 👍. Looks ok on the outside, but the interior looks a depressing place to be. I'd pay £20k tops for a petrol engine. They won't be getting my money.
I think 1.2 pure tech has been upgraded with chain
I have the Astra 1.4 petrol turbo on a 16 plate with only 31,500 miles on the clock. Great car and engine.

1.2 wet belt. No thanks. The price is also ridiculous.
It's now got a timing chain.
I am torn between the 1.2 130hp Astra Ultimate auto and the Peugeot 308 GT with the same engine which would you choose ?
It's the same car. Choose the one you like more or get the best deal on.
Still with a wet belt system?
No
@@mdog2501 Then it has a chain systen?
@@chips1889from 2021 both 1.2 puretech and 1.0 ecoboost (ford) have switched to chains
@@chips1889. 1.6 hybrid is chain
10 years too late and that's being generous...
It would be a good car but has two flaws: 1) engine pure tec - bad construction (not only wet timing belt), 2) too little space in the back.
They switched them to chain instead of wet belt since 2021
Buy a Mazda 3 instead

Nah this car ain’t it. The Astra is a dead car wouldn’t be surprised if this is the last Gen.
A Golf 1.5 hybrid cheaper than this Astra? Who, in his right mind, Will buy an Astra that costs more than a Golf?
