Surprised how no one is revealing it as a slightly altered Peugeot 308. I love the front, especially the lack of silver trim. Looks good in red, but better in THIS black treatment. Front looks great, but as I'd spend more time behind the wheel than outside looking at the 'nose', I'd probably opt for the Peugeot because I love, love, love the iCockpit in the Peugeots.
Ive had every Astra since they started but last time my wife wanted a VW Tiguan it’s okay but definitely going back to Vauxhall Astra gs line here we come
Ordered that exact model and colour, ordered from my local Vauxhall dealership July 2022 and the due date is 2 July 2023!! Absolutely shocking service and if I’d have known there was going to be so many cancelled due dates I’d have ordered a focus etc
Looks good Corsa as already knocked fiesta of top spot and mokka is doing really well this astra will probably be in top 3 subject to availability of components love it
Really love driving this car. Drives really smooth but had a crush unfortunately. Now its hard for me to get to work. A minor damage but the insurance had to write it off. I'm fuming 😤. #teamcarless. Wish I could win this car in a jackpot
As a Vauxhall fan its lost that Vuaxhall interior smell and the Vauxhall charechter its just too french, especially the interior door handles, gear knob, buttons exterior door handles and mirrors but all in all its a 6/10 i prefer the Astra K.
Ive ordered a new kuga st line x ..phev ..but tbh i dnt do enough miles to warrent the large deposit of 6350 ..ive decided now after watching your video to cancel the kuga, was push8ng towards the deisel 1.5 but 100 getting the 1.2 turbo ultimate black edition 🕶👌
@@redblade8160 your car would have been registered before September 2019 mine was in September for the 2nd half of the year registrations so it's a 69 plate

I had a 2019 Vauxhall corsa as my first car and it treated me well. I now own a 2021 Vauxhall Astra which I absolutely love but this new astra is making me tempted to trade in already...
I am afraid Vauxhalls have lost their way. I have owned 28 Vauxhalls mainly the sporty Astras GTEs SriS and VXR s. Last car was a Insignia grand sport VXLine with good spec. Wanting to go back to a hot hatch the best you could do is a 1.6 200 hp car. I looked at a lot of cars that had 300 + hp which is the bench mark for a hot hatch. Mega hatches are now pushing 400 hp. Vauxhalls best effort is half that. The Astra Nurburgring was up with the most powerful hatches. What has happened?
Vauxhall have found a new path, I own a fully loaded Insignia B Elite Sports Tourer which I picked up for £15000 at 10500 miles. You can't get more for your money.
I’ve got the previous gen Astra SRi with the 200ps engine and it’s pretty brisk, but it’s more warm-hatch then a hot one. Remember with the Mk5 Golf GTi had 200ps and was a proper hot hatch? Time really has moved on! Really hope VX bring back some proper performance cars.
I’ve got the hybrid, looks exactly like this one. Excellent car in so many ways however some of the plastics on the lower doors and sides of doors are some of the worst quality plastics I’ve ever seen, like something off a Lada.
Hopefully an improvement on the Astra sports tourers i've had , 2016 cdti massive engine and clutch issues at 60k+ , 2017 model just had the clutch system replaced and the diesel whisper engine is worthless at only 36,000 miles ... Worst vauxhall Diesel motors by a million miles , and then there's the tyre monitoring systems that are useless and showing errors at 15,000 miles + ... very light and nippy with good fuel consumption but shocking engine , gearbox and clutch systems ... The old astra diesels were good for 250,000 miles when well serviced , these are less than 50k max
I've got the Ultimate. Due to be built sometimes end of May, beginning of June. Should get it in the next month or so. Been waiting 3 months so far so I'm excited to pick it up.
Those french 3 pot 1.2 engines are pretty weak. A friend of mine has that same engine in a 208. It's ok as a short journey shopping car but that's where it's strengths end
Like the styling, wouldn't buy one because it's French. Opel/Vauxhall were good when GM owned them and they had their own engines/gearboxes. The astra h was basically an astra g with better suspension. These small engine big turbo French things won't last long. OK if you buy new every 3 years, but that in itself is a mugs game.
My Vauxhall had an engine block made from inferior metal. Vauxhall denied any liability and lost my full service history in the process - how very convenient. Had to pay for a new engine, as a consequence I would not touch another Vauxhall if they were the only car manufacturer on the planet.
But if a harsh opinion to be honest. While I may not have it in black I think it at least looks evil. Yellow would be the colour for me it looks stunning.
The Vauxhall Astra has gone right down in every way compared to the Astra in the last 5 years up until 2019 (it was such a beautiful car). The "new 2022 Vauxhall Astra" looks very bland and they only have 3 cylinders (I don't call that a car anymore)! Only a halfwit presenter like the one in this video would praise today's Vauxhall Astra for its gimmicks because it has very little else to offer or talk about!
