that was the direction they were going in anyway, they literally didn't produce any cars this year. their customer base wasn't doing anything for them
@dddd-uk4vn that's because their cars weren't very good, and long in the tooth
@@dddd-uk4vnthats because they were only selling like 3 different models and they were all like 8 years old. If they invested in new cars maybe they would sell more? Audi, bmw and mercedes sell like 10 different SUVs each and jag only had the F pace 🤷♂️
Land Rover seems to have a much better model range and also does frequent updates
They didn't have a customer base
Honestly, Im more interested in their brand now. The ad was wonky, but their brand / style was so dated. Looking forward to see what their first car actually look like!
I can see the new black trans James Bond driving the pink one on the upcoming movie...
Bond usually drives an Aston Martin.
Ok boomer
@@riba2233How’s your gender transition going?
@ Gen X! Wrong again!
😂😂😂
DEIGUAR, RIP to an old, distinguished tradition and heritage.
The Jaguar brand Inventors rolling in their graves looking at the brand they put their blood and sweat into go down like this, this is sad and selfish by the current owners!
You sure negative views were just from right leaning people? It seems to me the whole of planet earth thought their rebrand was a disaster.
Mostly right leaning.
Nothing wrong with Jaguar, thanks to the advert I will now only buy Jaguar Tampons.
But you are a man
paradoxically that would be the perfect name for this new car: the "Tampon"
I bet Producer Michel will buy one.
Different does NOT MEAN GOOD. LISTEN TO YOUR CUSTOMERS AND CRITICS COMPANIES!!!
What did this video cost Jaguar?
Batman the animated serious batmobile
The ad looks like the nightmare you would have after a bad trip to Ibiza, a rave , or a dystopian horror movie. I don't know which one it is. Take your pick.
Wait…this can’t be still in the concept design phase as for them to not show the final car. Right??
They should have just bought up what was left of Fisker and go from there.
Is this a paid commercial? You should list if the video is sponsored by Jaguar.
Of course it's not, why would it be?
Looks like a cartoon Cadillac that some first year design student banged out over a weekend.
OK, a long weekend....
Whilst on a drug and alcohol fuelled bender.
Downvote for me. I couldn’t disagree more with this video.
Celebraties, influencers and rich kids will definitely buy this car, it will be their new G63/Urus. Then the general public will likely try to emulate them
All 37 of them surely
Jag just hammered that last nail in the coffin.
It's interesting. There are a crap ton of people who have never owned a jaguar and were never going to complaining like children about the rebrand.
We can’t afford an opinion? Hilarious of you.
Is the car still rendering?
Can’t wait to see the rainbow 🌈 stripes on the turbo battery model
Jaguar will be gone in less than five years....which will not be soon enough.
I don't know what Matt smoked to like this thing
Jaguar cooked❌ Jaguar got cooked ✅
Why does the interior look more like a bathroom than that of a car?
It is now truly bidding TA TA to Jaguar to the Indian owner's TATA after this abomination.
tata even involved in making the operating systems for bmw's electric cars now, its all about the software now i think
Jaguar can take their Faggatron 9000 and shove it.
Jaguar lost their identity, I don't care about their future cars no more
Although I generally am not into EVs I'm thinking this concept could look great in something like a flat black or dark silver/ pewter color with copper or brass metal accents. Sort of a cyberpunk take on a 1920s gangster ride. But sadly the production car will probably look nothing like this so why do I even bother to speculate...
People are talking about Jaguar because it's rebranding ad is distinctive. And that's it. But sucessful rebranding has to cover more: retain brand equity (nope), emotional connection and positive response (nope), holistic application across platforms (questionable), clear messaging and benefit (nope). Btw, DEI kills brands and Jaguar went full DEI.
driving jag now days is an insult, thats all, driving a jag is a sissy
I hate the ad but the car is interesting. I'm sure most of the negative comments on the car wouldn't exist if it werent for that advert.
reminds me of the last camro gen where it had tiny slits for windows and no visibility, like you're driving from inside a tank
Where is Ms Penelope when you need her. Thunderbirds are go….
Come on Mat. Dont defend them. That car is horrendous. I used to be a big Jaguar fan from the older xtype, xj, xe, xf, f pace, i pace, f type ahh man how jaguar fell off now.
